We're renting points from a DVC member for our upcoming trip. Will we be on the list for PINs or codes after our visit, or do you have to have booked direct with Disney to be eligible to receive these?

Thanks!

It helps to register on the disney web site. Make sure that you check the box that says you are interested in getting information and offers from them. May not matter if you book a vacation or not. It does help that they know you exist.

Cool! I just guessed you probably should have stayed onsite or something to get on the "list". I am registered on their website, but I did go update my profile. I keep calling our trip a "trip of a lifetime", but DD is only 5 so I'm sure the right deal could easily sway me to return sooner rather than later. ;)

Sending everyone "code vibes"...

I've never booked anything at WDW nor have I been there, but I've been sent several codes. :)

You can also order the planning DVD, I heard that triggers pins sometimes too

I've booked through Disney everytime but twice and I've only gotten a code once in my life... about 9 yrs ago and we couldn't use it since we'd just purchased a house and had a newborn baby..... since then... NOTHING! :(

If you really want to get pins/codes, you must register in any Disney site.

Have a nice day everyone. :)
