Thanks! I'm not Jewish, but the Jewish society at our Uni were handing out these little cookie things with some leaflets about Purim, and they were GOOD!

We also have Jewish family, so I will pass on the wishes!

A very happy and "frelichin" Purim to all those who are celebrating. Have fun (but not to much, every year a handful of people end up on the hospital with alcohol poising) It’s the one time of year my employees say they wish they were Jewish… :”You mean there is a holiday where you are supposed to drink?”

All the best,

Jon (Cold Stone Guy)

Yes, also watch the drinking & driving. Be smart & safe.

Maimonides's opinion was that one should drink just enough to make one sleepy. Alcohol poisoning is just not getting the point of the holiday.

Kevin - chocolate hamentaschen is the best if made right!

There is such a thing as CHOCOLATE hamantashen? Where have they been hiding them all my life? Personally, I'm a poppy man myself, with prune coming in a close second.

Happy Purim everyone!!!

Chag Purim Sameach, everybody. And Chocolate Hamantaschen for all!!

I just bought a bunch to take to my gentile MIL tomorrow (her mother passed away on Friday, nothing says Catholic funeral like hamantaschen, right?). Of course, we can't leave town for the wake until after my DS 8 has read the Megillah (the third grade is reading it to the kindergarten (my other DS's class)). Only my crazy, mixed up family has a wake and Purim on the same day...:confused3 :sad2: :thumbsup2

I can't drink this Purim, but I"m planning on eating my weight in hamentoshen! :rotfl:
The chocolate ones are really good, but my favorite is the cherry. Nummy.
