International Phone Card for Western?

Would it be worthwhile to buy an international phone card for the western itinerary? We are making this trip without our kids and thought it might be nice to check in at home from Cozumel or Grand Cayman. Would an international phone card work from those ports? Where would I buy a phone card?

Although I can't answer whether or not they'd be useful, I found these at Target yesterday:

135 min. world card, $9.95 each
85 min. international card, $5.50 each

If you're looking for ease of use, you can use your AT&T card from any public phone.

From Grand Cayman:

Dial 1-800-872-2881 from a Grand Cayman pay phone. This will connect you to the AT&T network and the voice prompts you need to call home and charge it to your AT&T card.

From Cozumel:

Dial 01-800-288-2872.

These additional notes are on the AT&T web site:

Thanks. I knew I could count on fellow DISers.
Dave, we don't have AT&T and my SprintPCS service representative couldn't guarantee my phone would work (BTW, Cozumel doesn't even appear as a city on their Mexico list :confused: ). Even if it does work, it would be $0.69-0.99/minute for air time plus $1.20-$5.60/minute for long distance, with no way to know ahead of time what the actual long distance charge is.
So, I am grateful to know from GoodStepMom that I can buy an international card from my favorite store, right down the street, Target ! (pronounced here as Tarjay;) ) Heck, it's not like I'm not over there 3 or 4 times a week anyway! Let's see, three more weeks at a conservative 3 visits/week--I think I can remember sometime in my next 9 visits to check there :D
