I found some really good deals for the summer on www.hotels.com website. Haven't found any good airfares though.

I just got an e-mail for 3 free nights at the Wynn and $200 credit. I don't think I can share that deal as it's attached to my card but I think if I put in the e-mail address of a "friend" that I want to share with, I think it gives $109 per night rooms and some casino credit. If you're interested, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.

go to air carriervacations.com (i.e., deltavacations.com) and check to see what they're offering. Also check Travelzoo.com. And, of course, check the individual hotels OFTEN. I was booked for Paris @ $95/night in April then was able to get the Flamingo for $45/night. Saved enough money to buy discount tix (thru Travelzoo) to see Penn & Teller and rent a car for 4 days! :cool1:
(We like mid-strip and the Flamingo has good prices and an ideal location for us. Besides, if you'd want you can upgrade to a room with a few of... the Bellagio fountains!)
For hotels, if you don't need Mandalay Bay luxe then you could consider Bill's Gamblin' Hall which is next to the Flamingo. They've gotten good reviews for the price at tripadvisor.com And, Travelzoo has some show tix offers right now as well. We also got tix to see "Jersey Boys" at a discount.
If you're flying out of a major airport that has competition from the discount carriers like Air Tran or Jet Blue or SW, that helps drive the price down. Go to kayak.com and see what the best price is. If you can fly out of an alternate airport (i.e., Phoenix instead of Tucson, Philly instead of Newark) also search from those airports b'c the price difference could very well be enough to make it worth the drive! (It has been for us!)

Check out Vegasmessageboard.com for some ideas. We just booked a week trip to Vegas for a not so high price.

Not sure if you are a Costco or Sam's club member, but we've booked through Costco before and done great! Have fun!
