My WP emailed me (or should I say her assistant did) a long questionaire about the wedding and that's about it. I was expecting information about the cake and flowers and other options.

Is this it for the kit, or am I missing something? :confused3

I got that questionnaire by email and received a folder with the cake cd and prices that's about it. I was expecting a lot more, I guess because I read everywhere about this huge planning kit that was over whelming. If you haven't received it you should be getting it in the mail soon, if not ask your planner about it.

Hey I am just a bit curious are the floral and cake options the same as the ones online, or are they expanded in the kit? I assume you got it 60 days in advance? I have to stop being impatient...

That's exactly what I was thinking. I've read all about this huge (at least in my mind) planning kit, and I'm not seeing the reality. I'll drop her an email by the end of the week if I don't hear anything.

THanks all! :goodvibes

I never got the packet with floral options or a cake CD, but maybe that's cuz I had so many opinions that my planner figured I knew what I wanted already... :rotfl:

i got it about 10 months before the cruise, but Cathy sent me an email about 120 days out saying "are you going to send back your packet?"
At 30days, I got another packet with everything I picked and if I needed changes (i changed the cake color and flavor at this point) then sign and send pack

I got my planning kit today and it had the sort of check list thing thatyou are talking about. We're having an Escape wedding so my kit just has the choices from the web site and some additional choices (i.e. flowers for the wedding party extra champagne, the song list). Amy (my WP) said to contact her with any additional things that I needed. She also said that Rosie would call me about flowers, photograhy and any other decoration things I need (rose petals, crystal Mickeys in my bouquet(a must for me!)).

Always remember that you don't have to go with Disney's floral and cake options. If you see something in a magazine or online, print it out and show it to your planner. They will tell you what can be done. Most floral requests can be done but the cakes need to be shown to the bakery to see if they can create something similar.

I'm actually curious about this too...do you get this when you call Disney to plan a wedding there? I know a TON about disney, but this is one thing I never found out!!
