focus screens

i know this was asked not long ago but can't get past page 4 in the search. i'm looking for something to help manual focus with blurry eyesight. does anyone know if something like katz eye helps with that ? is it easier to see the screen focus point/lines whatever than the object you are taking? guess i am asking since i've never seen it in action, how something like this actually helps with manual focus
