I saw these at Target before the holidays. Didn't buy it & now I can't find it. Anyone own one? Is it any good? Who makes it? TIA

Are you talking about the border punch that has the stars, hand, M, and Mickey head? I have it but haven't used it yet. I got it about a week or 2 after I finished my Disney book. Although I still have two more trips to scrap.

I got it on sale from Joann's online a few weeks ago. They had the Mickey one and the Princess one. Of course I had to HAVE that one too! :rotfl:

I saw that too at target, I did not buy it and now I am kicking myself. I've looked a little online, but haven't found it yet. Its not a need, but it would have been nice to have!

I have the cutter you are talking about from Target. Its not a border punch but a paper cutter. Its not great, it only cuts going one direction. The scissors that came with it are my favorite though. I will look at the brand and post pics today.

It is by EK Success. My daughter has it, and loves it. The original blade that came in it would always fall out, but I bought some replacement blades at JoAnns, and they stay in. It is quite cute!

Can someone post a pic? I'm really curious to see what the paper trimmer looks like and what it does. I've never seen it anywhere. Thanks!

Here is the trimmer: Like I said I hate the blade as it only cuts going one way. I am going to replace it with a fiskars blade.

And these scissors came with it. They are Cutter Bees and are GREAT.

Thanks for posting the pic. So is it just a straight trimmer?

Yes, it is just a straight cutter.

Did you just buy the regular orange Fiskars blades? I love the cutter, just not the blade.

No, the Fiskars ones would not fit the track. I just tried one on my daughters. In the Mickey head of the cutter, there is a small blade. EK Success has a 3 pack of blades that they sell. They are only about 1/2 " x 1/4". The Mickey head itself does not get replaced like in the Fiskars one, where the whole orange piece gets replaced. Her cutter cuts nicely both ways. I did not try it before we switched the blade though. Does that make sense?:confused3

Yes, it does. Thanks I am happy to hear I get to keep the Mickey piece! Thanks so much, I am going to fix it tomorrow. Maybe I just got a bad blade.:goodvibes

Maybe they all came with bad blades, because her blade was really annoying her. The blade would fall out everytime that she opened it up to put a piece of paper in it. She asked if we could just glue it in place and I told her no, because then there would be a problem when she needed to replace the blade. Then recently I was at JoAnns, and I happened to see the 3 pack of blades (where the cutting tools and accessories were), and I thought we would try a different one, and now it works great!
