Advantages of online check-in???

I was just curious as to what the advantages are of checking in online? You still have to go to the counter to get your folder and room, corrct? We will be at OKW on Monday and I am still deliberating whether or not to do the online thing.

Interested in opinions as well! and butting in---A question that I have directly related, there's been several discussions as to room assginments, are they preassigned or are they assigned when you show up at the desk? and does the process differ between let say OKW and BWV? If that's the case then would special requests have a better chance of being met by online registration than by getting your room at the last minute?

If you are coming in via the ME bus, then it might be much quicker if it's a full bus (and I assume they fill them very well to save on costs).
