I just got an email from Brenda Bennett yesterday, and she said that WDW is adding Enjoy Life products to its parks! This is great news for us b/c the other "pre-packaged" specialty desserts were not safe for us (the gluten free brownie and cookie contained eggs, and the divvies contain wheat). She said that they hope to have them in the parks before our visit in May. I have been SO impressed with WDW and their special diets crew! They have been awesome to us so far. --Katie

HALLELUHA
I use their products a lot and mom loves their cookies. I swear by them and they are safe for people with many allergies.

All Enjoy Life foods are specially made to be free of the eight most common allergens. That means they contain NO wheat/gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, fish or shellfish--the allergens that account for 90% of all food allergic reactions in the United States. They’re also made without casein, potato, sesame and sulfites.

That is great news...especially for people with multiple allergies.
I've had their cookies (snickerdoodle maybe? something like that) and liked it.:thumbsup2

Enjoy Life is great for a lot of people, but I do know of some who can't have it as it upsets them. My friend's daughter has Celiac disease and although this brand is supposedly safe and wheat-free, it does upset her stomach. These are the brands that are safe for her child: Kinnikinnick, Tinkyada, Environkiz, Ener-G-Foods, Glutino, Bob's Red Mill, Chebe, Namaste, and The Gluten Free Pantry. I'm also well acquainted with them as my son has a wheat allergy. I'm praying he'll outgrow it. He's fine with Enjoy Life, but as I said, not everyone can eat it.

did Brenda say which Enjoy Life foods? I'm really hoping for some chocolate bars! My kids can't do the cookies because of the apple allergy.

Does anyone know where they will be selling these items?

Ariel's Grotto at DLR serves Redbridge gluten free beer.
Not sure yet where you will get the Enjoy Life products and if they will be individual servings like the Divies or given to guests for desert at restaurants.

This is so exciting!
My son has a dairy allergy and celiac's disease. I mostly make everything from scratch, but Enjoy life is one of the few brands we'll use.
Woo-hoo

Mrs. Bennett did not say which locations will carry the EL products. Here's a quote from what she said in her email:
"Regarding your question regarding desserts, are your children ok with Enjoy Life products. We are in the process of getting some added to some of the locations. We should have some by the time you arrive and will know which locations plan to carry them. Please get back with me a couple of weeks prior to your visit and we should have an updated product sheet."
Our trip is in May, so I'll email her sometime in April, and let you guys know which locations are carrying the Enjoy Life stuff. We are PUMPED about this trip!! -Katie
