I apologize profusely for the lateness. :guilty:
I completely underestimated how difficult it would be to find magnets in the off season. Turns out I could not find even one magnet in my home town anywhere...but I *finally* managed to get some magnets I was happy with and sent them all out yesterday (Wednesday). So far I have not received anything yet, but in general, mail delivery here tends to be slow.
I feel great that I managed to get it done though :cool1:

I got a package last night from pepsicube. The magnet was of Sudbury Hall/the Museum of Childhood. It's so neat because I got not only the awesome magnet but also some literature that gave a lot of really detailed information about the Museum of Childhood. Very cool! Thanks so much! :goodvibes

When we arrived home on Saturday I discovered a package had arrived with two lovely magnets from Rochester, along with a very cute little UK bear charm. Thank you very much Joa!
Yesterday (Monday Mar 23rd) I received two very nice magnets from Scotland, and a lovely postcard along with some Scottish *treats*. I'm trying to share the treats, so everyone here can have a taste of Scotland - they are very yummy. I do want to add that the term 'crabbit' is going to be put into use around here, when appropriate ;)... we are already familiar with crabby. :laughing: Thank you spookysarah!

I'm really pleased the Niagara Falls magnets arrived and that you like them...seems like they traveled quickly :woohoo:
As nice as it is to live near Niagara Falls - I grew up in this area and *never* tire of seeing them - I sincerely doubt you would want to swap houses, or at least not until our renovations are signficantly closer to completion ... some day we'll get there.

Today I received yet another package full of surprises. This one is from Ormskirk. A lovely postcard magnet and a decorative flower, a couple of handy dandy reminder magnets and some cute clips with hearts...plus a couple of postcards with recipes - one for gingerbread and one for a hotpot (looks a bit like a type of stew, at least it looks that way from reading it through).

black treacle - is this the same as molasses?
golden syrup - is something thick like Lyle's golden corn syrup required, or can I use regular corn syrup?

Mine arrived today and have I been spoiled, firstly thanks Jo your package seemed to go on forever with all the fab goodies - like the sound of the recipes must give them a try. The bottle top magnets are really cool, love the postcard one and the flower which is really pretty - thank you so much.

Secondly thanks to Janet over the moon with my Disney and Sea World magnets they are fab, have a few Disney ones but not this one and haven't got a Sea World one these will look fab on my fridge/freezer.

Ok, well I've just had word from Scotland via tinkerella's DD and she has received her magnnets from Kellyla.


Seems that tinkerella has been in hospital with pneumonia for a couple of weeks and has just been released.
