Any Advice is appreciated..... For a few reasons I waited until today to attempt to book both kids (ages 13 and 16) for parasailing on castaway (we cruise on 6/29).

To make a long story short, those of you who are familiar with this know that I also HAD to book an adult to go with the kids (thats the rule). Lo and behold there were only 2 spots left (one of which had to be an adult). So now I am in a position of only one of the kids being able to go and either my wife or I having to accompany them (I'd much rather the 2 kids went).

The question is this: Does anyone know if they keep some spots in "reserve" so I might have a shot at gettinng the 3rd spot when I get on the ship? Or, do any of you more experienced disney cruisers have any suggestions?

Any experience parasailing on St Martin or St Thomas?

Definitely try for the third spot while on the ship, I don't know if they keep any spots in reserve but there may be cancellations.

Good luck! :)

Why not arrange parasailing on your own at one of the other port stops?

We have chosen to use "Caribbean Water Sports" on St. Thomas, as CC goes by age rather than weight and that would have excluded our youngest. We'll go from Coral World, since we were going on our own there anyway, but they have many pickup points from St. Thomas and St. John.
E-mail Joe at
parasail@viaccess.net (Caribbean WaterSports & Tours)
and he'll send you a zipped file with the full info, and can take your reservations. We choose to just contact them from Coral World, and take whatever time we get, since I hate prepaying for things if I can avoid it.
Feel free to private message me, for a copy of the full information if you want. Oh, they also allow an extra person to just ride along on the boat for a much reduced price, and if you decide to fly after-all, that cost is subtracted from the flight cost. Discount coupons for Coral World from them too! ($4/$2 off)
Have fun. Lori
