Room rates in 2011

I'm working on planning our giant family trip for April of 2011 and was wondering if there's any way to know what the room rates will be then. If not, do they generally go up a certain percentage?

We too are waiting on rates for 2011! They will not be released any earlier than August of 2010! There really is no way to know what they will be. I think though that with the economy the way it is rates will not go up as much as in the past! You can probably depend on at least a 5-10% increase by then though!

One thing you can possibly do is to determine when easter is in relation to when you will be going. If it is earlier than your trip, it is possible that the rate season will be the regular season, as opposed to peak season. Will give you a bit more information and then when the 2010 rates come out, you will be a bit closer to being able to determine the rates.

we are also planning a 2011 vacation, but in August. I have ran the numbers for this year to get a ruff idea of what it will cost and added about 6% to the cost. Once the 2010 rates come out we will see what the difference, if any. I also don't think with the economy they will raise the prices to much.
