Just curious if anyone got a good deal for early May at WDW...OTHER than the pay for 4 get 3 days free?

I called the other day just to see what a room only rate would be for POFQ May 3rd-8th. I am going solo and can't go for 7 nights so I can't use the 4 get 3, plus I already have my ticket. Anyway, I was quoted a rate of $170 a night! Wow. No can do.

So then 2 days later I get an email from Disney. "Hey! We hear you are thinking of staying at Port Orleans!" Hurry and book now ... I thought there might be a discount or pin attached, but nope, still $170 a night. Guess they booked enough rooms with the 4 get 3 Free? But as far as I can tell, none of the moderates I checked are booked???

I was able to get a great deal for an annual passholder discount in mid may. I know you said you already have your ticket, but I thought I would mention it. I am paying $94 per night at Coronado Springs. Hope this helps!

Wow! That is really good. Sadly, I'm not an AP holder though, I would love that rate!

Good question! I was wondering the same thing. The Dolphin rate is awesome but... we want to do a few days in the parks before the podcast cruise and really need Magical Express since DH and I are taking DD3 2 days before our teen DD is coming down. Magical Express will allow us to not have to go back to the airport to pick her up. I had a pin code mailed to us but have lost it somehow :(

Call! If you have a PIN code under your name then they have it stored in their system. They can tell you what it is for and book it for you.

We were able to use the Military discount (40%off a night)for our Pre and Post podcast cruise stays.:thumbsup2 We also received an email pin for a $500 gift card with a 5 night stay. We canceled that ressie because the 40% off ended up being a better deal. :goodvibes

Ok, I don't have an AP  and it's probably too late for me to join the military. ..... :rotfl:

Hey Lisa...One idea that came to mind was AAA. Do you belong to AAA? If so, sometimes their discounts are equivalent to AP rates.

If you are not a member you should look into joining. What you can do is call your locall AAA office and ask them to quote you an AAA rate for your dates. If the rate is really good you should buy the membership. Once you purchase the membership send in a quote request to Dreams and let them know you have an AAA membership.

Just a thought. It may or may not be an option, but its certainly worth looking into. Good luck! :)
