At the campus presentation one of the college reps was talking about how he enjoyed picking up OT with extra hours hotline, esp. how he enjoyed working in all the parks. He was a attractions castmember.
Was he stretching it do you really get a chance to work all 4 different parks if you pick up a shift in a park different than your normal one? DF was wondering how this would work costume wise?

What is available changes from week to week. Some positions require training in certain areas (could be something as general as basic merchandise training or very specific such as training at Mission Space). Others don't require any training at all.

So depending on what you are willing to do and what is available, it could be possible to work at least once in all of the parks and it may even be possible to work in the resorts.

As an attractions cast member, it's hard to work in all the parks unless you're lucky enough to catch shifts that require no training. For example, I'm trained to work at Big Thunder Mountain so...unless there are other BTM railroads somewhere else, chances are I won't find many extra shifts - unless they don't require specific training. Merchandise is usually an easy one to pick up since merchandise training in Disney is almost the same in all places around the parks.

I worked FSFB and I was able to pick up QSFB shifts with the training I had. QSFB shifts were really common, so they were easy to pick up. I also got to work other shifts that required no training like ESPN the weekend and handing out EMH bracelets at MK. You just go to the costuming location the day of or before and tell them where you are working and they will show you the proper costume. I thought it was fun to work extra shifts; I got to work in all 4 parks as well which was awesome!

I worked Merch and was able to pick up a few Extra Hours here and there. I even worked a shift at Peco's Bills which is a QSR place! I just poured drinks all night long.

I tried so hard to pick up EHH shifts but I never could! For one, you don't have a lot of time off and you learn to treasure it, but also most of the shifts required specific training! I was so bummed because I really wanted to work in the parks as my location was a resort.
