For those of you who haven't read my pre-trip report I will start this with the introductions.
First Me- Laura
I am a 37 year old stay at home mom. I love to plan our trips.
Dh- Faron
Faron is a very good husband and father. He also lets me plan our Disney trips. Faron loves to go to Disney World as much as me but every time we have gone he always says we are not going back again for a few years. We made it two years between our first and second trip and only one year between our second and third trip. He can't stay away from Disney World either.
Brennan he is our 11 year old son.
He is so sweet. He is very smart and a good baseball player. He loves Disney. We surprised him with this trip. He had a blast.
Grace is our 20 month old daughter. This is her second trip to Disney World. She had a blast too.
Courtney is our 16 year old daughter who decided that she didn't want to miss school to go to Disney World. She decided to stay behind. I was sad but I understood her point. She was worried about her grades. She also has a job and didn't want to miss work.
Here is a picture of our family at Animal Kingdom last year
(Notice my shirt says "Mom". Courtney said I had no shame wearing a shirt like that.)

To start this off I will say to all of you who are wondering, "We pulled it off!". I kept the trip a secret from Brennan and he was totally surprised.
We sent him to school on Friday (Feb. 20). Faron went check Brennan out of school around 11:30. He told him we were going to burn a VERY large pile of tree branches in our yard and that his grandparents were at our house to watch the fire. You can see a picture of the pile on my pre-trip report. When Brennan walked in Faron said that he had bad news for Brennan. He said, "You are not going to be able to go to baseball practice this weekend because you are leaving for Disney World in 30 minutes."
Brennan was in shock. He even had tears in his eyes. It was awesome. I don't have any pictures of it because I didn't want him to wonder what I had a camera pointed at him for. I wanted it to be a total surprise. I only have the memory of the moment. I will never forget the look on his face. We all had tears in our eyes, grandparents included. He really had no clue. He said he needed to pack and I said I had already done it. He was even surprised about that. He just couldn't believe this was happening to him.
On a little more sad note Courtney didn't want to go to school until we left. She wanted to see us surprise Brennan. I let her stay home and we planned for her grandma to check her in when we left. Well when I started packing she cried and said she wanted to come. My heart was breaking. She waited to pull this on me at the last minute. I was sad and mad at the same time. There was no way her dad would let her go now. She had made no arrangements for someone to take her place at work and he doesn't tolerate irresponsibility. I had begged her for weeks to go with us and she said no. Her dad was already mad that she was missing a morning of school when she said the reason she couldn't come with us was because she couldn't miss school.
We packed the car and said our goodbyes. We all cried, Courtney the most. I don't know how I left her behind. It was a hard lesson for her to learn. We missed her so much and she actually missed us. :scared1: . We left our house. We were about a mile down the road when Brennan realized he left his bag at home. We turned around to back for it. No big deal. Well we got 30 minutes away from home when Faron realized he forgot his walet. We had to turn around and go home to get it. This was getting old.
We drove to Tallahassee. It should have taken us 8 hours to get there, it took us ten. That is not counting the delay because of having to go back for the walet. Faron kept saying, "Why didn't we fly?" He was so agravited. We sat in traffic several times. It was very late when we checked into our room in Talahassee. I forgot to ask if the hotel had a crib and I found out too late that it didn't. We just pushed the bed closest to the wall against the wall and I slept with Grace and Faron slept with Brennan. Grace was not used to this at all and she kept pokeing me in the eyes and pulling my hair. She wouldn't go to sleep. It was very dark and at one point I felt something on my head. She had one knee on each of my ears and was riding the horsey on my head:scared1: . She finally fell asleep. We were sooooooooooo tired.
Up next day 2

I'm so glad you were able to surprise him! How fun!
I would have had a hard time leaving Courtney too! I think making our kids be responsible is one of the hardest parts of having kids, espeacialy teens.
Grace sitting on your head during the night is so funny! What a cutie!:rotfl2:

I don't have any pictures of our hotel room in Tallahassee but it was the Howard Johnson. We got there late. I can't remember what time. We woke up very early. We were out of there around 6:30am. Grace hated the room. The whole time we were trying to get ready she was crying at the door to leave. We had ice on our windshield when we got outside. I thought I was in Florida. We had a four hour drive ahead of us. We missed our turn according to mapquest directions but the toll lady told us what to do so we eventually did see this baby.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2574.jpg
We made it to Port Orleans Riverside around 10:30. Faron waited in the car so I could check us in. The line was stretched out to Hong Kong. Eventually they came looking for me. The people in front of me and behind me in line were from Louisian too. I asked for Magnolia Bend because I wanted an elevator. I didn't want to carry Grace and her stroller up stairs everyday. We got Magnolia Bend room #9506 (I Think). It was a first floor room. We had good news too. Our room was ready. We drove there and put all of our stuff away and unpacked. When we walked into our room this was waiting for us.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2575.jpg
We headed to the food court for lunch. Faron and I had the create your own pasta. It was good. Brennan had a individual pizza. He loved it. Grace had mac and cheese and grapes. She barely touched it.
I don't have any food pictures because meal time was usually quite stressful. Grace wanted out of her stroller and she wanted to run away. We had a hard time getting her to sit for long. We missed most of our ADRs because of this. She did much better with counter service.

So, the suprise... priceless. It did bring tears to my eyes. And so did the fact that you had to leave Courtney behind. Man, that must have been hard. But there's a reason she's got such a good head on her shoulders and it's because y'all teach her to be responsible. The HoJo sounded fun. Poor Gracie. Hope she got some rest in the car. It really wasn't that hard. She does like to run around but she also likes to ride in her stroller. I think she was trying to ask me to go back to Disney World today. She was talking about it the best way she could. I said do you want to go back and she said yes.

I have an update on Grace. I got a call this afternoon from the doctor she has tested positive for whooping cough. It is so scarry the way she coughs. She stops breathing. Last night was a little better she only had one really bad coughing spell. I never would have taken her to Disney World last week had I known what she has. I hope we didn't spread it to anyone else. I took her to the doctor twice before we left. The last time was two days before we left and he said we could go. He said she had bronchitis. I had to go straight to the doctor with her when we got back. The doctor at the after hours clinic is the one who figured out to test her for whooping cough. Please pray that we don't have any complications from this. They had to report it to the state and the kids can't go to school tomorrow. I have to wait to hear the state doctor about when they can return to school because they were exposed to a contagious disease.:scared1: We all had to get on medicine over here. It is quite scary.

I told the nurse from the school that we were at Disney World and we rode buses. Do you think I should call Disney? Who would I call? I am worried about the pack and play Grace slept in. She coughed the most when she was sleeping and that is what she slept in. I sure hope they clean them well when we check out.

Oh Laura,
What a crazy situation! I still can't believe Whooping Cough is going around. I'm glad that you finally know what is really wrong with her though. I would probably call the hotel and tell them about the pack n' play. If anything just to put your mind at ease. Has she been running a fever? I dont' know anything about WC. Weird! I know I mentioned before that when I had that horrible cough, I couldn't catch my breath. It was pretty terrifying for me. I can't imagine what it would be like to see my kids going through that. I will say lots of prayers for you and your family:hug:

More DRAMA
Now what you might ask?????
Faron was bitten by a poisonous snake this morning. He is in the hospital and he might have to have surgery in the morning. Courtney is at the hospital with him tonight because she can't go back to school until Tuesday because of the whole whooping cough drama. I had to come home with Grace because she is not well yet. I am torn between wanting to be at two places at once. Faron's hand looks horrible. I was reading a story to Grace and he came in saying to get him to the hospital NOW because he was bitten by a snake:scared1: . I had to leave Grace with Brennan and call my mom to rush over here. Faron's mom couldn't come because she was at home throwing up. She has a virus.:scared1: We were with her yesterday I hope we don't catch that too that is the last thing we need. I can't believe the drama that has unfolded around her from the moment we got home from Disney World. I have been on the phone for the last few days with state doctor and nurses because of the whooping cough and now this. Please keep us in your prayers I am so tired and I need a break from playing nurse for a while.
On a more funny note. Faron asked me to go home to get him a toothbrush and some clean underwear. The nurse asked if he messed in his pants when the snake bit him. He said no when I had to ride with her and her pointed to me. I drove him there with my hazard lights on and I flew there like a bat out of hell. I was soooooooo scared.

We are home. The doctor let Faron come home because it doesn't look like he has an infection. He has some darkening of the skin on his hand where the venom killed the muscle tissue. We have to go to the surgeon's office next week so he can see how bad the damage is. I am praying that he won't have to have surgery. I am just glad to be home. Grace is looking much better today. I think we have turned the corner with her illness and things are looking much better for her. I am just tired. I dreamed about snakes all night.

Faron was moving a piece of tin he had in the yard. The snake was behind it and was heading toward Brennan. Faron reached down to grab the snake behind the head and it bit him. They watch too many animal planet snake shows to think that he can pick up a snake.:scared1:
The doctor told us that after he left the hospital yesterday he killed a snake with his weed wacker when he was cleaning his yard. He said he thought of us. He said before they had anti-venom 20% of people died from snake bites.

Day 2 continued
Epcot
We went to the bus stop after lunch and headed to Epcot. Grace fell asleep. She was sleeping when we arrived.
This is a rare treat for Faron. Grace likes to sleep in her bed and rarely falls asleep on us. He was eating this up.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2584.jpg
We headed straight for Soarin to get fast passes. I hurried in the building and Faron waited outside with Grace and Brennan. It was about noon and as soon as I made it to the fast pass machine they were covering them up. No more fast passes for Soarin that day. Oh well. Grace was now awake so we headed to ride Nemo. She loves Nemo (Mo Mo). We had watched Finding Nemo four times on the trip here. She had also watched the nemo ride on you tube everyday for a few weeks before the trip. She loved it.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2585.jpg
When we got off the ride I bought her a stuffed Nemo. She was giving me a kiss for it in this picture.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2589.jpg
After Nemo we rode living with the land and Spaceship earth.
This was Grace's favorite part of Living with the Land.

Faron and Brennan rode Mission Space while Grace and I looked in Mouse Gears. I also called my mom while waiting. We walked through a couple of countries. I have a couple of pictures from Canada.

Grace and Brennan had fun watching this guy.
Brennan was ready for supper. We bought him and Grace some Mc Donalds chicken nuggets from the stand near Canada. I brought Brennan some small bottles of Dr. Pepper from home. We brought them into the parks everyday along with some bottles of water. I put them in a tote bag in the stroller. We would just get a cup of ice for him from the counter service places when we ordered food. Grace was throwing a full out temper tantrum when I was ordering the food. It got quite stressful and I snapped at Faron who was now not talking to me. Wonderful our first melt down. To top things off when Brennan opened his bottle of Dr. Pepper it sprayed all over the place. It got on me Grace and Brennan. Also all over Grace's new white sweater which she was now wearing because it was cold. I made up with Faron but I could tell he was still holding a grudge. Grace didn't eat much at all. Brennan ate all his food and most of hers.
We headed to Mexico and went to the counter service restaurant there. Grouchy Grace was now asleep in her stroller. We found a nice table by the water and I went order some food. Faron and I both got the nachos. They were sooooooooooooooooo good. The best nachos I ever had. Brennan wanted to go ride test track but I said we needed to get the heck out of Dodge. Grace was done. When we got back to the resort Faron gave Grace a breathing treatment. I washed Grace's sweater in the sink and Brennan and I went to the laundry room to dry it. Brennan got in the pool to swim while I waited for the sweater to dry. It was freezing. The pool was NOT heated like it was supposed to be. It was ice cold. He got out quick. We finished drying the sweater and we went to bed. It was a long day. I was praying Grace would behave better the next day.

Thanks he is still in pain. He went to work yesterday but had to come back home because he was hurting. He has to go to the surgeon next week. I am praying he doesn't have to have surgery. He looked at snakes online yesterday and he found the kind that bit him. It is a cotton mouth. Water mocosain. I know I spelled that wrong:rotfl2:

Look out my DH's a teacher, he'll get out his red pen!!! Just kidding!! My spelling is awful, and its worse when I type! Oh,don't worry about my hubby because as our kids say "He's not a teacher he's a coach!!" We love that! He majored in science and our son will not ask him to help with science homework. DS11 is the one that started the whole "he's not a teacher" thing and now its a running joke in our house.
Hope Faron has a better day today! Bye, Alisa

One of my friends in school would correct notes we would write to her in class with her red pen. Guess what, she is a teacher now. Go figure.:rotfl2: I typed that post before my second cup of coffee this morning.
Brennan would love your dh because he is a science loving kid. He watches animal planet and he is always talking our head off with facts he learns. He is also a very good baseball player. I think they would have something to talk about:rotfl2: .

Day three Animal Kingdom
We were up bright and early and at the bus stop to make it to Animal kingdom for rope drop. We talked a little with a family from Louisiana. I think they were from around New Orleans. When we went through bag check at Animal Kingdom I just about died. The security guard who was checking Brennan's bag suddenly yelled out, "Call off the search!". I was thinking what in the world is wrong. He then said, "I have found Nemo!" He pulled Grace's new stuffed Nemo out of Brennan's bag.:rotfl2:
After the opening show we hurried to Expedition Everest to get fast passes. We then hurried to ride the safari. On the way to the safari we ran into the guy who was the DJ at our wedding reception. He was running with his family to ride Everest so he didn't have time to stop and talk. It was neat running into him anyway. We only waited around ten minutes to ride the safari. Grace loved it. Brennan too. It was funny because Grace made a Cheeeeeeeeeese face for most of the ride. With all the people having there cameras out she thought they must be taking her picture. It was really funny.:rotfl2:
The tourguide said it was rare to see the male and female lions out together
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2629.jpg
Next we backtracked to Everest to ride. I really love this ride. I took Grace to ride the dino dumbo ride. We got fastpasses for Dinosaur then we took Grace to the dino dig playground. Disney Tiger said her kids had a blast here so we decided to try it. Grace and Brennan had fun playing on the slides. Faron did too.

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2647.jpg
On the way to ride Dinosaur we ran into Courtney's old Girl Scout leader and her girls. I rode Dinosaur first with Brennan and Faron sat out with Grace. We did baby swap. Grace fell asleep so she got a little nap in. This was the first time I rode Dinosaur with my eyes open. The other trips when we rode it I kept my eyes closed the whole time. I left then open the whole ride. I am so proud of myself. I am getting brave.
We had lunch at Flame Tree Bar-B-Que. It was our first time eating there it was soooooooooooo good. Next we watched Flights of Wonder. I got Grace a strawberry minnie mouse pop sickle. She ate it during the show. She really liked those things. This was our first time watching this show because Courtney always said it was probbally stupid and never wanted to watch it. Now was our chance. We enjoyed it.

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2686.jpg
We then headed to Its Tough to be a Bug. Grace hated it. She still cries when we talk about it. She is soooooooooooo much like her big sister. Courtney only did this show once and then she refused to ever do it again. Grace kept saying NO! No! and fussing at the bugs in the show.
We watched the parade. I love this picture of Grace pointing at the parade.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2703.jpg
After the parade we went to ride Kali River Rapids. I rode first with Brennan and Faron waited to ride after. We did baby swap again. Faron took this picture while he was waiting. I love it.

While Brennan and I were waiting in line to ride Kali River rapids I remembered that I left my poncho with Faron. I did NOT want to get wet. Last year after we rode I handed my poncho to someone waiting in line. I told Brennan maybe it will come back to me and someone will do the same for me. We were about to get on the ride and I said a little prayer that God would keep me dry. As soon as I prayed the words someone handed me a poncho. God is sooooooo good. Faron got a picture of us on the ride. My poncho was a New Orleans Saints one. When we went down the slope I pulled the cord on my poncho and it closed up covering my whole head. The lady across from me just about died laughing. I stayed dry.

This is a cute picture of Grace watching us on the ride.

This picture is proof that I stayed dry
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2666.jpg
We left the park after that because we had dinner reservations at T-Rex for supper. We were on the bus with the same family from this morning again. When we got off the bus the man said, "I guess we will see you same time and place tomorrow morning." It was funny. I really liked these people.
Up next Down Town Disney and T-Rex........................

Good News
Faron went to the surgeon today and he doesn't have to have surgery. The doctor cut away all the dead skin and said it is healing well. He doesn't have to go back until two weeks. I am soooooooooooo happy. It is itching him pretty bad because it is healing but the doctor gave him some medicine for that.

I think I mentioned the one time I randomly saw somebody we knew in WDW. You know everybody talks about "running into people they know." Usually, the term is not used LITERALLY. In this case, it was. On my June 2005 trip, I was on the bridge between the Beach Club and the Boardwalk, and I almost got hit by one of those surrey bikes. We pause to exchange "excuse mes" and lo and behold, it's my mom's best friend from high school (who she still keeps in touch with)!
She knew that her friend was going to be down at WDW, but was not sure of the dates or anything, so we had not planned to meet up at all. Turns out, they had just gotten in that day, and we were leaving the next afternoon. We ended up meeting for breakfast the following morning. :thumbsup2

Hi, I am sorry I have been MIA lately. I have been so busy. We all had a horrible virus a week after the snake bite. I am just trying to get things back to normal around here. I have started babysitting my little great niece. She is the same age as Grace. It has been an adventure. They are so stinking cute together. It is fun but kinda like having twins. They get into a bit of trouble oftern. They filled up toy pots with sprite Friday. I had sprite all over the floor. They also like to press the water dispenser on the refridgerator door and get wet. I have to keep a constant eye on them or they get in trouble. Speaking of trouble. The police came here yeaterday. He asked who called 911. Grace had been playing with the phone and I stopped her. I told Faron she could have called Hong Kong or 911, well as it turned out she did call 911.:scared1:I am going to do a update for all of you who have been waiting patiently. I hope you understand why I am late with it.:grouphug:

When we left Animal Kingdom we went back to the resort for a little while. We freshened up and headed to Downtown Disney. We had dinner reservations at T-Rex. It was easy to find and we didn't have to wait long. We had a table in this room. I am not sure what it is called.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2719.jpg
This is a picture of how Grace started out.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2716.jpg
She quickly changed her tune and it got ugly. She was quite a handful. I ended up letting her play with a butter knife. I know Bad Mommy!!! It kept her quiet. I didn't get the dinning plan on this trip for that reason. I remembered how stressful it was in table service restaurants with her on our last trip. It was pretty much the same this time. We only had a couple of table service meals but they all ended out stressful.
After dinner we went shopping. I went to Basin and Faron and Brennan went to the sport store. I found some things for Courteny. It is neat because you can pick out a basket and some things and they make it pretty for you. I also went to Once Upon a toy for some potato head parts to add to our collection. They had a sale. I got the box of parts for $13. The lady was so nice who worked there. She helped me fit alot in the box. I also got Grace some rubber princesses. They were baby toys and they were on sale too. 35% off. She playes with them everyday. We ended up getting the pooh set and the nemo set too.
When we got on the bus to go back to the room the bus family from that morning were on the bus with us again. When we got off the husband said, "I guess we will meet up tomorrow morning same time and same place." We all started laughing.
When we got back to the room Brennan played with Grace and taught her how to make her princesses fight. I was so mad at him. Typical boy for you.
Up Next.............. Day four Epcot again

Day 4 Epcot
We woke up early and headed down to the bus stop. Our bus family was there again. I had to laugh because the man had said the night before that he would meet us there same time and place tomorrow and there they were. We all started laughing. They were going to Epcot too. We compared plans and we had almost exactly the same plans as them for the whole week. We even had breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace for the same day and time.
When we got to Epcot after rope drop we hurried to Soarin. Faron got fast passes to ride later and I got in the standby line with Brennan. We only waited about 15 minutes and it went by fast. The family in line behind us was from a town by us. He was an OB doctor and he knew my doctor. We talked the whole time in line and it went so fast. When we got to Soarin I forgot to mention that Brennan noticed he had lost a pin he just bought. He was carrying Grace and it fell off. Faron went back to look for it while we rode. He found it and he took Grace to ride Nemo (MOMO) again.
When it was Faron's turn to ride Soarin with Brennan Grace threw a fit to go back on Nemo. Soooooooo I had to take her on it again.

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2724.jpg
We went to Turtle talk. Brennan met up with a teacher from his school. I didn't see her because he didn't tell me he saw her until later. I met a lady from disboards. She spotted my backpack and came up to talk to me. We talked and posed for a picture. She was from Louisiana too. (Big surprise, I know) They should name Mardi Gras week Louisiana week at Disney World.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2741.jpg
We got fast passes for test track and went to eat lunch at the counter service by America. Grace slept through lunch so she didn't eat. Faron wanted to go see the American Adventure because we had never seen it. I stayed with Grace because she was sleeping and I missed the show. Brennan stayed with me because he didn't want to see it. When Grace woke up I got her some lunch. After she ate we were waiting by the fountain in front of American Adventure. Grace was watching the ducks when she decided to lift up her dress. She told me "OFF get in" She wanted to take her dress off and get in the fountain.:rotfl2::rotfl2:
We walked through the countries. We went on the boat ride in Mexico. I picked a peral in Japan. Thanks for the tip about picking a pearl Disney Tiger. I let Brennan pick it for me and I told him to pick the ugliest one. He did and I got a 7mm pearl. The lady said that it was a big one and they are usually 4 to 5 mm. I was excited. I had it made into a pendant.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2748.jpg
We went outside and waited for the candy lady. I heard on the boards that if you stand in front of one of the three rectangles on the front of her cart you will get picked. We did it last time and this time and we were picked both times. Brennan asked her to make a giraffe.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2764.jpg
Faron got some icecream and Brennan and I rode the boat in Norway.

Continued..............
We just spent some time walking through the countries. We were enjoying ourselves.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2768.jpg
When we got to France I went into the bakery. I got Brennan and Grace chocolate chip cookies and I got a chocolate criossant (SP?) for me. Faron didn't want anything. We were having such an amazing day. We were walking out of Paris toward the bridge to head to the boardwalk. I was so happy. I was eating my criossant. I said, "This is just such a nice day." I no sooner got the sentence out when if was smacked in the face so fast I didn't know what hit me. I had water dripping down my face. :scared1:A seagull from the water flew right into my face.:rotfl2::rotfl2:
It scared the mess out of me. I can't even remember if I screamed. We just stood there laughing forever after that. It wasn't until I looked at the pictures that I realized that I wasn't holding my criossant anymore. I think the bird took it.
This is why you should be careful when tra la la laing through Paris.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2:

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2784.jpg
The stupid bird even scratched me under my eyelid.
We eventually made our way to the boardwalk. We went to Goofy's candy company there. I bought a big bag of Jelly Bellys for Courtney. I am so glad I bought this because it ended out keeping Grace happy for the rest of the trip. We didn't have much left at the end of the trip to take to Courtney because Grace at so many.
We went back to Epcot and and rode Soarin again with our fast passes. Grace got two more rides on Nemo and living with the land. We finished up at Epcot and went back to the resort. Faron went to the room and Brennan, Grace and I ate supper at the food court. I washed some clothes after supper while Brennan tried to swim. The pool heater wasn't on and he almost froze to death. I made him get out. He was mad. No wonder no one else was in the pool.

 I was beginning to wonder about you! I hope things start looking up for you.
I enjoyed the new updates! :woohoo: What a trip! The photos of Grace are so cute. :goodvibes
I have a similar seagull story from that same area of Epcot! They are wild! It tried to get whatever snack she had (this was 1992 or 1996 so I don't remember what), but it had its claws in her hair and she was NOT HAPPY lol. It didn't hit her in the face though! That is ....gross, freaky, and funny all at the same time! And now we know where you got the title!
And I have to tell you...you see my ticker in my siggy? That "road trip" is the trip where my DH and I get a moving truck and drive it from NYC to New Orleans!Yes ma'am, we're moving! :woohoo:

Tuesday Day five
Hollywood Studios
We got to the but bright and early that morning. Our bus family was there again. We just laughed. We had both planned our trips using Tourguide Mike and we had pretty much the same schedule as they did. We had fun chatting while waiting for the bus.
We made it to rope drop and rushed to Toy Story Mania. Faron got in line and I went to get fastpasses for later. The cast member let me catch up to Faron in line. We waited about fifteen minutes to ride. We loved it. I had to hold on to Grace when it took off because it was a little jerkey. She pulled her rope just like me. It was so cute. At the end of the ride she had zero points but she has fun.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2801.jpg
We Got fast passes for RNR. We rode TOT we waited in the standby line and only waited like ten minutes. We rode RNR and also waited in the standby line and only waited like fifteen minutes. We saved the fastpasses for later.

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2882.jpg
We did a few more rides and then headed back to our resort. I had cooked some meals before we left home and froze them. I brought our rice cooker from home and some paper plates. I thought our room would have a microwave but it didn't. I put some rice cooking and left Faron to watch it. I headed to the food court and warmed up our dinner in the microwave there, it was still a little frozen. I left Grace with Faron and Brennan came with me. I used Grace's stroller to put the food in. Grace is a pure cajun girl and she has to have her rice and gravy. When we got back to the room she was so happy to eat a home cooked meal. I had cooked smothered round steak and gravy to eat over rice and corn for a side dish. She ate a huge bowl. It really was nice to eat a home cooked meal and not have to fight with Grace at a restaurant. It wasn't any trouble at all. I cooked three meals at home for us to take with us.

If you want to copy the TOT picture for a scrapbook you are welcome to. I think it came out nice too. Faron also took a good picture of the castle that I had blown up really big. I forgot the measurments. I had it framed in a very facny frame at Hobby Lobby and I hung it in Grace's room. She wanted a princess bed. So I bought her a toddler princess canopy bed and did her room in princess. She is so proud.

I will try to post pictures for you later. I painted her room pink. The first paint I bought was wrong and I had to buy more. The second round I went to Home Depot and bought disney paint. It matched perfect. I am sure you have some beautiful shots of the castle you could blow up and frame. It only cost like $17 to blow up the picture at Walgreens. I sent the picture online to them and I had it in the mail in about three days. I bought a frame that was 50% off at Hobby Lobby. It was origianally $75 and I paid $37.50 plus the glare free glass and the cost of framing. I love it. I will take a picture for you when Grace wakes up from her nap. She loves her big girl bed, by the way.

You are so funny. :rotfl2:
It was kinda like a garter belt with a flower attached. It's the new thing. His mom bought it. For homecoming I bought the traditional flower for Courtney to pin on his shirt. Courtney was having trouble getting it so I helped. I broke the rose right off the stem. Courtney was sooooooo mad at me. Faron tried to glue it but it didn't work. :rotfl2: I think that has something to do with why his mom bought the garter belt flower for prom.
P. S. I loved butt bows:rotfl2:

me too! because if you had a really big bow it made your butt look smaller. I do miss the more feminine styles of the 80's. I enjoyed my shoulder pads and mile high hair.

We are in Gulf shores right now. I have a funny story for you. We told Grace we were going play put put golf. We told her she was going to hit a ball in the hole.. She said, "Grace play butt butt golf"
Courtney and Brennan got into an argument before we left and Brennan Called Courtney a butt hole. Of Course I corrected him. Faron was getting the camera ready and Courtney told him she wanted him to take a picture of her and Lance (her boyfriend) at the golf place. Faron told her yes. Grace tried with the best language skills she could to tell Faron she wanted to take her picture at the put put golf place too. This is how she asked him, "Daddy, Grace take picture with butt hole too." I could have smothered laughing.

That is so funny! Thank you for the laughs to start the day. Isn't is funny how the little ones seem to know how to say the things we don't want them to say at just the right time.

We were in Baton Rouge, LA. before we went to the beach. Brennan's baseball team played in the USSSA world series. This picture is one I will treasure forever. It brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. It was taken just after a tripple play that Brennan was responsible for two of the three outs. AWESOME!!! In all the years Brennan has been playing baseball I have never seen a tripple play.

Day 6 Magic King
We had breakfast reservations for Crystal Palace this morning. When we got there we met up with our bus family waiting outside. They had the same reservations as us. We laughed. They were so nice. I wish I could remember there name. Grace was acting like a brat. I don't even know if it is ok to call your kids that, but that is exactly how she was acting. She finally settlled down a bit. Here is her first picture with a character.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2899.jpg
The look on her face says it all. LOL She looks like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbs.
After breakfast we waited at the rope by fantasy land. This is what we saw.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2911.jpg
We decided to try to run to Tinks Treasure when they dropped the rope to see if Grace could wake up Tink. She was wearing her Tinkerbell outfit I made her. Well............ it brought us luck because we were the first ones to ask to wake up Tink. Grace got the honors.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2914-1.jpg
She had to ring the bell and tell Tink to wake up. It was cute and she got a certificate.
We rode Dumbo first. We HAD to ride the pooh ride. Grace had watched it on youtube everyday for a month and she was soooooo excited. When we got in line she kissed Brennan.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_2922.jpg
We rode it two times in a row. She would have rode it all day if we let her. We rode Peter Pan, Snow White, saw Mickey's Philharmagic and rode Its a Small World all before lunch.
We had lunch at Casey's.
We rode BTM three times after lunch. We did Splash Mountain. The longest line of the day was for the jungle cruise. We waited 20 minutes. It felt soooooooo long because it was hot and Grace was cranky. She was also heavy so we took turns holding her. We watched the parade after then visited Mikey and Minnie's houses.
This is when the meltdown happened................ Faron said that he really didn't want to go to DHS again. I had that on the schedule for the next day. He said we would come back to MK the next day instead. It was supposed to be a red day according to TGM. I planned all of it and he was trying to change it. When Brennan told me why I blew up. Faron wanted to cut a day off of the trip and go home a day early. WTH!!!! On NO! I changed his plan quick. We got into a little argument. I won.
We went back to ride pooh again and the line was long. We had to get fast passes. Grace threw a FIT!!! I took her to the playground across. She threw herself on the ground but she finally decided to play.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_3007.jpg
We had bonous fast passes for Mickey's Phillharmagic. We did both. We rode the monorail the train and IASW and POTC. We went to dinner at LTT. The food was horrible. I liked it last time this time the meat was very dry. We barely talked because Faron was still mad at me over my meltdown. Grace and Brennan didn't even eat. We were not on the dinning plan so it was a expensive meal that none of us enjoyed. We stayed for wishes and then we left.
When we got back to the room I called Courtney.
Side note..............
When we left for the trip the only thing we asked Faron's mom to do was feed the cat. She is just like Marie from Everybody Loves Raymond. You have to give her something to do or you WILL pay. She had the cat food in her trunk and the cat lives outside. She had NO need to come in the house. She offered to get the mail and we said no thank you Courtney will do that. Well................ When I talked to Courtney she said, "Moma, Mamaw is going crazy. She stole our eggs." We have some chickens and Faron's asked his nephew next door to get the eggs and see about the chickens. Well my MIL took it upon herself to help out by selling our eggs to her old lady friends while we were gone. She sold more than we had so she came in the house and took ALL of our eggs. She even went into our nephew's house next door while they were working and took there eggs. She kept calling our nephew, which is her grandson, at work to bug him for eggs. She called his wife at work too for eggs. Courtney said, " Moma, we better feed the chickens some Wheaties and tell them to put their game face on.":rotfl2::rotfl2: She said she needed to play the Chicken Song for them. :rotfl2: She also said we didn't get any mail that was weird because we had been gone seven days so far.
Up next Day 7

It was our frist time there at rope drop. We didn't see the opening show because we had breakfast reservations. But waking up Tink was priceless.

Faron told he but it goes in one ear and out the other. We often say she is at large and in charge. She is as good as gold in many ways but she doesn't respect boundaries. If we don't answer the doorbell when she comes she will go to the back patio doors and look in the windows. I had to put up curtains recently because we were tired of it and she NEVER call to say she is coming. I know we will miss her one day but she needs to learn to respect our privacy. She never has. On a good note she does anything we ask in a heart beat but then you can't get her to stop when you want her too. I guess she is lonely.

Hi we might have seen each other and never knew it. There was alot of LSU fans there. I think it is the best thing to escape mardi gras and go to Disney World.

Yes we got the money. We use the egg money to buy chicken feed. She is just an over anxious egg pusher. LOL She has hounded us so much. She gets crazy when her friends want to buy eggs and we sold them to someone else. If she hears my mom say she needs eggs she will jump in and say that one of her friends need them. I blew up and told all of them don't ever ask me about the eggs again. I will buy mine at the store. She can annoy the crap out of you when it comes to eggs.

Can you believe Faron's nerve. Like he would have got me out of there a day early. Maybe he would have ended out with two black eyes and a foot up his booty.
My MIL is just like Marie from " Everybody Loves Raymond " and faron is her Raymond. His family calls him the Golden Child. He is the baby and we live across the field from her. She is all up in our kool-aid. LOL!!!!!!!
