Cornell U in Ithaca NY - opinions please

My DS is thinking about Cornell U in Ithaca NY for the Hospitality BA degree.
He has B average in HS and will take the SAT's in June 2009.

Anyone go there ? Apply there ? Like it ? Hate it ?

I applied there! I applied to the College of Agriculture and Life Science for the Communication major. I'm still waiting to hear. I heard they start notification 2/1, so thus far I've made it a month without being denied! hehe. I'm not expecting acceptance but I will be thrilled if accepted. I visited and toured this pasat summer. The campus is lovely and the ice cream from the creamery is very, very good! If accepted, I will probably attend. My great-grandfather graduated from Cornell in 1927, so I'm looking to reconnect the family tradition.:thumbsup2
