We are going to stay at Pop in April :cheer2: and we can't wait. When I made the reservation I asked for bed rails, VIP cleaning and to be located near transportation due to medical needs. The person who took my reservation of course gave me the spill on how there is no guarantee for request, but he will put it in. He also told me that they do not have a way of entering into the system that a request is being made for medical needs. Should I call the special reservations department to make sure that they know or will this even help? Also is the number still 407-939-7807 option 1? Thanks for your help.

The current number is listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread in the post about resorts. Listen to the options because it is not necessarily option 1. They should be able to help you with the cleaning, which I assume might be for allergies. They can probably also help with the bedrsils although some people in the past just got those from Housekeeping when they arrived. Close to transportation may be just a request ( in the past people have been told that the expectation would be that people will make arrangements for a wheelchair or ECV if distance is an issue. ) depending on your resort, close to transportation may still be quite a distance.

I have always found success in room requests by phoning the front desk at the resort the friday before arrival. I did have to phone down to housekeeping this past visit for the bedrails, but they brought them right away! You can't beat the service at Disney!!

Hopefully you reserved and paid for a preferred room which will be closer to transportation-otherwise you could be in the closest room that's non-preferred, which can be quite a hike at Pop.---Kathy
