Inspired by a note about supermarkets on Mousesavers, I was wondering about opinions on which supermarket had the best prices, selection, bakery, deli and the freshest produce and meat, as well as the best prepared foods.

When we shop it's kind of hit or miss - whatever store we happen to see first that looks reasonable.

Probably not as close as you want, but I love to go to the Super Wal*Mart in Kissimmee. It's on 192 (Irlo-Bronson). Probably about 7 miles from Disney. It's a huge store with EVERYTHING (groceries, clothes, hair salon, one-hour photo developing, ticket booth, optometrist, etc.). Great place to buy Disney souviniers too! If you are on 192 go east and you'll find it. :p

As far as low costs combined with great selections, I have always prefered Publix in the past. We have always found everything there in great supply and experienced the greatest savings in purchasing items. Additionally in recent years, Super Walmart has been another good place to pick up a large variety of things at economical prices!

If you are up near Sea World at all, Super Target has a neat selection of produce, bakery, their usual soft goods and of course, a Starbucks!

Thanks for the info. We've been to both Super Walmart and Publix in the past - both were good. Maybe this time we'll try Super Target. I'm pleasantly surprised to know that they have a Starbucks since I have yet to find a decent coffee place in the WDW vicinity.

How do you get to Super Target from Sea World?
