NEW CODES Don't include Home away frome home?

I've been trying to get a res at BWVillas or BeachClubVillas with codes or discount rate- I've tried everything- AP thru current codes: looking to check in end of August.

Everytime I call they say not available- last year we got an AP rate at BWV for a 1 bdrm- not for much more than the current code rate for a std view room at the BWI!!! Right now i have a std room booked at BWInn w/code rate.

Anyone have any info/input on how to get a Villa room (even studio) discounted???? Since we have a 3yr old the kitchen facilities are great!

Have you checked into renting points from DVC'er?? We rented 156 points at $8/per for a 2 bedroom at BCV for end of Sept. Comes out to about 249 a night (no taxes paid for points).

I just quoted a client of mine a 2 bedroom villa at the Wilderness Lodge Villas and there was availability.

The problem with the Beach Club and BW Villas is that they are very popular.

I also think BW Villas are undergoing rehab, which may not be completed. For the onsite portion of our stay in August, I changed our reservations from Polynesian Concierge to BC (3 nights) and OKW (1 bdrm, 3 nights) because only studios were available at BWV.

I still call to check on availability of a 1 bdrm at BWV. So far, no luck.

I have a resv. at POR for 2 rooms with the new room only code but called to get a price at Fort Wilderness for a cabin which sleeps 6 and has a kitchen and the price I was quoted for 4 nights tax incuded was $617.00. My dh wants me to change our resv., but I have't yet decided. If we change we'll save $170.00.
