I am planning on making ADRs for 9 TS meals for our June trip (fingers crossed I get everything I want:wizard: )
Which of the following would you use your TS credits for and which 2 would you pay OOP?
Dinner
Chef Mickey
Whispering Canyon
Le Cellier
50's Primetime Diner
Ohana
Lunch
Crystal Palace
Breakfast
Tusker House/Donald's Safari
1900 Park Fare
Kona
(a little about us: my, dh, dd9, ds6, ds10months, first timers staying for one week on the basic dining plan)
Thanks!!

Breakfasts are almost always cheaper than other meals. Of the breakfasts you have, you can probably get out of Kona the cheapest. I think the character meals are about the same price, so I'd use the DDP on the first one I schedule and then pay OOP on the second. That's in case something comes up and I had to cancel one.
Of your dinner choices, 50s Prime Time is the cheapest.

I would pay OOP for 1900 Park Fare and maybe WCC or Kona. But I don't know how you eat. For instance, will you order drinks (besides water) and desserts or appetizers at the non-buffet places? Do you want the skillet at WCC or will you order a smaller meal?

would definitely pay OOP for breakfast at Kona -- the adults can get the "Big Kahuna" breakfast for $11.99...few dollars more for coffee or a soft drink, but around $15. And that's a fabulous breakfast - pancakes, french toast, 2 eggs, bacon, saugage, ham and breakfast potatoes! Wonderful. And there are smaller meals there too, in the $8-9 range. Certainly way less expensive than any breakfast buffets.
Personally, unless you really, really, really love big breakfasts I would not do any breakfasts with the table service credits...you will not come anywhere close to getting your money's worth. Also, if you consider what you're going to spend your morning doing after breakfast (running around a hot amusement park, movin' & shakin', twirling around, jerking this way & that, etc.) - do you really want a bunch of over-stuffed bellies?
 :scared: :faint:
Just a thought...

I know what you mean about being "over stuffed" from breakfast--2 of the breakfasts are buffets more for the kids to see the characters and have the experience and Kona we were going to do our last day, late (around 11:00) because we have a late flight out and I heard the Tonga Toast is to die for!
I figured we would do Kona and 50's OOP....probably the two cheapest meals, I just like reassurance!

Can't beat the buffets for characters -- great way to see 'em & get pictures without line-waiting for hours. And the last day breakfast - That's what we did (Kona on the day we checked out) Was a great way to say "good bye" to Disneyworld...the Poly is such a lush-theme in the main building where the restaurants are. The tonga toast is good, but it is very sweet...I'd do one order of it to split & also order some regular breakfast type foods like eggs & such. The Big Kahuna pancakes are the other Kona specialty - topped with pineapple & macadamia-nut butter. Also very yummy.

I would keep the char buffets on the DDP as you're going in June and they will have the "holiday" surcharge making them a better DDP value. I would choose either Primetime or WCC depending on if you're ordering from the menu or getting the skillet and definitely Kona for OOP. If your kids aren't big eaters you could share meals at Primetime with them and then let them get their own dessert to keep the OOP costs down. Sounds like some yummy meals!
