Can you book DL hotel w/o buying tickets?

I already bought my tickets to go to DL. I had not really thought about staying in a DL hotel but after reading some of the posts on this board have been contemplating it. I went to disney's site and their reservations came with tickets. I could not find the hotel just by itself.

DO NOT USE DISNEY'S WEB SITE TO BOOK YOUR VACATION!
The prices are really high! Yes...You can book hotels thru other websites like Expedia or you can call the hotel direct and ask for their best available rate. If you have AAA or a Disney Club membership, or an Annual Pass you can get discounts as well.

We booked our hotel (Disneyland Hotel) seperately and purchased tickets at the local Disney Store. We called Disneyland hotel directly and got a great rate (better than the package price would have been) I'm not sure when you are planning on going--we got a great rate for June.

We booked GC Concierge with their CRO, and the CM that helped us was really nice and didn't try to rush us off the phone!!

We couldn't decide, and as this will be our first time staying there since our honeymoon (lo these many moons ago), we were having trouble making decisions.

She helped out with everything, we gave her a list of potential possibilities for discounts (thanks Mary), and she told us which would be the best!!

We'll only be there for 2 nights, but saved so much that we've booked a room for my brother and his family.

We'll be getting passes on our own.

We booked the GH hotel alone by calling hotel directly. However I am buying my 4 day pass hopper on line, since they have a special for only $111, which I hear is a great price. (The CM at the hotel told me it was too).
