Been lurking here for awhile. I love these boards. You guys have helped me make so many decisions for our trip even though I've never posted. So, now I'm down to some tough ones. We'll be traveling to WDW Sept. 11-20 (hopefully free dining - if not, we'll purchase DDP). Our party consists of: me, DH, DS13, DS6, MIL and FIL. DS6 and FIL have never visited the mouse. We have never eaten at any of the restaurants I'm planning, except for Akershus in 2000. We were not impressed then but friends tell me it's better now. We love to try new foods and the kids are pretty adventurous eaters as well, although DS6 would probably live on chicken nuggets and fries if we'd let him. So, if I've made some huge mistakes here, please let me know. Also, I have one dinner I'm really unsure about. I have narrowed it down to three: Akershus (do they have characters at dinner), Biergarten, and Raglan Road. I just can't seem to decide. Could you guys give me your thoughts? Thanks.
Here's our general plan, though I'm not sure in what order, because I haven't been able to decide yet whether it would be best to take advantage of EMHs or avoid them altogether.
Arrive approx. 3:00 p.m. Friday 11th

Dinner at Sci-Fi (should I change this to lunch since it seems to get better reviews and CS dinner - DS13 really wants to do this one)
AK day
Breakfast at resort
CS lunch ?? (maybe Flame Tree)
Dinner at Boma (I am so looking forward to this one)

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
Epcot day

CS lunch ?? (everyone will probably just stop wherever something looks good, but suggestions are always welcome)
