AKV Standard Studio Vs. BCV Studio

I am planning a split stay in Sept. 2010. Based on this year's availibility, it seems AKV Standard Studio and BCV Studio would be available for a Fri, Sat, Sun stay. I have not stayed at either. Which would you choose and why? Only the hubby and I are going.

Tough choice, but I voted AKV Kidani. Reasons:
- It will be brand new
- I think the darker decor is romantic
- Nice restaurants in the hotel
- Great pool
- More laid back feel (IMHO)

I am a little biased because AKL is my home resort but we love it. Even without the kids we find it a perfect getaway. Our main reason is that it truly feels like no other place at Disney. Jiko and Boma are great restaurants and the spa is a great place for a couples massage perhaps. I choose Jambo house only for the convenience to the restaurants and main resort. Sitting around the fire or enjoying a glass of wine while viewing the animals is such a nice moment. If you have the extra points, CL is a wonderful treat as well.

I voted for BCV, which is my home resort. But for an Adults Only stay I think the Epcot Resorts area is wonderful. You have all of the restaurants of the YC/BC, Swan & Dolphin, the Boardwalk and the International restaurants of WS within walking distance.
The location can not be beat. You can walk to Epcot (our favorite park) and the DHS. There is the evening entertainment on the Boardwalk and you have the daytime pleasures of SAB.
What you do not have is an animal view from your balcony. On the other hand you have the peace and quiet of woods views.
I think the Epcot Resorts area is great for adults.

This is an easy one - BCV. Why on earth would anyone consider staying at AKV in a standard view??? I realize in Jambo that's a pool view, but so what! AKV is about the animals, so anything less than a savannah view is a waste of time (other than concierge).

BCV has location & the best pool. AKV has the animals....but only in savannah view. Without that, AKV standard is simply the worst-located dvc resort.
