View Full Version : Well........look what the tornadoes brought

In southern Alabama...........sigh....... Oh well, at least we'll be back to 78 by Friday, just in time for another cold front to smash into and make more tornadoes I imagine ~grin~

We got 8 WHOLE hours of sleep last night AND I got 2 bowls of food and 1/2 cup of yogurt into Brownie (wet only) before I had to give him the evil antibiotics.

hope the pup gets better and soon. it is always so sad especially when they can't tell you how they are feeling..

but, on the other hand i am glad we can share a little of our wisconsin weather with you. we never like to keep it all to ourselves. wisconsinites are very generous people :rotfl2: .

ACKK! Snow is evil...wet, frozen, miserable evil. Evilflakes. Evilsicles.

Brownie was less then impressed with this latest weather change. LOL!
He ran outside, barked at it, chased it, tried to bite it, ran back in the house,noticed snow on his back and ran around in circles trying to get it off! Hehehe, my poor pony.

I asked him a little while later if he wanted to "go outside?!" Which normally takes him running to the back door. He just kept laying on the couch, slicked his ears back and looked at me like "WHAT!? I ain't goin' out there. There's cold disgusting stuff out there--forget it."

I think the antibiotics make him feel worse than the infection, within 2 hours of taking them he just lays around all day. Once it's been about 10 or so hours-he perks up. So his new schedule is eat & play around 8am antibiotics at 10:00 AM, eat again and play around 8pm then antibiotics at 10PM. I can't believe we have 2 weeks of this :(

Thanks for the continued thoughts and prayers for My Little Pony and you Wisconsinites can come take your weather back pronto!

We been lookin at that stuff for 5 months now.

I've been look'n at it for 1/2 a day and I'm already sick of it.

just a question, where are you in SA? My parents are in Mobile but havent talked to them today so dont know how far south the snow is. just curious.

We got a little and most of it melted right away. It went from rain to slush to snow back to rain.

Wish we had something as pretty as that. I figure that will be it for the year for us and that was all we got.:sad2:

They're predicting anywhere from 8 to 14 inches here..and it's already started. :mad:
I'm soooo done with winter.:headache:

they got 14" last i heard at the milwaukee airport today. we are about 30 minutes north and got nothing. i am sooooo happy.. they can have it. we are in the belt that always gets the snow so we are so happy to share for once. :thumbsup2 .

High Saturday is supposed to be 80.....it can not get here quick enough for me!

We moved to FL last year to try and escape some of the winter weather- but tonight its going down into the upper 20's here!!!! I didnt think it got that cold in FL!!! Back in NJ my mom said they got almost a foot of snow over night and her pipes froze again! If there is one thing I can be glad of- its that its not -that- cold down here...

I love to look at the snow, maybe visit it... but I need warmth and sunshine... bring back my 80 degree days PLEASE!!!!!!

I had an epiphany.

All Winter long, I've said that I want one big, beautiful snow and then I want it to be Spring.

Now, Winter was not short, nor was it unseasonably warm, like I would have preffered. No, Winter is inevitable. BUT, I did get my wish. We never had anything but a dusting....until yesterday when we got a big, beautiful snow. This weekend, temps will soar near 70º! God does answer prayers, but not on your time frame!

We've had about 150" of snow here and I'm sick of it - sick, sick, sick!

You are brave to drive back in all that! Well, I guess you're used to it!

You know, I shoveled a path for my dog to go do her business in (she loved the snow until it got too deep), and DH asked me what people in Buffalo do? Do they even have dogs??? I told him that I didn't know......I would ask Al! Are the pooches just hardier in Buffalo? Do people only have big dogs? What is a pup to do???

i was laughin my head off at my pound puppy....i lert her out and she ran around like a kid ...chasing birds looking for food and I couldn't get her to come in!!
