We will be staying at the CSR from 6/2 to 6/8. I have a child with special needs. Is there a specific section at the CSR that is centrally located to the food court, bus station, main pool and quiet pool. I heard that the Cabanas was good. Any recommmendations ?

I think the Casitas are closest to the main building. There are also three bus stops. There's one at the main building so you may want to request being as close to this location as possible. You can call the resort directly about 3-5 days before you go, I think. I guess that would be today, huh? Good luck!

Try for 9b if possible. Very close to bus stop #1, close to the main building, a short walk across the bridge to the main pool and close to the quiet pool at 9a. That would be my choice but I don't know the specifics. I would make sure I called and let them know and fax your request in 5 days prior to arrival.

I also reccomend Cabanas 9b...
not only is it close to all the things above but also the beach that CSR has. It is small and you can not access the water from it (there are reeds blocking the water), however; it does have around five hammocks which are nice to take a break on!
Besides proximity to many things in the resorts, at night it is nice to look across the lake and see the casitas. (they look like a small town all lit up).
I also have a question.. maybe it is just me, but i don't think the beach at CSR gets much attention? Maybe b/c its not really a nice 'beach' but rather a large plot of sand? just curious about others' opinions.. (i rather like the 'beach'!)
