We're visiting WDW (with 4 year old daughter) this fall, and wondering whether it is possible to attend a taping of one of my daughter's favorite shows (Playhouse Disney). Any idea on where to get info on this?

I dont think you can see an actual taping of the shows on playhouse disney, however, you could call WDW and ask them directly. I think the closest thing to being on one of the shows or viewing it, is to attend the Playhouse Disney attraction and see if your daughter can get on stage with Big Bear.

I'm not even sure that they tape any of the PlayHouse Disney shows at WDW. I know that Bear In The Big Blue House is taped in New York and the only other "live" one is Out of the Box, the rest are cartoons. I'm not sure where they tape Out of the Box.

So I would say that this is probably not unless you get lucky with the Out of the Box thing. I would definately go and see the PlayHouse Disney Live show at MGM though!

You might want to see when PLayhouse Disney comes to your local mall. We did this, and believe me, it was a madhouse, but Vivian, Tony, and Bear were all there live, and the cartoons were puppets. Just thought Id add that info.

They don't really tape these shows at MGM. But they do have a stage version that used to just feature Bear but now had Bear, Pooh and friends, Rollie Pollie Ollie, and Stanley. All are puppets except for Bear who is a person dressed up.

You sit on the floorand the kids can dance around and have a blast! Don't miss it.
