I took my daughter to Aquatica today and it was the best time we had in Orlando this week outside of Discovery Cove. It is a great family park and after a week of standing in line at Disney it was very refreshing. Roa Rapids was awesome, we spent most of our day just floating and my 7 year old loved the Dolphin plunge........she actually loved everything we did. As for Discovery Cove.........it was the best day I've had with my child since she was born. The dolphin swim is priceless but what surprised me was just how great the rest of the park was. The tropical river was incredible. It was a cold day but the river is kept so warm you don't care. I almost had to drag my daughter out at the end of the day. I wouldn't hesitate to go to the park and do a dy without the dolphin swim. We are heading back to dreary Seattle first thing in the morning so I will try to post a better trip report when I get home.

Discovery Cove was amazing so I hope you enjoy it as well! If you haven't finalized your plans yet though I would recommend making sure that DC is in the middle of your stay. It was nice to have a relaxing day where there was no rush to go from attraction to show to wherever. It definitely took some of the stress out of an all park vacation. It was actually relaxing for once, lol.
