We have just about every type of solo trip traveler & family traveler group posting on this board. I would love to know where you like to stay most often. Of course, most of us would like to go Deluxe most of the time, but really where to you tend to stay most of the time that you do a WDW vacation?

DVC here - we own at OKW but haven't stayed there in a long time. Stay at BWV mostly. We do have OKW booked for December though :)

Although we'd love to stay on-site every time, we usually stay where we find the best deal. Of course, we have to take into account parking fees and time, etc etc.

We stay at the Poly (at least we have the last three visits). At the time our little one was 26 months the first trip, 3 the second trip, and almost 4 the last trip. The ease of the monorail and the GREAT staff (;0 David) does it for us - plus the property is amazing!

Well, we live here, but are also DVC owners. We love OKW and prefer to stay there most often. If it's the FWF we'll try for the BC.

We'll want to try AKLV, BLT, Treehouse Villas etc. as we do like to stay in all the DVCs.

We still like to stay in the resorts when there are specials. ::yes::

So, all that to say, we stay wherever depending upon the reason for our visit, and the length of time we intend to stay... :teeth:

Couldn't vote as you didn't really cover our option. :teeth:

Historically we have stayed at the values (see below). For our trip in April we are taking advantage of the Buy 4 get 3 free deal and staying at CBR. We usually get 2 rooms for us and our in-laws and it's just cheaper to stay at Value. It's just the 4 of us going this time so we only need one room.

We would LOVE to stay at AKL some time (we almost booked it for this trip, but then chickened out:goodvibes, one step at a time).

We have stayed value once, deluxe once, and this will be our third time staying moderate. For our family we like the moderates the best. We like WL when we stayed there, we just didnt think it was any better than the moderates. Thats just what works best for us, I think every family has different needs and expectations.

I've stayed at the Contemporary, Poly, SSR and then I just bought
a BCV DVC, but I'm booked for BWV in May and BCV in Sep. :beach:

AKV is the one for me!

At one of Marriott's Vacation Clubs. The prices aren't too bad that time of year.
I like to get away from Disney at night so I can recharge for the next day. We've stayed on site before and my partner loves it, but I can't take it 24/7.

I've only stayed at the Poly and the Royal Plaza. The latter was nice, but with the exception of having do-it-yourself Mickey waffle irons at the breakfast buffet, it definitely didn't have that Disney magic that the Disney-owned properties tend to have. It felt like we were staying in a Hyatt that was near to WDW, but not in WDW.

I've stayed at the Polynesian, Boardwalk, & Yacht Club.
This year will be at the Beach Club.
I want to try all the deluxes but I LOVE the Epcot resorts area too much so I don't think I'll ever try the rest.

At DL, it's the Grand Californian on my last 3 visits. I LOVE that place!

I live here, although I've stayed at the WL and Pop. :upsidedow

I choose Deluxe (Poly, GF) because that is where we have traditionally stayed, but we bought AKV last fall and will be staying at DVC going forward.

I am an odd one. I love staying in motels and hotels. It is just fun for me. Most of my trips to WDW I have had split stayes. I live in Californiaa so it is a daylong trip for me. I often do Priceline for arrival night and have stayed at some nice places. Then it depends on how much my budget is and who is going. I like to split between a moderate and a deluxe. Plus I want to try all the resorts. The trip in 3 weeks on of the 7 for 4 plan so I am doing it all at CSR.

We've stayed all over. From ASMu to DVC.

This next trip is a split stay between a few resorts. AKL here we come! :teeth:

We are happy to stay at any DVC resort in WDW - or at any of the 3 DL hotels in Anaheim.

We are DVC owners so we stay at our home resorts of Beach Club or Animal Kingdom, but have stayed at SSR.

Prior to becoming DVC owners we always stayed at the Beach Club.

We have stayed at a few places... mostly DVC stuff though.

Our honeymoon was a the GF... oddly enough, we were not impressed.

Otherwise, we have stayed at OKW and SSR and liked them both. We are big fans of OKW (except for those terrible plastic couches in the one bedroom units).

This upcoming trip, we will stay at SSR the first week, then BCV the second week. Looking forward to checking out BCV.

Our absolute favorite of all the DVC resorts is Vero. We love going there and doing nothing at all.

We usually rent a home, specially when travelling with young kids (most of the times). Other times we stay on site (Poly or Contemporary) when is just us "adults".

I've stayed in DTD hotels and the Moderates. CSR is my favorite place by far. The DTD hotels are roomier but you just can't beat staying on site and having free transportation from the airport, free fridge, EMH etc....

This trip, we're spending 3 nights at a Moderate (POR) and 7 nights at a Deluxe (GF). On past trips, I've stayed Deluxe once (WL), Moderate once (POFQ) and the rest of the trips were off-site.

For future trips, as much as I would like to stay at the Deluxe resorts (for the interior corridors, dining options, and room service, if nothing else), it will come down to what deals are available, and the state of our personal finances.

POP! Though I'd love to stay at one of the deluxes...or even a moderate...but I'm poor, so I manage my Disney fix the most affordable way possible. ;)

When we use DVC we love to stay at Boardwalk. Love to be able to walk to Epcot and the Hollywood Studios. We always use to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter, before we bought DVC. We also like the Swan. The Polynesian is nice, but we have only stayed there twice. We are waiting for Bay Lake Tower to open!

We are an AKL family by heart. We are going to stay at SSR next month and know that we will try this or that resort now and again for the change.

We are also very much in love with the Disney Cruise Lines...

My favorite resort is Port Orleans French Quarter. I love the atmosphere and the smallness of the resort.

Usually we stay off-site somewhere for free with various rewards programs, but this May we are doing our first on-site stay at POR! Very excited and hope to have a new favorite (though free stays are hard to turn down).

We usually do a split-stay and try new places, but we love to stay at the Beach Club. When we don't, we miss it.

My favorite resort is Port Orleans French Quarter. I love the atmosphere and the smallness of the resort.

I have to agree w/ Barbara. POFQ is def. the best! Its very romantic, families with lots of kids tend to overlook it b/c the pool isn't really anything special and its the smallest resort as Disney, so it is quieter then the value resorts. Its like a whole new world :)

I live locally now, but I own DVC so I stay there when I need an overnight, I've stayed at OKW and SSR for that. I enjoy both of them.

Before I joined DVC, I stayed at Contemporary, Poly, Boardwalk, Coronado and Pop. My favorite Disney resort is Boardwalk, probably because it reminds me of the Jersey Shore.
