Hi...just a quick question...does AKL and BC offer in room robes for use during your stay or do you have to have concierge level for that amenity? Marilyn:)

At AKL, the robes were not in the "non-concierge" rooms. I don't know about BC.

We had a two bedroom suite at BC last year and we had robes. They were sooooo nice!

The robes should definitely be found in the closets of any of the concierge rooms at the WDW resorts. If they're not, please call Housekeeping and request that they be brought up to your room. They are a lovely perk for being a concierge guest.
A few years ago the resorts began using the lighter, waffle-patterned robes, not the heavy, terry cloth ones. I actually prefer the lighter robes because they dry much quicker (I usually swim twice a day while at WDW, and I prefer putting on a dry robe for my second swim of the day). Here is a photo of the AKL Robes (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/janettwokay/vwp?.dir=/Walt+Disney+World/Walt+Disney+World+Suites/AKL+Two-Bedroom+Suite/Master+Bedroom&.src=ph&.dnm=Robes+%26+Crib.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/bc/janettwokay/lst%3f%26.dir=/Walt%2bDisney%2bWorld/Walt%2bDisney%2bWorld%2bSuites/AKL%2bTwo-Bedroom%2bSuite/Master%2bBedroom%26.src=ph%26.view=t).

Thought I'd quote the www.disneyworld.com webpage regarding concierge rooms at the AKL:
- - - - - - -
Concierge Service:
Some rooms offer concierge service which includes curbside check-in, robes, make-up mirror, turndown service, and lounge with continental breakfast, midday snacks, evening beverages, wine and hors d'oeuvres.

Janet 2K - I've been trying to look at many of the links your photographs today (because it looks like you've got some GREAT photos to share :) ) However, for some reason, it asks me to log-in and try again. Do you have any idea what login I need to view your pictures?
Thank you in advance for your help and all of your hard work with helping so many of us novice Disney-lovers plan our vacations!

We didn't have Bathrobes in our room when we stayed at the BC conceirge two months ago. Gee, I wish I had known to request them. I really feel that bathrobes should not have to be requested if the staff is on the ball !

When was in AKL concierge they had plain white robes. Each room came with two but you could ask for more. If you like them you could buy $22 robes down stairs.

We had 3 bathrobes in our room at GF. We had booked a garden view but was upgraded to a Lagoon view room, no consierge.
