Best time to do laundry at Pop Century?

We will be staying at Pop Century in September, and since Air Tran has a $15 checked bag fee, we were hoping to be able to cut down on the amount of clothing we bring so we can get by with carry ons only (or maybe one checked bag between the two of us). This would require us to do laundry once or twice on this trip. There will only be two of us on this trip, and we were planning to swim quite a bit anyway, so this shouldn't take much extra time out of our trip for laundry. I was wondering if anyone has discovered a time of day where the laundry facilities are not very busy.

We usually do it late evening or early morning (on the way for breakfast at the food court).

I usually do mine in the evening, after dinner while the girls are in the pool. That way I can keep an eye on them and on the laundry area as well. Doesn't seem to be too many people at that time either. I also like the idea of the morning. Great if you aren't going comando one day at the parks.

Thanks! Morning would work out great for me because I will be going with my Sister who is used to working 2nd shift, and sleeping very late. I will let her sleep in one or two mornings, and I will go do some laundry while I am waiting for her to wake up.

we found that both early in the morning and late in the evenning were good for us.

Just a word of advice about the POP laundry room. The Change machine is ALWAYS broken. I usually pack a mini M&M canister in my luggage full of quarters so I dont have to deal with it. :goodvibes

last yr. i did it while everyone was taking a midday nap, it seemed to work out good but the dryer took forever(maybe just a bad one)

Did it have an accessible lint filter that you could clean out?

How much Is the washer and dryer?. When you do Dry,does It usually take more then on cycle?
