OK, so when you saw the title of this thread I bet some of you thought you were about to read about my ability to purchase a new, exciting, piece of photographic equipment. :rolleyes1 Well, I hate to disappoint you all, but that is not the question she answered affirmatively.

Earlier this week, my princess: and I were at WDW for a few days of R&R without the kids. And during one evening visit to the lighthouse at the YBC,

while my princess: was seated on a bench,

I dropped to one-knee...

to ask my princess: to become my :bride:. And she said YES!!! :yay:

At this point, we have not set a date, or have decided where the wedding will take place. Right now, we are considering CT, NH, HHI, and of course, WDW.

The first thing I actually thought was about a proposal---not something camera related, so maybe I'm not too far gone when it comes to this obsession yet :goodvibes

CONGRATULATIONS---that's very exciting news. If you get married in The World, I think it would be your duty to invite all of your fellow DISers to experience it, you may end up with the best and most diverse set of wedding photos ever! :thumbsup2

Congrats! You know you just bought something much more expensive than photography equipment! But, oh so worth it. Wishing you many years of bliss!

(you know, it must be a female thing because when I saw the title of this thread, the first thing I thought of was a proposal. I guess that's how we're wired)

Congratulations, but you could have gotten a lot of good camera gear for the price of that ring.

Congradulations, my first thought was not camaera related but instead that you had proposed. Love the quick photo story of it.

CONGRATS.. My thought was that the ring was a great deposit on your future equipment carrier! Does she like large pocketbooks?

Once again congrats!

Congrats! I actually thought it must be a proposal thing at first, but maybe a camera thing... maybe I'm just "in touch with my female side"? :confused3 :lmao:

I love being married. It's a lot of fun as long as you've found a good one!

We did Romania for our honeymoon but I understand that's not for everyone. :teeth:

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Lori and I enjoyed a few laughs :lmao: :rotfl2: at the photographic suggestions.

BTW, when I upgraded last fall to a DSLR, I gave her my PnS so now she has the photo bug.
