DS is sooooo excited - Photo added

It is the county cross country race today and both my boys are running in it:thumbsup2 . But my DS2 is soooo excited:yay: :yay: :yay: he is 7 and it is his 1st race. The school only has 20 pupils so they have to be in the team from a young age. Oldest DS is 11 and feels he has a chance of getting in the top 10. He finished 17th last year so wnats to beat that.

The kids want to win the team trophy so much as they have won it for the last 2 years and they are the smallest school in their group.

Please send them lots of pixie dust. I don't envy them it is wet and misty outside and I'm just glad I'm not running in it.


Then DS 11 is in a country dancing competition tonight so he is going to be shattered (so am I):rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Our school won the team shield. Oldest DS had a brilliant race and finished
5th, DS7 finished 109 and he is delighted with that as it is his 1st race. There were 190 boys in the race so they did really well. DS's best friend finished 1st so we are so proud of them all.

Now we have the dancing competition lets hope they do well in that too:thumbsup2

thanks everyone. We're just home from the dancing. Overall the school came 4th. Oldest DS got 2 1sts and 2 2nds. So he is delighted, youngest wasn't in the team. They are now both just gone to bed absolutely shattered. The school also won a shield for best group dance:banana: :banana: :banana: . Not bad for a school with only 20 pupils:thumbsup2
