In 13 days we leave to see our daughter who is on the college program this semester at WDW. She is having a blast!

And she picked the right winter to leave Minnesota! (Of course, most winters are the right time to leave Minnesota.)

Anyone else going to see their CP student? Or have already gone?

We are leaving in 15 days to go visit my CP sister. I finally have a break from college to have a chance to visit. We're from NY, she also picked a good winter to skip out on.

My son is doing the Fall program and checks in on August 24th. We plan to go down 2 weeks after that to see him. :)

I am able to see her once a month so I was there 2 weeks ago and will be going again for Spring Break. Even though she worked all weekend, it was still great to see her even for the little bit.

Going to see DD next week and so excited. She was able to get two days off in a row so we can enjoy the parks together!

My daughter (20) and I are going down from 3/8 to 3/12 and hope to spend some time with my CP son (QSF&B, Mara Food Court, AKL). I drove down with him when he started (1/26) and then was in Lake Buena Vista for work the week of 2/9 so got to see him a bit then. Took him grocery shopping and such. He seems to be enjoying himself and is apparently very highly thought of at work (do I sound suprised??). He's been working 5 days a week and just under 40 hours - this week he only has 1 day off! His schedule is not yet posted for the week we are there, but I hope to at least get to take him to dinner and maybe go to a park of two with him. He has been a bit under the weather and I couldn't get our dr. here to call in a prescription, so he is going to Buena Vista Urgent Care center after work today. I'll let you all know how that goes!!!

His name is Dan. He has been working mostly days (like 6 am to 3 pm), but will likely be changing to nights. He has his own car so doesn't take the bus unless he has too. He lives in Chatham. Stop by and say hi to him sometime!

I'm from Minnesota, too!! So is one of my roomies!!! Who's your daughter?!?

A lot of families are actually coming in the next couple weeks, it's seems :) I'm actually back in MN right now, visiting family and friends. I got 3 days off in a row, which i heard is very rare for a CP so i took advantage of it and flew home.

for the record, it was nice to see everyone, but i can't WAIT to get back to FLorida :)

Happy visiting!!

I don't think I'll be too homesick when I do the program next year, because my family lives 3 hours away in Jacksonville, lol. And, we have a condo in Orlando.
