BLT tour - how do I arrange it?

How do I arrange a tour of BLT when I already have points?
Do I have to contact my guide? If so when and how is the best time?
I'm in WDW at the end of March and although I don't want any more points I'd love to see the new BLT rooms!

The BLT model rooms are at SSR. You can turn up without an appointment from 5 - 7 every evening where there are guides to answer your questions but you won't get hassled! We own at SSR but had a look at the AKL and BLT models without any question - we loved BLT - if only the exchange rate wasn't so bad . . . . . .

Oh I'm slightly disappointed. I'd hoped that the rooms would be at BLT but I don't suppose they've finished building there yet.
We'll be staying at SSR so I'll pop along and have a look. With the minimum purchase being only 25 points I must admit to being very tempted!

I'm pretty sure that the minimum for BLT has gone up to 100 points now :sad1:

Disney did put the minimum buy up to 100 points but then a couple of weeks ago put it back down to 25 points.
However looking at a thread on the main DVC forum I think 25 points may not be such a good buy. I'd need more points if I wanted one night in a one bedroom and there are no incentives so the price per point is $112.
On the other hand if I bought 100 points I'd have loads of nights and incentives..........no I must be strong and resist the urge!!!!

We swung by the sales center in december to drop off our christmas card for our guide - we introduced my Dad, told him any hard sell should be directed at him as he wasn't an owner yet and we all had a good laugh and a long catch up chat.

Our guide offered to show us round the BLT model and show my dad the AK one as he had not seen it - absolutely no pressure on us the whole time we were there - I told him I loved the BLT model and all he said was "when you're ready, no rush, when you're ready".

He also deposited us in the ice-cream parlour when we were done - I love our guide!!

We purchsed AKV without veiwing, we stoped at one of the sales centres in DTD and asked if we could view the models at SPR. It was no problem we got the boat over and looked at them the same day.
