still waiting for the "Ask Tracy" thread/sticky.

Tracy,

Yvet has been planning a van from the Swolphin to the ship. There are four couples confirmed. Before we go any further with these plans, can you ask the powers that be, have they thought of busing us to the ship? Just wonderin. Obviously, we'd be willing to pay. If not, we'll definitely be proceeding with Yvet's plan.
thanks!

We are working on both things you mentioned (an easier way to Ask Tracy and to find answers) as well as possible transportation to ths ship.

I know everyone is excited but please be patient as we work out details.

Hey Yvet - Tracy has been getting me info and we are still looking at options - nothing official has been discussed - still in the planning phases - we'll let you all know as we know more.

John, how long have you "known" us? And me in particular. Patience????? A virtue I just don't have in abundance. ;)

That is not to say we don't understand, and if you feel you have to do the occasional "Give us a break we have more things going on besides the Podcast cruise and do you remember the he double hockey sticks Disney put me through over the TSM meet?" we will try to be a little more understanding.

I agree. Planning is a lot of fun. Planning with over 100 of your Friends is even better!

Yeah, I've booked my parasailing excursion - early because I'm hoping nothing will be scheduled early on Castaway Cay Day - now I just need to know when the escorted tour of the Atlantis Casino is going to be. :rotfl: And every other event so I can book my massage and/or facial. :rotfl2:

You know I'm only teasing you because I've been packed for a year now... I have never been good at waiting for anything - remember that commercial where the kids can't sleep and then they show the dad who said he can't sleep either because he's too excited to go to Disney World? I'm already doing that and we are still 10 weeks out!

You all will think I'm terrible -- I don't start packing until just a few hours before we leave. I figure that gives me less of a chance to keep adding stuff I won't need! (See, there is a method to my madness!)

I do the same thing, but I don't think it counts because I do have "THE LIST"
which is day by day of what I'm wearing complete w/ jewlery and shoes.

OK, AskTracy thread..... I vaguely recall having heard something about a $50 "length of stay" kinda pass to the rainforest room or something... what the heck did I actually hear, how do I get it, and what do i ask for??

Feel free to laugh at me..... it won't be the last time you do that, I promise!! :)

I'll have to double check on the price, but it is a Rainforest Room pass. You go to the Spa anytime after boarding and tell them you want a Rainforest Room pass. They will put a sticker on your Key to the World and answer any questions you may have about where to go for the locker room, where the Rainforest Room is, hours of operation etc.

The rainforest room is a series of steam rooms and saunas. You just use it to relax (I even take a nap). It's one main room with saunas and steam rooms connecting inside.

Hello askTracy and everyone!

I'm sitting here thinking what to do in Nassau. Any recommendations? I've read on DCL.com about the excurssions you can do at the Atlantis. But if I didn't want to do that, is there shopping close by? Is it possible to do both? The Atlantis and shopping? What have some of you all done in the past?

Thanks a bunch!

I have never been to Atlantis, but shopping is very close to the port. If you want to do a lot of shopping, I would say it would be difficult to do both, but it will be hard to do no shopping just walking through the terminal.

It's me again.....

We are flying in from Houston the morning of the cruise. When we check our luggage in with Continental Airlines ( in Houston ), do we need to pick up our bags when we arrive in Orlando, or does Disney take pick them up and take them to our stateroom?

When it's time to go home :sad2:, does Disney take our bags to Continental Airlines for us?

This all depends on whether or not you have Disney transfers. If no, you need to take care of your own luggage. If yes and you tag your luggage with the tags you'll receive from Disney, you will not have to pick up your luggage. After your cruise, you will likely be able to check your bags through to the airlines onboard (if you are flagged by the airline to be checked later, you will have to pick up your own luggage.

Got it! Thanks Tracy! I did pay for the ground transportation so my bags should be taken care of from the sounds of it.

I see there are a few questions here that I have not answered. Please post the questions on the general thread as I am monitoring that frequently. Also, if you have questions about your reservation specifically, email me. As John stated on the first page, we are working on something for answering questions, but in the meantime, please post the questions on the main thread for the podcast cruise (the one on the Podcast Forums). Thanks!
