New Room Only Codes Anytime Soon??????

I'm waiting...............for room only codes for April 16th. Anyone heard rumors? I have a 4/3 package, but really want only 4 or 5 nights (DH doesn't want to stay 7 nights). I have to pay the remainder tonight!!! I did not get any other deal/codes. I'm thinking of cancelling, but don't want to. Hopefully a miracle will happen today. Wish me luck.

The next room only code most likely will begin on Sunday April 19th. Generally the entire week after Easter is blackedout and the next phase of codes begin on the Sunday after.

Also the most recent release of AP discounts start on April 19th, so I'm pretty certain that the next round of GP room only discounts will also start with checkin on April 19th.

THe current AP discount on value rooms are $64 for weekdays and $74 for weekends. I expect the GP rates to be just slightly higher -- maybe $5-$10 more a night than AP rates. Check mousesavers to see what the current AP rates are for your time frame and allow at least $10 more a night to get a ballpark figure.

I called last night. The CM told me pretty much what you said here. Sunday after Easter rates go down. I may be able to save on the 19th & 20th of my stay. I guess I'll wait & see what happens. I have tentative ressies with the Swan & Dolphin for the teachers rate. $169, an awesome rate!! Wanted ME, that's the only drawback.

Last year the room only discount came out on 3/27 and it was $84/night for value and $139/mod. Not sure if deluxe was available. I just hope they come out with something. Since the 4/3 is offered during this time they may not....Fingers crossed they will.

Although, $139 does not look much better than my current AAA discount, once you add taxes in. I'm paying $144.50 weeknights and $153 weekends.

They should come out soon. They typically follow AP rate releases. And, since those were released the middle of February, I'd expect the general code to come out anytime now. Here's hoping it's really soon! :goodvibes
