DCL/DVC were nice enough to forward an official letter (on fancy cruise line stationary) to us stating that our September 22nd cruise has been updated to include a stop in Freeport. I was glad to see they we actually notifying us so early of this change to the itinerary. Of course these boards pointed out the change a couple of weeks back :)

Hey Scottie, when did you get your letter? I didn't get one! Does it say anything else interesting abut our cruise?

Ok, someone posted about the Sept 9 cruise and now you are letting us know about the 22nd. (Thanks to both of you!) I'm in the middle, on the 15th, and have not heard anything yet. I wonder if this is going to be all 4 day cruises or if they are going to do the every-other-cruise with the new itinerary. We'll see. Thanks for the heads up!

According to the letter (that I received in the mail yesterday) it notes that Freeport stops will continue on select 4 night cruises through May 18, 2003. The letter goes on to state that the stop in Freeport will occur every other week. Nothing else other then some filler info in the letter. Oh wait one other part at the very end. The letter says "...If you would like information on four-night voyages that will continue to feature a day at sea, please contact Disney..." I guess this is the subtle way of Disney saying if your not happy with the change please speak with Member Services about changing dates to keep the day at sea in the Itinerary.

I called DCL a week or so ago and I found out that our cruise will now include a stop in Freeport, also. I was calling about something else and the person on the phone mentioned it. They sent me a new confirmation with the Freeport stop included.
