weather in fall?

i know this is probably overkill on this question but how is the weather (especially water temps.) during the times of the fall fantasy dates... 8/31/02-10/19/02 and 11/30/02-12/14/02??

WE've been to wdw several times on fall fantasy in September. The weather has always been very warm (80's) and sunny. When it rained, it only rained for a short period of time and then the sun was out again. Water temperatures were great. Very refreshing in the warm temperatures.

It is still warm like cinmell says. Just a little tid bit of information though, it is still huricane season till the end of Nov. It's not like you are going to be going through a hurricane, but there is still the chance of the ship being diverted. Also remember school is in during this time, so I would think there would be less kids on board.

The weather should be ok. We have gone in the first week of September, and then Thanksgiving week. We have always been lucky and had terrific weather. And of course coming from Iowa, we have never thought it was ever cold no matter what time of the year we have cruised.

We sail in those timeframes every year and have had incredible luck...no rain at Castaway Cay, and always warm enough to swim. Of course, I know that it can be chilly and that we could run into a hurricane, but so far we've sailed with pixie dust every year since 1998.
