Choosing between these 3, where do you think WDW makes the most profit?:
Theme park operations, Resort operations, and Dining Plans

I think it goes like this, from most to least profitable ( ...of these 3. I do not mean that I think theme park admission is the least profitable of all WDW revenue generators, just of these three.)

1)Dining plans
2)Resort operations
3)Theme park operations

Absolute biggest profit margin: ticket add-ons like no expiry and park hopper
Absolute smallest profit margin: pay-for cruises like Illuminations and Pirate Hunt Treasure

With knowing very little about any of their budgets, I'd have to guess dining plan is most profitable. The fact that they don't have to pay minimum wage to the majority of workers (thinking servers here) is my main reasoning. LOL!

Dining doesn't have the huge fixed costs of the theme parks and the hotels.

Obviously has some fixed but not the the extent of the other two.

Food is such a huge markup. I have an uncle who is a chef in Kansas City. He says the mark up on food can be 100% and up. So I would say the biggest profit in relation to expense would definately be dining.
