17 days to go!!!

We have just 17 days to go before our next SSR vacation. Is anyone there now or has been there recently? I understand that the main pool will be under renovation while we are there. Is there anything else going on at SSR that I should know about?

Had to join in this as we will be there about then too!! What do you think the chances will be that they will reopen the pool sooner than expected? We are there until the 29th. Gosh I am sooooo excited that its coming up so quickly!:cool1:

Small world isn't it. We start off at OKW then move to SSR. The pool is the only thing that I have heard about.

We'll be at SSR soon too. Do you think since they are closing the main pool, that the hot tub will be closed also?

We arrive at SSR in 10 days - the day before the pool is scheduled to close. I plan to bring my laptop with, I'll give you all an update.

We leave for SSR in 2 weeks. High Rock Pool closes on the 9th and won't open again till the end of the month if I remember correctly. We love to play tennis, rent a surrey bike and watch movies at the pool. MS told me that she thought they would put the movie screen up at the Grandstand pool instead. I love the walk to OKW in the morning and to DTD in the evening. Although we go to the beach at the Poly to watch Wishes and the electric water parade at least once, we spend most evenings just wandering. No parks this time!

Awesome! :worship: That would be great! We actually requested the grandstand area based on info on these boards. We arrive around 11 p.m. so I doubt we will get any requests especially now that everyone knows the main pool will be closed. Its our first time at SSR and the dds were really looking forward to such a cool pool. Have a great time!
