Woo hoo!!! I'm so excited that we're in the 60's as far as our countdown. It seems like only yesterday we were still in the 100's.

Sometimes I feel like a meanie, but I know we all do it!!! :rotfl2: but I used to be the person whose trip was SO far away that now I smile when I see that I'm going before many people are.

On the flip side, I'll be back home mourning the end of my vacation and they'll be counting down to going to theirs! LOL

We can't wait, but then again, we can :) ....I really enjoy the anticipation, and the planning ...I know that all too soon, that dreaded "return" home flight will be looming on the horizon :( This trip, my hubby has told me will be his last, as He's of the mind "seen it once/twice within 2 yrs, he's seen enough".... Whereas, I LOVE WDW :lovestruc ....

I think those feelings are so special because I am sharing them with my family....don't know how a WDW trip would be without hubby there, so we'll have to see if we plan anymore trips when we come back. It may end up being my sons and I and a couple friends...or perhaps inviting our niece and nephew along next time. I think FAMILY TIME is what makes it so magical! Sorry this ended up being so long, reminicing about the return brought all those thoughts to the forefront :sad1:

Although I dont have any children... I really enjoy the anticipation and the planning as well... i always cry on the DME bus back to the airport.. and sadly my dbf says this is our last trip.. (Unless i can convince him to get married in WDW:lmao: ) He's def. has seen enough.. and wants to start travelling to other places.. whereas, I am in love with WDW just like you... and i'm thinking all my future trips will be with a bunch of girlfriends or with family.

That sounds like a great trip! I would really like to do a cruise and I like the idea of a shorter cruise plus a week after at WDW. I just booked our Aug trip and we're staying at GF which will be our first deluxe stay:banana:

We are going on a Land and Sea vacation from Oct. 29th to Nov. 5th. We are driving down though so our vacation will be 2 days earlier and end 3 days later. (Plan on making side trips on the way home). Still a long way off, but I think I'm more excited than my 4 children! (although my 5 year old asks every day, "How many more days?")

I totally agree. My last trip (on my honeymoon) me and my DW saw Wishes for the very first time on the last night. That walk down Main Street was tough, we were both tearing up due to it being the end of the last day as well as Wishes.

It's always sad to leave Disney, but when I get back I always just start planning my next trip.

We are heading to WDW on Remembrance Day for three nights at our home resort of Bay Lake Tower, followed by a 7-night Western aboard the Disney Magic, with two stops at Castaway Cay.

This cruise will be our 2nd of 2009... we were on the Feb 28th Eastern to St. Croix, and joined DVC onboard... our incentive was a free 7-night cruise, so we get to go again, this time for DW's birthday.

I used aeroplan points for the trip so going from Toronto (we usually save money and drive to Buffalo, so looking forward to cutting that part out and only driving 20 minutes to the plane!).
