Things are finally looking up for us!!

Some of you may know that my dd and baby Charlie fled domestic violence from her then partner in Manchester( this had been going on since she got pregnant and carried on even to the extent of happening in the hospital ward behind the curtain after she gave birth :mad:and we knew nothing about it:headache: ) at the end of November and came to live with us.
We have a 3 bed house and with 5 of us and a baby it has been quite cosy to say the least...:crowded: so today she has heard the news that she has been accepted to rent a brand new 2 bed house!! So she and we are so over the moon :banana:
Also after having my hospital post- op check-up yesterday-everything is fine and my back is at the stage of recovery that it should be at- i can now go back to work after being off for the past 3 months!! :banana:

Gosh it must be tough! Glad things are getting better.
I remember 15 years ago, staying with a friend who had kicked her violent boyfriend out the flat,to give her support while he was battering the door non stop, she knew she would let him in if she was alone, It was awfull I was terrified.I cannot imagine living that hell. Makes me glad Ive lenny, I should stop needling him for being a sap!

we've all had a tough 3 months, as just after she came here, i had my back op 3 days later, so we all have been under a lot of stress and strain, but its now turning around for the better :)

Great news Netty, have you got any new pics of Charlie? I bet he is big now!

He's now nearly 8 months old and so happy and contented, even though he is still teething-no sign of a tooth yet though! our house is like toys r us!! i'll take a photo and put it on here. I am doing child development on my degree course, so having him here at the moment is helping with my essay!!!!
