... And there's something in my address bit saying 'Royaume Uni'.... It's where the County is normally on my address. Am I being really thick and this means something obvious, or should I call them about it?

I didn't do French at school for long (Did German instead- I'm terrible at that too!).... It just threw me 'cause the rest of my address was in English! :lmao:

When I booked I saw that too and had to Google it to find out that it meant UK!

To those of you that speak a bit (or more) of French, how do you pronounce Royaume Uni?

Yes, I think you're right. That's the way I would have pronounce it.

I did French in school (50 million years ago) don't remember much.

Like others it's from years of being forced to watch Eurovision as a child that I remembered it.

Thank you both, will try saying it when we are there next week and see if i get laughed at.
My French accent tends to be a bit Devon.

I can still remember my French teacher at school telling me to watch my Devonshire ess's!

Sorry for laughing - I too remember this from the eurovision!! Though I did already know it from school :0) It's actually a silent R and pronounced with a "y" sound at the beginning, with a french sounding accent it's "y-oh-manie" Bit hard to write with a french accent LOL!

Watch out for the Eurovision song contest and it's normally followed by nil points!! LOL!
