Having been forced (!) to book Leisure Select as the Eurostar part of our journey on Friday (we change at Lille), what should we expect to be served as a three course meal? Would this be breakfast or what???
Our train is at 7am if that helps...

When we went last month, it was a breakfast. If memory serves me right, the food consisted of:
croissant with jam, then cooked breakfast of a sausage, a few potatoes, a tomato and a small omelette.
There was also tea and coffee available, as well as an orange juice which was with the food.
Hi, i went oct 2008, we had leisure on the way, much prefered leisure but for some reason on the way was cheaper than standard class
we left at 9.01am and the same breakfast as ukstitch said above, it wasnt to bad they also kept offering us drinks hot and cold:)

Thanks both of you, this very helpful indeed, and good to know that not being able to pick up sandwiches (as we usually do) at St Pancras is not going to be a big deal at all!
Presumably DD will be offered vegetarian sausage or something instead?

I'm not sure about the vegetarian food - it's certainly available but I'm not sure if you were meant to request it when booking the leisure select or when the food comes round.
I know somebody on this board has had the vegetarian option so hopefully somebody will be able to advise.

When I booked they asked if we required any vegetarian dishes. I think if you want this you have to pre order at least 48 hours before you go, just ring eurostar up and go to customer services

DD is showing as 'vegetarian' when I add her to the booking, so I think we'll be okay there :thumbsup2

Bit tricky consdering we've booked less than 48 hours in advance, but hopefully since DD showed as vegetarian when I booked, we should be okay
Edit to say I just clicked the link in the booking confirmation email and DD is definite;u showing as havig a vegetarian meal!
I'm down for a standard meal.
