Yes, I turned 40 at Disneyworld and had friends, family and Disboutiquers there with me to help celebrate! party:
Let's start the good old-fashioned way with some intros!

DH: 39 (for another month anyway) a converted Disney freak, although he denies it. I think buying your OWN passport at Epcot and enjoying every minute of getting it filled, and telling the kids they can’t touch it just MIGHT be a sign. Loves pin-trading and Ohana, HATES spending money.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/IMG_0846-1-1.jpg

Me: TURNING 40 and no better place to do it than at Disneyworld! A proud Disney freak and Disboutiquer, meaning I LOVE making custom Disney clothes for my kids to wear on our Disney vacations! This was my 3rd trip to Disneyworld (First time was 2001, when I only had 2 kids, second time was January 2008). Yep, back so soon, couldn’t help it! I love Princesses and Mickey, Chip & Dale, character meals, Wishes, I hate crowded busses and tour groups.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/DSCN4054-1.jpg

DD11: LOVES Disney, I think as much as her mother. She doesn’t think she’s too old to act like a little kid, thank goodness. She really loved Pal Mickey this trip and carried him everywhere with her. She had so much fun with him and loved everything he said. We managed to get all excited every time he knew exactly where we were. Yes, we’re like that. Loves: princesses, BBB, fast rides Hates not being in charge of our touring plan (not that we have one).

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyland%20October%202008/IMG_2021-2.jpg

DS9: Also loves Disney, is a big fan of Walt. He loves trivial facts and info about Disneyworld. He’s a great kid, but has challenges that can make travelling difficult at times. He loves: fast rides, figment, Walt Disney, video games and arcades, Cosmic Ray’s hates: oh where do I begin? Not getting his own way, personal space invasions, especially at meals and especially by his siblings, and apparently Pinnochio’s Village Haus, but we’ll get to that later.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/TR%20photos/IMG_0837-1-1.jpg

DS6: Very calm and easygoing—WAIT, I mean usually. This trip he was bouncing off the walls with excitement and energy. I don’t know what got into him, but I don’t think letting him drink Coke helped. The other side of that is he also got very tired at times and we ended up renting a stroller for him! :scared: Loves: Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain…yes there’s a theme here. Oh, and Tessa. :lovestruc More on that later too. Hates that he was still too short to go on Rockin’ Roller Coaster and in a new development, hates walking. Running, yes! Riding in a stroller, yes! Walking? Not so much.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/DSCN4465-1.jpg

DD3: The best traveler ever. She never complained and never even cried until several days into the trip when she was so exhausted she took to crying for about 10 minutes every evening before passing out asleep wherever she was. How is it that the 3-year-old is the easiest child to travel with? She also loves everything Disney, especially princesses, and rides. She begged to go “in the big ball” (Spaceship Earth) and on the magic carpet ride. She kept calling Disneyworld Disneyland no matter how many times we tried to correct her. She is always game to try anything. Hates: being pestered by her brothers and waiting while we go on rides that she can’t go on yet.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/DSCN4488-1.jpg

At some point we will be joined by my:

DSIS: like me she grew up going to Disneyland often and anything Disney feels like home.
DBIL: Like DH does not admit to being a Disney freak, but trust me, he is.
Dnephew8: Best of friends with DS9, kind of quiet, a true Disney fan. Loves all things not girly.
Dniece 2: Full of life, energy and…noise. She is LOUD and very much a princess who loves “Mi Mouse” (works for either Mickey or Minnie) and all princesses (“Lella”).

(My family and my sister’s family were also staying at POR with one of my children “technically” staying in her room, in case you wondered)

And my
DF (dear friend)
DFH
DFDD 11 (aka DDBFF)
DFS 7
DFS 5

Got all that? It was their kids’ first Disney trip and they stayed at the Poly. :cool1: Maybe I can get them on the Dis and posting some photos of their own!

And THE DISBOUTIQUERS!
A group of 13 of us and our various traveling companions who met up in the World. We have a great thread on these boards and are actually a pretty close group of friends so it was fun to meet some of them IRL!

And now for the reason behind our trip, sometime last summer I started planning for a family vacation to celebrate my big 40. :scared1: Where we live, winters are cold, and February is often grim so I wanted somewhere warm! We were thinking Hawaii but having lots of problems with the planning (couldn’t narrow down a place to stay, airfare was atrocious, and on and on) my good Disboutiquer friend Heathersue was planning her trip to be at Disneyworld February 3-10 I believe. Well, I got jealous and told her it wasn’t fair that she got to be there for my birthday (almost, my birthday was the 11th) and I didn’t! WAIT! Why not! I could go there for my birthday and even meet Heather and her mom and her kids! (But not her DH who is a Disney Hater). Now this was kind of a big deal, because my DS6 is somewhat smitten with her DD5, and vice-versa. They even send each other letters and packages in the mail. How fun would it be for them to meet in person! Let the sewing begin! (or not, I’m kind of a procrastinator). Eventually my BIL started looking into joining us, and when the buy 4 get 3 free deal came out, who could say no? Our friends and neighbors were planning to go around the same time so we convinced them to join us. Their kids are similar ages to ours and get along very well and play together often. In fact my DD11 is best friends with their DD11. Eventually many Disboutiquers jumped on board, some for family vacations, others for a weekend getaway but the big gathering was planned for February 8.

Next up: Day1 Luke and Tessa Meet at Last!

ETA: (yes, just to rub it in) Florida's Weather today: High temp 69 degrees, Precipitation, 0.

It is a long way from our house to Mickey’s East Coast digs, so in order to arrive in Florida before bedtime, we had to get up and leave very early in the morning. I had everything pretty well packed and DH had loaded the car, so I got up and showered and loaded up the kids and we were off to the airport. Fortunately it wasn’t snowing so our commute to the airport probably took about 25 minutes. We have this traveling with 4 small children thing down to a science pretty much. We’d checked in on-line and already had our boarding passes. DH drops the rest of us off curbside at the Skycap who take our luggage directly from the car, (even though the poor guy had some sort of cast on his foot) and don’t even bother weighing it (thankyouverymuch!) and we are off to security while DH parks the car. By the time he gets to the airport we are safely through security and eating breakfast at Burger King. My kids do pretty well with getting shoes off, lining up bins, helping the siblings get shoes back on, etc. and we made it through in a pretty organized manner.

Our flight was completely and blissfully uneventful. The kids were great, they played with the stuff in their backpacks, DD11 indulged DD3 with some serious Princess Barbie playing and all were happy. It was about a 4 hour flight, then we had about a 1 hour layover in Atlanta where we grabbed lunch at my least favorite food court, :sad2: and then another 1 1/2 hour flight to Orlando.

not sure which airport this is::confused3
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3622-1.jpg

The Orlando Airport monorail:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3623-1-1.jpg

When we arrived, we marched, straggled, whatever to the ME counter which all went well and before you knew it, we were on the bus! Where we waited…and waited…until it filled up.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3624-1.jpg

The kids were getting pretty anxious to get going! Then of course our bus had to make about 8 other stops on the way to our hotel. :headache: During this very long bus ride, my cell-phone rang. It was Heather!!! :cool1: We had plans to meet up later at DTD. I let her know the whole ME experience was taking a long time, but we were on our way! We got to the hotel and DH took the kids to the arcade while I checked in. The check-in kind of took the wind out of my sails so to speak. It was a little deflating. :sad1: I think the girl that checked us in was fairly clueless and took FOREVER with every little step or question I asked. The hotel was really full and she assigned me to a room in what was possibly the worst location ever. She did the car-salesman thing and “checked with her manager” for 15 minutes then said, nope, nothing better. Then I told her my sister was checking in later and we had requested adjoining rooms because one of my children was staying with her. WELL, that took about another 25 minutes but she did get us rooms next to each other and miracle of miracles our new room actually was in a better location than the first room! (but not by much). We were in room 3414 which is 4 miles from the main building but right next to the West bus stop, so that was okay. It was 4 miles and a boat ride to POFQ for the pool because the POR pool was being refurbished. We ended up not getting any mugs because it was just so far to the food court, we knew we wouldn’t be walking there every day! If you have stayed at POR before, you may know that in the Alligator Bayou, the pathways can be very confusing. Everything is circular, the best route is not the route that is marked with signs, and one missed turn and you could be wandering (in the dark) for half an hour. Not that I’d know anything about that…but it was nice being so close to the bus stop.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/PortOrleansMap-1-1.jpg

We dropped off our carry-ons in the room and went back out to walk all the way back to the main building and the boat launch for the ferry to DTD. Unfortunately we didn’t make it on the boat that was loading and had to wait for the next one. However, because the ferry was so busy, they were running no more than 10 minutes between boats. I called Heather again (on DH’s phone because I left mine in the room) and let her know we were finally en route to DTD. When we arrived the kids were racing to our meeting spot (McDonald’s), especially Luke who was SO EXCITED to meet his Tessa in person! :hyper: Heather and I were unsure of how they would act when they first met, but we needn’t have worried, they got along very well (too well at times, but more on that later…) Heather and I were so intent on capturing their first meet on film that it was a minute before we even greeted each other. It was funny because I felt like I was just getting together with an old friend that I see all the time!

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3627-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3630-1.jpg

McDonald’s was really busy and we couldn’t find a table for all 10 of us, or even 2 tables near each other, so we settled for a table that would comfortably seat about 5. I somehow missed getting a picture of this! :confused3 Heather’s mom was such a good sport. Kids had to climb over and around her to get in and out and I was practically sitting on her lap. The big kids were at one end of the table chatting away, telling jokes, and getting along great. Sawyer and Lily were wedged in between Heather and myself in 2 high chairs. I think there was occasional confusion as to whose Happy Meal was whose, but no one was complaining. When everyone had eaten enough we moved over to the Lego store to let the kids play for a bit.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3640-1.jpg

DH chose this moment to run off and leave me in a crowded place with 4 children. He had a good excuse though. We had forgotten a cell-phone charger. Our phones take the same charger so we had hoped to pick one up somewhere. I asked my not so lovely front desk girl at the resort and she, of course took 20 minutes to “go check” but informed me that “there is NO PLACE ON DISNEY PROPERTY TO BUY A CELL PHONE CHARGER!” Um, are you sure? Not even DTD? “No, I’m sure, I checked with my manager.” Well I noticed a Virgin Megastore at DTD and told DH to try there, (I just didn’t mean run off and go by yourself, leaving me to supervise 4 small children at DTD on a Saturday night) and BTW they DO have cell phone chargers at the Virgin Megastore.

The kids had fun playing Legos with Sawyer and Tessa. Finally it was time to head back to our rooms and get some rest. It had been a long day! I was operating on 3 hours of sleep! It was SO fun to finally meet the Heathersue clan in person! She is even more gorgeous in person and just as nice and funny as ever. Tessa is so cute and so much like Luke! And Sawyer is adorable and was so well behaved. Heather (and Teresa) have a wonderful mom who reminds me a lot of my mom. We went our separate ways and we took the boat back to our resort and to bed!

LOL!! I love that Mike had his own passport that the kids couldn't touch!

You should post a picture of you and your good buddy Jimmy Fallon! Pictures do not do you justice, Jeanne. I always thought you were pretty in pictures, but you're just beautiful in person!

I LOVE that picture of Jayden!!!! She looks beautiful (as she is).

Seth was a great kid! I really liked him!

Oh, Tessa's sweet little Lukey. She told me to type "I love you and all the mountain rides, too. I like the Haunted Mansion, too."

I just realized that Luke and Henry have very similar eye colors!

I LOVE that picture of Lily!

I love that you're my security savant sista!

I like that included a map for those of us that have never been to that particular resort. Thank you!

You probably didn't include a picture of us at the table because we were so wedged in, we couldn't move our arms enough to get out the camera! :rotfl: At least the close quarters let us get to know each other very quickly!

My daughter is such a stinker- I don't remember her sticking her tongue out like that!

Thanks for leaving out the part where Sawyer puked!

I'm stealing all sorts of pictures!

Aww... you said I was gorgeous and funny in person. You're nuts! Did you especially like my pink jacket and red shirt?

I'm sure I would have loved your mom, too.

Tessa would be so lucky to have you as a mother-in-law someday!

I am loving your trip report! It certainly has nothing to do with the fact that it is featuring my family so far!

I love reading Disboutiquers Trip Reports! I love seeing all the pictures with the adorable clothes that I wish I knew how to sew for my daughter!! Can't wait to read more about your adventures and also good to know about being able to buy a charger at the Virgin Megastore, that sort of thing is always something DH and I forget to pack for some reason!! Your children are adorable!!!

Thanks!

it's SO great that you and MissHeatherSue will be related one day!!!

cuz I'm telling you now...Tessa and Luke...soul mates!!! The picture of Luke hugging Tessa so close...that was a real hug...it wasn't a friendly hug...it was a full on embrace of LOVE!!! What a special little boy! Y'all have gone and raised confident kids who can be expressive...that's great!!!

All your kiddos are exceptionally beautiful. Your big girl is more lovely every time I see her. She sure is growing up!

fun start!!!

Aw Miss Cammie! You always make me tear up. A parenting compliment from you means a lot! :worship: I wish you could've been there!

Hey everyone...don't forget that Dallas tried to throw his hat in the ring too!!! (Luke won out but it was funny for a few minutes!)http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/DisMeet/887508944705_0_ALB.jpg

You know Heather, you are right, they do look alike, especially in that picture where their hair looks exactly the same! :lmao:

That's gonna be one LOOOOONNNGG invitation list!!!! hahaha

but the bride's family pays for the wedding, right? YOU'RE ALL INVITED! :rotfl2:

Sooooo cute! Love the Luke and Tessa pics!

Thanks Steph!

Umm..yah know...I have a trip report, too.

You are so sweet Heather!
Sawyer puked? :confused3
I got the resort map idea from this really great TR I'm reading: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2096482

Get well soon!

Feel better Jham!

What was floating around in the cold air at Disney???? Don't like all my new friends getting sick. Feel better

I hope you are feeling better too!!!

I have strep, too!! Small world!

I have been spending all of my sick time on the DIS, though! :)

I am subbing in for this...

Tessa and Luke... Love is in the air!

ETA: Florida weather today: Temperature high 72 degrees, precipitation 0

We (okay I) had the best intentions of getting to MK by rope drop. Unfortunately this is difficult to do when 5 other people want to sleep in. :confused3 I did manage to get us there not too long after rope drop.

And before I forget, the weather was GORGEOUS! I had planned to meet fellow disboutiquer t-beri at the Barber Shop. Her little Lily is the same age as my little Lily and both girls had made it to the ripe old age of 3 without EVER having a haircut. I really meant to get Lily’s First Haircut on our trip last year, but I didn’t manage to do it, so when we planned this trip, one of the first things I thought of was “Lily can still get her first haircut at Disneyworld!” I think T has a very similar story about her Lily’s First Haricut adventures. I was feeling bad that we were running a little slowly at this point. We got into MK and DH went to Town Hall to get his Disney Visa Rewards card while I went off in search of the Barber Shop. I got about 2/3 of the way up Main Street before asking directions, then I turned around and headed back towards the Barber Shop. I walked up and the cutest kid walks out and says “there you are!” It was Tifani’s Gavin (a.k.a. Mac). He was so cute, I just had to hug him. Gavin is 10 and I have to say, he is a really great kid! He was very friendly and talkative…just like his mom! Tifani was holding her Lily (a.k.a. Little) who wasn’t feeling so great. We got in line for haircuts and with rare perfect timing, DH and the big kids walked over from the Town Hall. They decided they would prefer to spend their first hours at Disneyworld going on some rides instead of waiting in line for their baby sis to get her first haircut. Gavin joined in with the big kids and I’m happy to say he and Seth hit it off very well. Seth was immediately impressed with Gavin’s “make your own Mickey ears” and pin-trading lanyard. Tifani and I had fun chatting while waiting for the girls’ turn.

It wasn’t too long of a wait and Little finally started to feel a bit better and got out of her mommy’s arms to play with the other Lily a bit. It was nice to see Liliana without her face buried in her mom's shoulder. She is so pretty! T and I talked about how both of our Lilys are pretty average size, but people always tell her her Lily is so little. I think I decided in my own mind that it is because she has the prettiest, dainty little porcelain doll face! While waiting in line, T and I noticed…A CUSTOM! So we (T) had to comment on how cute it was! It turns out the family was on a last-minute trip and had borrowed some Disney clothing from some friends. We told her about the Disboutiquers and the mom asked if we wanted to take a picture. Uh, ya think? That’s what we DO. :rotfl: I'm disguising her face anyway.

The girls managed to get their First Haircuts ALMOST at the same time.

It was very cute and a great experience. The lady that cut my Lily’s hair was AMAZING! She talked to her about the cutest things (this is Cinderella’s favorite brush because it’s her favorite color!) I have the whole thing on video but it is 10 minutes long, so I’ll have to try and figure out how to put it on youtube or something. Lily was very quiet and serious but she loved it! She still talks about it. Totally worth the 3-year wait!

We reached DH and the kids on the phone and they were about to get on Big Thunder Mountain, so we walked over there to meet up with them.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3676-1.jpg

By the time they got off, it was almost time for our lunch ADRs at Crystal Palace! We tried for a minute to figure out T’s new phone but were unsuccessful so we just planned to meet back up with them after lunch. Jayden (DD11) loves Pooh bear and especially Tigger, so we themed our outfits for today around this lunch. I have to say it was worth it when we walked in the door and ran straight into Tigger. He saw Jayden, pretended to faint, then ran up to her and swept her into a huge hug. I was totally unprepared and did not have any cameras out! It was so sweet. She has been through such a hard year and it just made my day to see her get some Tigger love. sigh. When Tigger signed her autograph book a little later he wrote a special note "to my Bestest Friend! Love and TTFN, Tigger"

We had a nice lunch. Thanks to a warning from Heather the night before, I asked for my meat to be “well done” so they tossed a slice onto a little grill over the fire and cooked it right! Our food was good. Everyone was happy. I tried the ratatouille, Seth had probably 4 slices of Boston Crème Pie. We had a great lunch although we hit the timing on the character’s kind of poorly and had to wait a bit after we were finished eating to see Piglet and I’m not sure if we ever did see Eeyore. We hurried out and met up with T and the kids.

As we were leaving, Luke grabbed my arm and pointed out the floral characters in the garden. He wanted his picture taken with them.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3690-1.jpg

Mike and the big kids had fast passes for Splash Mountain and they refused to leave the park for the day without going on Luke’s favorite ride. T and I decided to take a leisurely stroll down Main Street so we told Mike we’d meet them near Tony’s at the end of Main Street. Gavin decided to stay with us. We stopped and got a few photopass photos of the kids, watched the birds a bit, stopped at a cart to buy some new autograph books (my Lily had just filled hers up).

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3691-1.jpg

We were enjoying just hanging out. We were standing in front of Exposition Hall when a CM walked over and complimented the girls on their outfits. She started chatting with us and asked if we had time for a special surprise—well, YEAH! Now we were in a bit of a rush to try and get to Epcot for the big Disboutiquers pre-meet (2:00 IN CHINA PEOPLE!) but I had told them I wasn’t sure I’d be there on time and I’d call them when I got to Epcot and catch up with them wherever they were. And you always have to make time for a SPECIAL SURPRISE! She led us off down a hallway while I frantically dialed DH and told him to meet us at Exposition Hall, no time to explain, the girls were getting a special surprise. We got to a curtain and the CM pulled it across the entry and asked the little girls what did they think the magic words were (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo of course! We have some well-trained Disney princesses with us!) so the girls called out Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! And she dramatically threw back the curtain to reveal…CINDERELLA!!! It was so cute! Lella has been my Lily’s favorite princess as long as she could talk. It was so cute and fun. I think we had Lella a little confused as to how we all knew each other, living on opposite sides of the country and all but she was great. She even took the time to write Little’s name in the front of her brand new autograph book for her and she signed Gavin’s Mickey ears. I must say, as far as Cinderellas go, she was in great form today. One of the sweetest princesses I’ve met!

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3692-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3697-1.jpg

Poor DH and the rest of the kids were wandering around Exposition Hall a tad confused by this point. We came out, grabbed our strollers and raced off for the monorail to Epcot and the big Disboutiquers meet (and pre-meet!)

Up Next: Day 2 Part 2: The Disboutique Meet!

Lucky you on the meet with Cindy!

 I'm glad you found it! I hate being left out! :rotfl: DD11 definitely loves the characters.

WOW!!! A private meeting with Lella!!!! That's awesome! Jayden looked so cute in her Tigger outfit! I love the pic of Luke holding up the autograph book in front of the greenery.

Thanks!

I hear you! I was so excited to catch up on my DISing last weekend and I ended up so sick with strep that it hurt my head to read anything. :headache: I haven't been that sick in a long time! I hope you are feeling better now! :goodvibes

Okay, now I'm caught up. :surfweb: I mean, I'm at work slaving away... :rolleyes1

The Tessa/Luke official meet was adorable. They certainly seem to be 2 peas in a pod. :lovestruc Love all the Lilys!! They are both so darn cute and it looks like they had fun together. Jayden's Tigger outfit is the best and I'm so glad to hear that he loved it. Can't wait to read more!!

Ugh! I hope YOU are feeling better! Luke and Tessa got along so well I have to laugh just thinking about them. It was cute.

Up Next: Day 2 Part 2: The Disboutique Meet!

The monorail to Epcot was pretty uneventful. Gavin, Seth, Jayden and Luke got to ride up front! My kids had never done this before so they were pretty excited. We got through “security” and then through the gate were we stopped and couldn’t see T and her kids. Finally Mike spotted her on the other side of the gate. They had been DENIED entry! :scared1: Okay, really their passes had been demagnetized or whatever it is that magnets do to passes, so they had to get that taken care of. We had no idea how long that would take (turns out, not long at all) so we told them we’d meet them at Club Cool. Yes, we were running late, but everyone was whining about being thirsty and Gavin had a big mug to fill :rolleyes1 so we had to take a Club Cool break. My dear sweet Jayden gave T’s Lily Beverly. Oddly, from that moment on, they were inseperable. Then of course there was the mandatory potty break. I took this opportunity to change into my Disboutiquer Meet tee shirt. Jayden changed her outfit as well. Her BFF was planning to be in Epcot today also and the girls had matching outfits they wanted to wear together. Our friends’ trip was not very long, so it was the only chance for the girls to wear them in the same place at the same time, assuming we would eventually run into them. The funny thing is a Disboutiquer, Cindee, saw Jayden’s outfit at Epcot, but it wasn’t on Jayden! She had seen Jayden’s BFF running around earlier in the day.

So finally we made it to China! And there were our peeps! Everyone was hanging out in the shade. All the kids had puppets that needed untangling every 3 minutes or so. I have to say, I somehow managed to escape without buying a puppet! :cool1: I think I was too busy chatting and trying to watch 4 kids run around to take pictures! So I stole a few from my friends. (thanks Jessica and Kristine)
I'm just now figuring out why Luke was begging me for sunglasses this day.
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/cooldudes.jpg

We stopped and chatted for a little bit, then decided to head out en masse to ride Maelstrom. At some point along the way, Luke noticed Dallas and Tessa walking along hand-in-hand. He was not about to let his friend steal his girl! I was actually quite shocked that he was so concerned. It was pretty funny.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/420177944705_0_ALB.jpg

Once he made it clear that Tessa was HIS girlfriend, they were all able to get along. :rotfl:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/887508944705_0_ALB.jpg

We finally made it to Maelstrom. We took up a lot of boats! Somehow some poor couple got trapped in the middle of our group. We finally let them out. I sat in the front of the boat with Jessica and we tried to take “over our shoulder” pictures of everyone behind us.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3701-1.jpg

Don’t Heather and Stacy look cute in this picture? And doesn’t Lin look like he’s having the time of his life? :lmao: (I'm only joking about Lin, not Heather and Stacy!) Sawyer looks kinda bored. :confused3

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3700-1.jpg

Of course as we exited the ride (some of us) stopped for the obligatory Troll photos. The kids could’ve played with the hats all day!

Our group then walked over to the ferry to the Boardwalk.
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/boat.jpg

I had never been there before so it was fun to see a new part of Disney! We arrived at ESPN Club and ran into the rest of our group. We waited a bit for our tables, but not too long.

It was fun visiting over dinner. I copied Jessica and followed her around taking pictures of each table.

Cathy did not eat with us :snooty: but did show up for photos. I forgave her because she had on awesome minnie dot capris.

After dinner we tried to gather the kids for a kid photo. I realized how futile that was turning out to be and decided to take a picture of the people trying to take a picture of the kids.

We eventually took the longest walk back to Epcot. I had no idea the Boardwalk was actually that close! It could’ve been the shortest walk, but when dozens of people take a potty break, it tends to go on and on. Especially when kids don’t decide that they need a potty break until everyone else is done…:rolleyes1

We walked right up to the bridge between France and England and no one was there, so we sat down and found our spaces for Illuminations. I reached our friends on the phone and they were thinking of the same spot for Illuminations so they joined us and Jayden was finally reunited with her BFF! Just below us and to the right there was a wedding party going on.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3732-2.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3736-1.jpg

After Illuminations we said some sad farewells. Luke was on Mike’s shoulders. Tessa was 95% asleep, so I held her up to Luke so they could say goodbye. We walked out with Jessica and Tifani and their families. My Lily fell asleep in the stroller immediately after Illuminations.

How cute are the two Lilys? :lovestruc
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3738-1.jpg

We left our friends at the monorail and as we continued on to our bus stop Lily woke up. She started coughing and then threw up all over her blankie. I’m glad she had a shirt and pants on under her jumper because I was able to just peel off the jumper, stick it in a bag with the blanket, wipe things up with some diaper wipes and we were on the bus. I think Lily had just had too much. She was tired, she’d eaten a lot of junk, and it had been a long day. I put her in her PJ’s and she went right back to sleep.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3740-1.jpg

I won’t go into too much detail, but I on the other hand spent the next hour doing laundry in the bathtub. Will Lily survive the next couple of days waiting for her blankie to dry? Stay tuned!

Okay, I should have taken notes. I had no idea Lily got sick! I hope she was okay the rest of the trip. Since I didn't know about it I'll guess she was. Probably just too much junk, up too long and too much fun for one little 3 year old!

Your pictures turned out great in Norway on the boat. I am pretty disappointed with kodak and my new camera. It takes horrible photos inside. Which is completely evident when you look at your table photos! Glad you followed me because I just snagged every single one!

Your group phots are the BEST too! Mike did a good job!

I was surprised at how short the walk was back to Epcot. I guess I am using to walking across the boardwalk first. The LONG bathroom break gave me a chance to chat with Teresa so that worked!

Love the pictures from the bridge! Much better then mine again! I love that I take more pictures with my new small camera but I really sacrifice in the quality part!

Glad Jayden's friend made it over. I get it now why she changed! Is her friend the same age or a bit older? I thought Jayden was super tall but her BFF is even taller! Why can't I get a little of that height!

Jayden was REALLY REALLY REALLY good with the kids and especially Little! She so deserves sister of the year award! She is always so sweet and helpful. Her mama must have raised her right! I would insert a smilie her but then I know my whole response would go poof!

I am anxious to hear about the rest of the trip now and see the customs! I am bummed I was sick and we never got to spend more time together!

How was bunco last night?

So, am I the only dork that wore my disboutique meet shirt all day?

I saw your friends wearing your kid's outfits when we first entered Epcot, too. They were getting their picture taken in front of the ball. I said "That's weird, those kids have the same shirt as Luke, but Jeanne made that shirt!" I'm a little dense, so I never considered that they were the people that were with you!

I actually like that picture of myself on the Maelstrom!

I really got a kick out of Mike! He was too funny waiting to get his picture taken with the hat and axe.

Would you look at Megan in the first group photo? I think we may have another love connection! :rotfl:

I wish I'd been able to fix the red eye better, but I figured I tried it with 2 different programs and that is enough for one day. We may just have to send it to Corey. It is amazing how well everyone but especially the kids got along. The "fight" for Tessa's love was too cute and I love the hand holding photo once everything was resolved.

Will Lily survive the next couple of days waiting for her blankie to dry? Stay tuned!

Oh, I hope Lily was Ok while the blankie dried. I am pretty sure that I would be spending time at the coin-op laundry mat at the resort paying to get DD's blankie dried that night. She will not sleep without it.

If there is a disboutique meet next year - I am there. It looked like so much fun.

Florida Weather Today: Hi temp 73 degrees, precip 0

We woke up with plans to hit DHS at rope drop. Unfortunately the Disney transportation system did their very best to undermine our attempts. :sad2: We met up with Dsis and her family (outside our door, their room was next to ours) and got to the bus stop in plenty of time, or so we thought. We waited…and waited…and waited….I counted busses. 5 AK busses stopped, 5 MK busses stopped, 3 Epcot busses…where was the DHS bus???? Well I didn’t just sit there and wonder, I started going up to every single bus and pestering the driver. Of course they all told me “oh, it’s the bus right behind me!” Until finally one woman listened and I heard her tell dispatch. Finally after 45 min. the bus showed up! I’m telling you, it’s a good thing we weren’t in a hurry or things could’ve gotten ugly. In fact, I’m sure they did get ugly, we were the first stop at our resort and there were 3 more stops in the route. The DHS bus filled up after 2 stops. You should’ve seen the faces on the poor people at the 3rd stop when we just drove by without stopping. They’d probably been waiting just as long. The bus driver tried to signal the angry mob that another bus was on the way. If only they had listened to me the FIRST time I nagged a bus driver. :sad2:

We made it to DHS only a little after rope drop. DH was sent on a mission to get FPs for TSMM. Dsis got ahead of me (maybe because I was pausing for some not so great DH-less but dangit I’m getting my money’s worth photopass photos). I think someone's mad because he didn't get to go with his daddy. :confused3 ETA: There's my sister in the background! I just noticed that!

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld 2009/TR photopass/Image041-1.jpg

I think we told DH we’d meet him by the hat which worked out well because HSM was just finishing up and Lily and my niece needed to do a little dancin’. (while Seth apparently stuffed his pockets with confetti).

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/TR%20video/th_DancingwithHSM.jpg (http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/TR%20video/?action=view&current=DancingwithHSM.flv)

Our first ride was ToT. Now DH seemed to be in an all out rush to GO THERE NOW so off I went, in the lead, pushing the stroller. I get to the entrance and turn around and only see Jayden walking with me. But who’s coming down the path? Is it the rest of my family??? Oh no no no, it's a group of 500 Brazilian girls! I can’t say whether or not they were cheerleaders, they did not subject us to any actual cheering. My first instinct is to jump in line but DH is not even answering his phone, so all 500 of them file past me. :headache: Finally up the path comes the rest of my group snacking on oranges. This was our only real argument of the trip. DH is always the one racing from ride to ride, never letting me look around or shop, and here he is snacking on an orange telling me “I told you I was stopping, I had to get my vitamins!” I don't think it counts if you "tell" me when I have my back to you and I'm pushing a stroller through a crowd of people! :snooty:

Lily managed to be tall enough for ToT. :cool1: She was excited to go on it until we walked into the building and it was kinda spooky. She didn’t get scared though, just less enthusiastic. I think she kind of liked the ride! (She may look a little scared in the photo, but the rest of the trip she kept asking to go back on "Towa of Terra" or it's alternate name the "up down up down" ride.) I had to buy the photo of her first “big girl” ride. (Don’t tell DH, he walked out of the dump shop ahead of me and said “Don’t buy ANYTHING!” So of course I bought it and had it sent to our resort so I walked out of there with nothing in my hands.):rolleyes1 That made me feel a lot better over the whole “I need my vitamins” incident. It’s not like we hadn’t eaten breakfast before we left. :confused3

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/TowerofTerror-1.jpg

Next we moved on to Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster. Luke was really sad because he was not tall enough to go on it. Not even close really. With all the stroller swappin’ going on, we (our group) went about 4 or 5 times. Of course I only went once. I spent the rest of the time waiting with kids, at times, too many kids! Or I should say too many babies in strollers! As I’m sitting there with 2 little girls in strollers, a man in an ECV parks right next to us and starts to smoke. In the babies’ faces. I couldn’t push both strollers at once to move them, and the 3 boys I had my eyes on were not much help. And wait, I have rights here! I ever so politely informed him where the actual SMOKING AREA was located. I thought of Sally Miss Cammie!

Now our friends were also at DHS this day. Do you think it is easy to meet up with someone when you don’t get to the park at the same time? I realized on this trip that it is almost impossible, for even if you do meet up, someone has a fastpass, someone else has already done everything you haven’t and vice-versa. We did manage a quick meet up outside the Great Movie Ride where we made plans for later in the afternoon.

Jessica made all the cool Jedi Mickey and Leia Minnie shirts!

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3750-1.jpg

Then we, meaning my family and Dsis’ family, went on the Great Movie Ride. I had only been on this once before and it was 8 years ago so I didn’t remember much. It was fine, a nice break. After the ride my family had ADRs at Sci-Fi Diner. We walked in the door and Pal Mickey started telling us about the diner. It was fun. We were seated in a car right up front.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3746-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3743-1.jpg

I have to say we had amazing service at this meal! Our waitress was excellent! :yay: We were all so tired, it was really relaxing to just sit there in the air-conditioned semi-darkness. The kids had a giant screen to lull them into the TV trance.
(Luke loves his ketchup! So I made him a "hidden Mickey" because he loves those too.)

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3745-1.jpg

We barely moved. It was so nice. The waitress said “So, is it your 3rd day?” I had to stop and think for a minute, then realized “yes actually it is.” “Ahhhh,” she says, “it always hits on the 3rd day.” :confused3 I’m assuming she meant the glazed over look on our faces. I had a burger and a shake as I’ve been instructed by the Disboards in general. It was good. The onion rings weren’t bad either. Luke had most of my shake.

After lunch we met back up with Dsis and used our FPs for TSMM. I love this ride! We’d been on it before at Disneyland and it is a family favorite. I don’t know why but it just makes me laugh, all that shooting and spinning. I like it so much better than Buzz because I feel like I can actually do it, unlike Buzz where I pretty much feel like an idiot because I can’t even figure out what I’m aiming at, let alone hit the target. But that’s a personal problem, I get that.

We then split up and DH took the boys to Light’s, Motor, Action and then the Indiana Jones stunt show. Dsis took Dneice with the boys. I took my girls and we had a relaxing snack and made our way over to Beauty and The Beast. We stopped along the way for a few photos.

Finally we made it to Beauty and the Beast. I had never seen this show and it was my one “must do” for DHS. We met up with my friend and DD11’s BFF. Lily fell asleep in my arms while we waited for the show to start. As soon as it started she woke up from her 15 minute nap and was instantly engrossed in the show. She loves her some princesses!

(no good pics here)
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3768-1.jpg

The plan was for everyone to meet up after the show and head to Fantasmic. I didn’t really care if we saw it or not, but some people in the group really wanted to, so I was fine with that. Our friends had the Fantasmic dinner package. THEY managed to meet up before the show and find their seats. :snooty: My girls and I wound up being the very last to be seated in the regular seats (thanks to a kind family that scooched over) before they started filling the “standing room only” section. We broke out the cheap glow bracelets while we were waiting.

But where was DH????? :confused3 Finally he answered the phone and told me he and the boys and Dsis and her family were getting something to eat. I told them good luck getting a seat. After many more unanswered phone calls he finally answers to tell me they just stopped them going up the hill because the stadium was full and they were turned away. UGH! So those of us that didn’t really care to see the show were IN IT, and those that really did want to see it were NOT. I told DH to take DS9 to the Animation building because he’d been dying to go there all day. They stayed there all through Fantasmic and we met them there after the show. IT WAS CROWDED! As we excited the first showing, people were lined up for the second showing as far as the eye could see! Seriously, it was the scariest line ever! I couldn’t imagine waiting in it! EVER! But the nice thing is that everyone in the park was in that line and when they filed in, it was blissfully quiet in the park. :cloud9: So, where was I...we met up just outside the Animation building and were just standing there chatting when we heard music coming from the Playhouse Disney building. We glanced over and saw characters…DANCING! :dance3: It was a party going on in there! A DANCE PARTY! :dance3: :dance3: Hmmm…were we invited? We walked over and we just had to show our room cards for EMH and the bouncers let us in!   When we first walked in, there were not very many people in there, maybe 30, and at least 4 characters. There were also 2 people there making free balloon animals! WOO HOO! This is my kind of party! They had a DJ doing the music. I think this was one of the highlights of our trip.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3800-1.jpg

The characters kept switching out 2 at a time. We danced with Pluto, Goofy, Quincy, Annie, JoJo, Goliath, Mickey and Minnie.

We were exhausted and the cool night air felt so good! We decided to take advantage of the nonexistent lines and ran over to Star Tours before dragging ourselves out of the park. It was a long day, the park was pretty crowded until the first Fantasmic show departed, but we had a great day. I’m just sad I missed out on seeing some of my other friends that were there that day!

Okay, I KNOW I was at this park the same day you were! I KNOW because I saw DH with the boys and DN BUT why did I NOT know that it was EMH that evening? Dallas was dying to ride Rock N Rollercoaster and the guy told him he was tall enough but it had a 100 minute wait (or was it 120) at that point in time! I felt like crap anyways but I probably would have stayed and watched Fantasmic too. We were right there probably when you were going in. B&B had just let out!

I LOVE how Lily ran to Sulley! The look on her face was priceless! I also decided it is hard to meet up with someone else. I felt like every time I thought of calling that you were probably on a ride or eating lunch and didn't want to bother you!

I love the orange in the morning! Why is it the guys consider it as they told us if we didn't acknowledge them but if they don't acknowledge us hearing something it counts as we never told them!

Great installment!

The one night that we were there, the line for the Fantasmic's second show was really scary! Needless to say, we didn't see it this trip! We have seen the show before, and although we enjoyed it, we didn't need to see it again!

Oh my GOSH! I can't believe you had to wait so long for the buses!!!!!! That must have been so frustrating!

Yay, a picture of Jeanne! Poor Luke, how dare you make him sad?

That dancing video is TOOO cute!

500 Brazillian girls!! OH NO!! I'm willing to bet they were cheerleaders!

Tell Mike I'm sorry I wasn't there to curb your spending at the TOT dump shop. But, I must say that picture was worth it!!! I love the look on Lily's face!

Yes, I do know how hard it is to meet up with the rest of your party if you don't arrive at the same time! Even if you do arrive at the same time and don't see where the rest of your party parked!

I love the shirts Jessica made! I also love the Monsters Inc outfits!!!!

Tessa also drank most of my shake at the Sci-Fi diner. Those little squirts!

I love the ketchup Mickey. You're so clever!

Oh my gosh, the "where dreams come true" picture of Lily is PERFECT!!

Tessa is quite impressed by Luke's dance moves. ;)

I so seriously needed a dose of little Lily and her fabulous family today!!

first off...when I was reading about the smokers I was thinking..."Dang if Sally had been there..." only to find you were thinking the same thing!:lmao:

I LOVE the dance videos!! Luke and Lily have got some MOVES!! So darling!! I can't believe how big they all are getting!! The Sci fi pictures were adorable! I love how your family can fill up a whole car!!

ummm...what else? OH the pic of Lily running towards someone with a huge sparkle filled smile on her face...precious! Seriously that child could make a MINT in commercials and movies!:thumbsup2

AND the fact that you took Lily and Luke on ToT TOTALLY validates my reasoning for *making* Sally go on it. It's FUN dangit! If little ones like Lily can go on that ride and not perish from fright then I should think that a nine year old could handle it without hysterics...you'd think huh?

thanks so much for sharing the pictures! I was really bumming out today and your family at Disney made me feel loads better!!!

can't wait to hear more!!!:goodvibes

Confession time- I called you while I was at rope drop to see if you were there. Really poor timing on my part- as soon as you picked up, it got really noisy and I couldn't hear anything. I couldn't tell if you were there or not. I did see your DH and Seth when I was getting off Toy Story. I went straight down to Rock N Roller Coaster, then back to Toy Story. I bet we were on the same street at the same time. It was pretty crowded though.

not sure why the pictures aren't showing up for me! UGH Darn ATT I wish we never switched! I will check back later hopefully it will work then! I actually thought I sub'd to this earlier!

Thanks for reading Marlo! I hope the pics work for you. I feel the same way about Comcast that you feel about AT&T. :headache:

i feel so bad i didnt know you had a trip report going on, i followed your link from disboutiquers.
i am very impressed at how well you guys travel, airport stopovers, and shoes off of 4 kids. arggh . the shoe thing makes me nutty with just 2.
i love the girls getting their hair cuts, my ds got his 1st haircut there it was such fun, of course he was only 15 months. i said i was going to do dd last trip but i just couldnt find the time, maybe next trip , she will be 3. although she does have bangs, just never a real haircut because she was bald till about 18 months.
your hidden mickey ketchup was cute, my kids zoned out in the sci fi too. its like a mini break.
cant wait for more

Thanks for reading! Jayden was pretty much bald until she was 2!

Awesome day and such wonderful pics for your DHS day...I am so looking forward to checking the place out for the first time! I really want to see the B and B show! The dance party looked like a blast!!! I bet you were all sooo tired...how cute is Lily laying down! I love love love everyone's shirts and outfits! So cute! Did you get a lot of comments? :goodvibes

What? You've never been to DHS? Your girls will love B and B princess: princess: princess:

Great installment!

The one night that we were there, the line for the Fantasmic's second show was really scary! Needless to say, we didn't see it this trip! We have seen the show before, and although we enjoyed it, we didn't need to see it again!

I didn't know about the dance party!?!
Leighanna would have loved to go to it! Darn!

Loved everyone's outfits! That Lily is just too darn cute!

What day did you go to DHS? I think the only way to know about the dance party is to accidently stumble across it or to ask someone where they got the balloon animals! I loved that it wasn't very crowded, especially at first.

A dance party at playhouse disney???? WOW!!! That is so cool!

Tessa is quite impressed by Luke's dance moves. ;)

I LOVE your balloon hat! :rotfl:

:ssst: Mike still doesn't know I bought that photo! I love that everyone is watching Lily. I also love that my hand is blocking my face. :rotfl:

Sorry you had a bad day! I often think of Sally when I smell cigarette smoke, especially when it is against the rules! She inspires me to speak up. And yes, sometimes we must teach our kids how to have FUN! There's nothing like a little dose of Disney to make you feel better!

Hmmm, did I pick up the phone? When I got home I think there was something on the machine and I checked the caller ID and I saw your name. I think my cell forwarded the call to my house and maybe you got the answering machine with Jayden's voice. :confused3 Weird. I bet you saw Mike and Seth when they were picking up the fast passes and we were at HSM. You should've followed them or said something!

Oh I love all the pictures and videos! Lily was so cute with Sully. I love all the clothes. Luke can really bust a move. Hahaha. I laughed watching Seth stuff all that confetti in his pocket. And that Jayden is just a cutie....how fun that she got to spend some time with her BFF!!

Loving your TR!

Thanks Beth! Seth has a thing about collecting confetti. It started on our Disney cruise. It got to the point where the kids club CMs would help him. :rotfl:

I always pick up confetti from the parades! Just makes for something fun to add to the pictures. I got a little sitting right next to me from US from Xmas. Guess I should put it away or move it or something!

Hoarding shirts is a good thing. I tried to go to old navy online today and buy more but they only have the biggest sizes in brown and green. For some reason my 2 closest old navy have NO brown shirts anymore. :rolleyes1

Stacy, you didn't call me! I would have answered! Of course I KNOW we didn't get to DHS until around noon. And now I know why all the TSM fastpasses were gone! Jeanne and family took them! Or maybe it was all those :cheer2:

You guys forget that I am the girl that doesn't sleep. We were all out late the night before. I didn't know who would be up that early, but Jeanne mentioned that they were going to rope drop. I made it to rope drop, but didn't have any buddies. It was really fine though. I did a few rides and left- I was PARANOID about missing my flight. . .again.

Ok. In defense of myself, I was caught up to the photopass pics, I just somehow missed the mac/megan discussion. Of course he says...Can't you see I'm leaning the other way?:thumbsup2

Lily's face on TOT is so great! I don't think I would have had the nerve to take Little. She is not big on surprises:scared1:

Of course all of the kids outfits are adorable. And Lily must be much braver than Little because she wouldn't go anywhere near Lightning and Mater. So our pics from Radiator Springs are just of Mac and B.:sad2: But we tried to get both kids in for a pic for my inlaws, FIL is a "car guy"

I'll try not to fall behind again, I wouldn't want you to get the impression that I dont' care:snooty:

Today’s Florida Weather: High Temperature 77 degrees, sigh, does it get any better? Precipitation, 0

That’s right, it was a GORGEOUS day. :cloud9: We got up early for our 8am breakfast ADRs at Tusker House and walked over to the bus stop. I was a little concerned after yesterday’s bus nightmare, in fact I had called the front desk the night before to see if there would be a bus to get us there that early, The woman on the phone told me “hakuna matata” which made me laugh. Indeed it was a hakuna matata kind of day. Our bus arrived within 5 minutes and we were on our way to my 2nd favorite park, Animal Kingdom. We were walking toward the entrance when I called our friends and they were just behind us getting off their bus.

A very squinty, suninoureyes sort of photo:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3805-1.jpg

When our friends were planning their trip we had already made ADRs so they made a new breakfast reservation for all 11 of us. Then my sister planned her trip, so she used our original ADR so we all had breakfast at the same time…not exactly together. My sister and her family happened to get seated in a different room. You didn’t ask to be seated by us, did you Cathy? :snooty: So we stopped and had our photo taken.

I think I was reading a TR of scottny’s (hi Scott!) :wave2: When I decided I wanted to do the character breakfast at Tusker House. I’m glad we did! It was great. We had fun. The kids sat at one table and the adults at another. :scared: As I mentioned, my sister’s family were in another part of the restaurant. :confused3 You may notice in the photos that this limited adult supervision at the kid table resulted in some interesting plates of food. I apologize for the apparent waste of Mickey waffles. I’m sure that was Seth’s. Wait! Actually it kinda looks like Pal Mickey is to blame! The juice actually lived up to expectations, it was yummy! I had to alternate it with Diet Coke though to get the morning caffeine flowing. :thumbsup2

When we finished breakfast the park was just opening so our first move was to hop in the quick line for the safari. Even though my photos on this ride never turn out, no matter what setting my camera is on, I still take them. :sad2: Every time. I'll just share this one because I think it is funny. Luke's head and a rhino's...uhm...tail. :rotfl:

As we walked off the safari we wandered over to the Pangani Forest Trail. We had never done this before. It was okay. I do not know why I don't have any pictures. Feel free to post some Cathy! DH had to race off to EE with everyone’s tickets to pick up FPs. We told him where to find us, but he decided instead to stay at EE and ride it over and over again until WE found HIM. :sad2: So a few potty trips and phone calls later and we were all at EE. Where we rode it. Again and again. Now I enjoy this ride and probably went on it 4 or 5 times the entire trip, but when DH loves a ride, he wants to do it over and over again. We rode in shifts because of the small children and...um…scared people (who shall remain nameless). :scared: I didn’t mind too much, but I think the people we were with were thinking ENOUGH ALREADY! I think Jayden managed to go on with every group. She said she went 7 times. Finally nearly everyone had had enough of EE, some had had way too much, and we walked on over to the Dinosaur ride. I offered to sit out with Lily. When Luke found out we were going to wait at the Boneyard he decided to come with us. Not sure where my sister and niece went.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3835-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3837-1.jpg

When they got off the ride, the rest of the kids wanted to play for a while. I told the girls I’d let them get their faces painted so I decided now would be a great time. Jayden said no, she wanted to go to the playground with her friend. I said, and I did, no matter what her side of the story is, :snooty: “then you won’t get your face painted, because I’m not waiting in line twice.” So off I went with Lily.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3842-1.jpg

what is up with those people in the background?

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3847-1.jpg

I'd say she was pretty pleased. She does this with her lips whenever she has lip gloss on. That girl LOOOOOVES her some lip gloss!

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3848-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3852-1.jpg

Now I had never seen Festival of the Lion King and it was my one “must do” of the day, so once we got all 9 kids out of the playground (no small feat, trust me, it took more than one search and rescue team) I dragged everyone off to FLK. We managed to arrive just in time to be near the front of the line. Everyone was getting hot and tired and hungry. Too bad. Mama wants to see her show! We were seated in the Elephant section. As soon as we sat down, Lily fell asleep in my arms. Much like at the Beauty and the Beast show the day before, she woke up when the show started and loved every minute of it. We all liked the show. At the end Lily and one of my friend’s sons (Luke’s friend) got picked to go out and dance around. Lily was happy to go even though she was still a bit slow and sleepy.

After the show, we broke out the snacks and started working our way over to Kali River Rapids. We stopped to get some photopass photos.

How cute are these matchy kids?

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/TR%20photopass/Image120-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/TR%20photopass/Image117-1.jpg

apparently Lily's Simba cradling skillz weren't up to par because those photos never showed up. :confused3

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/TR%20photopass/Image124-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/TR%20photopass/Image127-1.jpg

Now here developed a new problem. Luke suddenly decided that every time Lily would get out of the stroller, he would steal her spot. He said he was too tired to walk. So Lily would walk until she got to tired but he wouldn’t get out of the stroller, so we sat her on top of him thinking that would change his mind. It didn’t. He didn’t care if she was sitting on him.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3863-1.jpg

Now usually I don’t like getting soaking wet on rides. I don’t do river rides without a poncho. And yet here we were at Kali River Rapids, no poncho, I went. It was kind of hot out, Lily was big enough to go so I had no excuse to sit out, and my friend was going, so why not? We get on our raft and joke around that my friend’s DH was a “water magnet” and he was going to get wet hahahaha. Two hot, scantily clad college girls got on our raft. They didn’t speak English and the CM kept trying to tell them to put their stuff in the covered thing in the middle and they just didn’t understand so someone had to grab their stuff and do it for them. Surely, they’d be the ones to get wet. Hahahahahah. I’m sure you can tell by now that my friend and I were SOAKED as was Lily. Everyone else was pretty dry. My friend’s DH had maybe 3 drops of water on him total. UGH!

After that we…umm…went on EE again, a couple of times.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3868-1.jpg

We decided to go over to It’s Tough To Be a Bug. I love looking at the Tree of Life.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3870-1.jpg

After Bug’s Life we split up. Our friends went off in search of a churro and eventually dry clothes, my sister’s family and ours stayed for the parade. I hate sitting on the hard ground when I’m wearing crocs. Those little black rivets that hold the strap on just dig into the sides of my feet! Then of course at least one or two children have to sit on my lap to add their weight to the problem. Ouch!

Can anyone spy a stranger in a custom in the photo? There were two matchy sisters in fact. They looked very cute!

After the parade we intended to go to DTD for our dinner ressies at T-Rex, but I was still wet, at least the inner layers… so we hopped the bus back to our hotel for a quick change,

at POR:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3883-1.jpg

then took the boat to DTD. My niece was done for the day so my sister and her family stayed at the resort. We met up with our friends. They got there before us so they waited in the huge check-in line, actually I think there were 2 lines to wait in, but other than that we did not have to wait. Yay for reservations! (That I made directly with the restaurant over the phone some weeks ago).

We loved it here! Of course having 4 dinosaur-loving boys aged 5-9 didn’t hurt. We had a boy’s table and a girl’s table.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3888-1.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3886-1.jpg

We were seated in the ice cave. It kept glowing red during the meteor showers which made our food look really weird. (I never did figure out if those were olives or tomatoes in my salad.)

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3887-1.jpg

Most of the food was very good, some was meh (Wolly Mammoth Chicken was kind of bland, it sounded a lot better than it tasted). Service at the boys table started to get pretty ugly. They had to wait a loooooooooooong time for their entrees. The DHs got this appetizer that they LOVED. My DH said it was the best thing he ate on the trip: "Triassic Tuna - Ahi tuna diced in a soy and lime marinade with mango and avocado, served on wontons with wasabi aioli and a Thai chili sauce." The boys also got this for dessert: "Chocolate Extinction - A gigantic portion of chocolate fudge cake served with ice cream, fresh whipped cream drizzled with fudge and caramel sauces and sprinkled with Butterfinger crumbs. Enough for two or more." It served the whole boys table. And maybe some of the girls snuck over for a bite…:thumbsup2

We were tired and ready to go home, but not without a little shopping first! Luke was due some Legos and I wanted a birthday shirt. I went to the make-your-own tee shirt place and started working on a design when an employee told me it wouldn’t be done until tomorrow and I’d have to come back then to pick it up. That wasn’t going to happen, so I went over to WoD to see if they had any birthday shirts. They said no. I was bummed! But I looked around anyway and found…A BIRTHDAY SHIRT! Which I looked awful in, but you’ll see plenty of that coming up in DAY 5: Happy Birthday to ME!

What a great day for AK!! I LOVE those perfect AK days. Good weather, light crowds...:thumbsup2 You know AK is quickly becoming my 2nd favorite park. I can't quite bring myself to forsake MK;) But we've had some really great days at AK the last 2 years. It is definitely my favorite park to tour sans kids.

I'm sorry you didn't get to sit w/ your sisters family too but I'm sure you had a wonderful dinner. We love the tusker house, partially b/c my inlaws don't like to eat at the Marrakesh and Tusker House has the same veggie cous cous so I don't feel like I missed out (except for the Moroccan mint iced tea)

How adorable were all the matchy matchy kids?!?!?!:cutie: Man, you must have been sewing your little heart out. You friends are so lucky!!!:thumbsup2

And I'm proud of you for braving the river rapids without a poncho. We make fun of those people:hug:

Jayden has always been a fearless thrill-seeker! :scared1: The boys' volcano/dry ice thing was the countdown to extinction dessert :thumbsup2

The dessert looks so yummy! I should have followed suit and made reservations for the evening there. I think it would be fun.

I love the way Mike is just like a kid! I bet he is alot of fun to be married to. Dallas also loves the playground!

All the shirts and pictures with them all are so cute! I also like the picture of Mike and Jayden at the hotel!

You should have joined us Jessica! You could've sat at the much calmer girls table! I guess we'll have to go back...

Hey, I don't mind getting made fun of, I only mind being soaking wet!

Those are some cute matching kids!

Megan is forever picking up the confetti while Jacob lectures her on germs and grossness. She can be Seth's confetti buddy.

My silly husband insists on taking pictures on the safari. I finally got smart and bought some postcards and put them in our scrapbook. See, we saw a giraffe!

:rotfl: I know, we have a seasons pass to the zoo and I finally stopped taking pictures every time we went!

that's so funny! We make fun of the people who WEAR the ponchos :rotfl2:

Like I said, I don't mind getting made fun of for wearing a poncho. In fact I make fun of people who walk around the parks with a soggy wedgie. :lmao::snooty:

Loved the update!!! The pictures of the kids with all their matching shirts are my fav!!! I have never been on EE. Hopefully I can conjure up the courage during our next trip...whenever that may be!

We ate at T-Rex last December and loved it.

Ohh I can't wait to see your birthday shirt and hear all about your special day!

The next installment is coming very soon, right??? LOL

I can't believe you haven't ridden it! Doesn't Taylor like the fast rides? I'm not even sure I have a decent picture of the Birthday shirt :rolleyes1

everyone looked adorable in their matching clothes, as far as your hubby riding ee and you had to find him....i would be one cranky lady, but thats how i am. the face painting looked great, my kids never want that so it saves some money, but i really like it. and kudos to you for getting all those kids out of the playground...that is one impressive feat

Oh, did I forget to mention I was cranky? I had expected him to join us on the Pagnini Forest trail to help me keep track of 4 kids running in opposite directions. I ended up having to leave Seth with my sister. Some were running ahead and some were lagging behind. :headache: And that was BEFORE I found out that while I was trying to keep track of all the kids, he was RIDING EE! More than once even! I was bummed Jayden didn't get her face painted. So was she. But we didn't have time to stop for face painting every time someone got the urge! Now if they had a face painting station right next to EE, that would be another story!

I love all the matchy-matchy and mickey heads in the picture outside of Tusker House!

WOW! That's a lot of Mickey waffles and a whole bowl of syrup? :rotfl: Didn't you feed Pal Mickey any other day?

LOVE the Luke and the rhino picture! :lmao:

SEVEN times on EE???

I can't believe how nice it was at AK! This was just a few days after we were there wearing winter coats, hats, and gloves, and wishing for some snow pants!

Lily looks so pretty with her face painted up! Those people in the background are hilarous!

How cute are those matchy kids? Very, very, very cute!

I can relate to the stroller problems with Luke and Lily. But, Tessa threw a fit when we put Sawyer in with her. We almost left the park because she was acting so naughty!

EE TWO more times??

What is Luke riding on in that picture?

Awww..that's a cute little girl in the covert customs picture.

Does that sign by the dino bones that Luke is climbing on say "Please don't climb" or something to that extent? :rotfl:

That's an awesome dessert!

that's so funny! We make fun of the people who WEAR the ponchos :rotfl2:

Oh yeah, well see-through pants aren't too attractive, either! :rotfl: I know this from experience. :rolleyes1

I KNOW! What a difference a few days makes! I wish you'd still been there! That sign on the dinosaur says "no video photography allowed" (seriously, how can they actually enforce that? That is outside the restaurant right in the middle of DTD) but climbing is okay. :thumbsup2

Nope, never been on it. Taylor actually has a heart murmur and our Dr. told us to not take her on the fast rides. She is supposed to grow out of it but so far hasn't.

Oh come on, you must have one picture of your new Disney Birthday shirt!! I am sure you look as cute as ever in it.

Great update!

Love the matching shirts and customs! Great job! You got some really good photopass and other photos considering how many kids you were trying to get a photo of.

Glad to hear you enjoyed Lion King. We really like it! (Just ignore that certain disboutiquer who has a thing against FOTLK. :lmao:)

I have one kid and would be mad if DH deserted me to ride EE multiple times. Leaving you with four kids by yourself on that trail - :scared1:!

DD and I are poncho wearers on Kali - so what it the tally on ponchos vs no ponchos so far?

Looking forward to the next update! I hope it is as long, action-packed and photo-filled as this one.

Hmmm...not sure, maybe it's because of her age? I don't really know. I can't remember who but someone else told me they never heard this either but being her Mommy, I refuse to take any chances. Taylor doesn't seem to really care at this point so all is good. Her favorite rides ever are...and in this order....Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of Caribbean. Lol!!!

The kids joined the characters and CMs in a parade. Hey, this child looks familiar! Where did she come from? :confused3

Ummmm, she came from the other side of the room. :rolleyes1 I guess you never noticed, but we were just across the room from you. They were herding everyone in so fast that it was impossible to get a table next to you.

And the juice was very good - guava, pineapple & mango. It brought back memories.

Today's Weather: High 82 degrees, precipation, a big fat 0 :banana::banana::banana:

So we got off to a rough start this morning. Seth did NOT want to get up and get dressed. He wanted to sit in bed playing Legos. We had ressies at BBB for the girls at 8:10 and the boys at 8:30. We had to get moving! Needless to say, there was some arguing and maybe a little yelling. Have I mentioned I HATE being late? We made it out the door and I led the way to the bus stop. DH was at the back of the line. Waaaay back apparently. While we were waiting I got a few bus stop photos:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3893.jpg

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3894.jpg

Somehow Seth, who was somewhere between the two of us, took a wrong turn and got lost. When DH showed up at the bus stop without him, I sent him back to look. He returned saying he couldn’t find him. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! :scared1: What to do? The bus of course arrived right then and was our only chance at making our ressies. Lily was too little to have a turn last year and she’d been waiting a long time for this! I took the 3 kids and got on the bus while DH stayed to find Seth. I really didn't think it would take him long to find him and meet up with us. I called my sister thinking if he found his way, he would likely go to their room. I think I woke them up. :scared:

The whole time on the bus I was just sick to my stomach, calling DH every 5 minutes. I was in tears. We got through the gates, everyone there was making a big fuss over Lily in her outfit and I was so stressed out and in tears I just pretty much ran through. We made it to the castle and still no Seth. :sad1: I was about to throw up. But still managed a couple of photos:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3898.jpg

Our friends met us at BBB. Jayden’s BFF had an appointment too. Before they called the girls back I got a phone call from Seth (on my sister’s phone). :yay: He had made it to their room and was fine but REALLLLLLY MAD.:headache::mad::headache::mad: I called DH and he called off the POR security team…:scared: I don’t know how they did it but within 20 minutes they were at BBB and Seth got to get his Cool Dude hair. I don’t even want to imagine how mad he’d be if he’d missed that! It was a really bad start to my day. I didn’t even get a chance to stop off outside the gate and get my birthday gift card and birthday button! But the fairy godmothers in training took care of me and gave me a cool sparkly birthday button! When they found out it was my birthday they even offered to fit me in for a quick makeover. If I hadn’t been in such a miserable mood I would’ve taken them up on it.

The boys loved their cool dude hair. I didn’t realize they got to pick out what colors of hair gel they wanted until I saw the pictures! All of their FGITs were really great, especially Lily’s she took lots of time to make sure she felt special and princessy. I took pictures of all of the princesses’ “real” crowns. I want a display like that in my house! The FGIT was impressed that I easily knew whose crown was whose. Apparently lots of people get confused on a few—not disers I’m sure!

Oops, skip ahead a couple of posts for crown photos!

After all the kids were all “maked up” as Lily would say, DH took the boys to go on some rides. My friend hopped the monorail back to the Poly to pack, and I took Jayden, Jayden’s BFF and Lily to the Exposition Hall for their BBB photo shoot! (and a quick trip out the gate to pick up my birthday gift card).

Oh no! A not so great start to your birthday.

Poor Seth. Poor Mike. Poor Mommy. I am sure you were not feeling so great having no idea where he was.

The girls look beautiful! I really like that they don't have on princess dresses. I am not much of a princess dress girl. I do like the disboutique cotton ones but no itchy shiny other ones.

Seth's hair looks cool! And I like Luke's shirt. I love the upclose of the skirt.

Oh no!!! What a horrible start to your birthday!

OH NO! A code ADAM! :scared1: I can't believe Seth got lost!

I got lost at Disney one time after a parade. For about 30 minutes. My parents previously told me to get to the highest place and wait if I ever got lost. One would think I wandered often? :confused3 So I stood on a bench for 30 minutes. :scared1: I can't imagine why no one even asked me where my parents were!

I am so glad you got a birthday button. And a sparkly one! :) Do you have a picture. I want to see a sparkly button! :)

Oh, poor Mom! A couple of years ago we went to disney with Tom's cousin (the same family we went with this time). We put the girls down for a nap and Tom took Jacob to the pool. I was reading when the mom wandered out looking for the four year old. Apparently she woke up, saw her mom was napping and let herself out of the room! We were all freaking out trying to find her (we did eventually). That was the worst feeling, so I knew you must have felt sick. Megan slept through the entire eposide!

The kids are so cute maked up. I have to admit I do not whose crown is whose; do I get kicked off the DIS? Can't wait to hear more!

I figured if I resize all my photos I'll never finish, so huge photos it is! And lots of them!!!

I took the girls to Exposition Hall right after BBB to get their photos. I think we were the first ones there that day. I wasn't sure exactly where I was supposed to go, but we walked in the front door and were immediately greeted by several CMs, one of whom, Kari, led the girls back and got started taking photos. I have to say Kari was awesome!!! She had us all cracking up. She spent a lot of time trying to get Lily to stop making silly faces. She was so wonderful. :woohoo: By the time we left, a few girls had arrived and formed a line but that didn't make her rush us off at all.

Oh my gosh!! I missed more than one update!! I thought you had taken a REALLY long time to update (like I have).

Here are my notes on your last 2 updates:

I hate being late, too!

Oh NO!! Seth got lost. I feel so bad for you, being so worried about him, but trying to get to the BBB.

Awwww....the kids look so adorable after their makeovers!!! I prefer Luke's cool dude this year over last years!

Seth's "almost" smiling! :rotfl:

I am so ashamed! I don't know who's crown belongs to who!

Those are some pretty pictures of Lily! How great that someone tried to help you get her to stop making facings- and she didn't rush you!

Oh, I love the picture of Jayden and Lily looking at each other!

Jayden looks so pretty in these pictures, too!

I found your TR after reading your friend's one. I can't remember her name at the moment but her daughter is set to marry your son. Great stuff! You are such a talented seamstress.

So I'm looking at the picture of the princess crowns at BBB and I seriously have no idea who's his whos. Does the color of the pillows have to do with anything? Because from there I can figure it out but if not...then...maybe you could give me some hints?:)

… and stopped for some photopass photographers.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/Image705.jpg

The girls and I had a little time before we met the boys and my friend for lunch. They just wanted to hang out near the castle so we stopped and got a drink and some cookies for a snack, then went and rode the carousel.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN3987.jpg

The girls were hoping to get Cinderella’s horse and did their best to reach it first but some adult woman ran and grabbed it first, sat on it, the started yelling at some kids “COME ON! I GOT CINDERELLA’S HORSE FOR YOU!” but the kids weren’t interested so she sat there.

I had my favorite, Majordomo Pie. It was yummy! :cloud9: I’m sure I have tons of princess photos around here somewhere but I must’ve forgotten to put them into photobucket and if I go back now, I won’t get this update done!

Little girls, big desserts:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN4025.jpg

Mmmm…chocolate crown

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN4026.jpg

And I got two desserts! (ummm...I didn't ask for them! They just brought them, I swear!

We then went on some rides.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN4031.jpg

Lily and I waited at the Splash Mountain playground.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN4036.jpg

And never mind the two desserts I just had, it wouldn’t be my birthday at Disneyworld without one of these!

Before we knew it it was time to head over to the Grand Floridian for our dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fair. I was really looking forward to this meal, but I must say we were all soooo tired! Character interaction was okay, but not as great as I’d expected. I had ordered a birthday cake about a week before and I reminded our waitress. She said she didn’t have a cake ordered but she would see what she could do. She couldn’t guarantee anything. UGH! I had totally ordered it in advance.

One of the stepsisters told Jayden she really needed to wash her shirt and get that big stain out of it :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

What a great way to spend your birthday! Never can have too many desserts! Calories DON'T count at WDW!

I loved the picture of Mike with Lily on his shoulders! All that fluffy petti surrounding him! Been there... done that! :goodvibes

All the girls customs were fantastic! You did a great job! And that straberry soup is delish!!

I can never figure out which one is Cinderella's horse! What should I look for?

How cool that Lily got to call Tink!!

That picture of Jayden and Lily with Cinderella cracks me up. It almost looks like she's talking through her teeth to Lily "Get over here, kid."

Your desserts look DELICIOIUS!!! MMMMMM........

Yep, you're my kind of girl! Three desserts! YOU GO!

That strawberry soup looks fantastic! I didn't get any when we were there and I've been kicking myself ever since (which isn't a good idea, considering all the bruises I've left. ;))

No, FOUR desserts!!! Oh, more chocolate!! MMMMM...... What was inside of that cake? It looks SO good! When we went to 1900 Park Fare, they had these brownies that were more like a piece of fudge. Heaven on earth, I tell yah! :cloud9:

:rotfl: Love Mike's petti-wig!! :lmao:

Or just look for the adult woman mowing down small children as she flings herself on it. :thumbsup2 You will have to try strawberry soup next time! I'll bet I could make it. Ummm...you know you are taking forever to write a TR when you are looking at your photos and can't believe how young your kids look!
Today’s weather: Temperature High 82 degrees, precipitation 0 :cloud9:

I have a stunning lack of photos from this day! I have no idea where I went wrong. :confused3:

We headed off to Epcot. I think our first stop was Club Cool. My kids LOVE that place. We made sure Dnephew got to try some Beverly. :thumbsup2

I was getting quite a headache from children behaving badly and NO CAFFEINE. I decided for the safety of myself and others to leave them all behind and go in search of a Diet Coke. Who knew I’d have to go clear to Sunshine Seasons to find one! I finally get my caffeine and a little ibuprofen and head back to find the family. As I approach the Living Seas I look for the stroller parked outside to drop something off. I searched and searched and no stroller! :headache: So I called DH who reports to me that they are all sitting down having lunch at…wait for it…Sunshine Seasons! UGH! Thanks for letting me know! SO I retraced my steps and met them back there WHERE I JUST WAS. Can you tell my mood wasn’t improving very well? :sad2: They were seriously halfway through lunch so I grabbed myself something to eat and my family so kindly squished their chairs around the table to find a space for me to join them. Now why couldn’t they have made a phone call to tell me what they were doing and saved me running around the park, looking for strollers, and (almost) having to eat alone? Don’t they know I’m the boss? Sheesh!

After lunch we rode Soarin’ and Livin’ With the Land. Love those rides! FINALLY Lily was tall enough to go on Soarin’! She loved it! She also loved Test Track.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/Image744.jpg

Somewhere along the way Luke lost a tooth! A CM told us to check with someone at our resort and they might have something special from the Tooth Fairy.:tinker:

When we first arrived at Epcot I was wondering where DH was, then I saw him at the stroller rental buying himself an Epcot Passport. We had dinner reservations at Le Cellier so we headed over that way and stopped at the Kidcot station so DH could get his passport stamped. The kids enjoyed the Sharpies as usual.

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN4073.jpg

We didn’t have to wait too long to be called in for our dinner reservation. I think we were all pretty tired. Can you tell who fell asleep before the food even arrived? princess:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/jhaml/Disneyworld%202009/DSCN4075.jpg

Other than one tired baby we had a really nice dinner! I got the filet and it was sooooooooo good! The cheese soup and breadsticks were yummy! I could live off cheese soup and breadsticks! Seth loved the steak kids’ meal but he wanted to try the filet mignon so I gave him a bite of mine. He has yet to stop talking about it. I swear it was the highlight of his trip!

Lily slept soundly through the whole meal.

We then strolled over to England to get another stamp on the passport. I had never made it to that part of the park before and we loved the little shop. They had lots of cool books. I bought Lily a cute Charlie and Lola shirt. After that we went back to our resort for some sleep! We stopped off at the POR gift shop and DH went and talked to someone and they gave him a Tinkerbell pin and some confetti from the Tink toothfairy!

Overall it was kind of a tired grumpy day (well for me anyway) But we had a nice time. Le Cellier was great and it is a definite must do if we ever get back to Disneyworld!

No picture of his first taste of Beverly? You are slacking!

Great action shot by the Turtle Talk sign!

How dare they eat without you!

I love that Mike bought himself a passport. He is so cute!

Cheese soup and breadsticks....YUMMMM!!

How cool that there's a tooth fairy at Disney! When we were there, I had told Tessa that Tinkerbell is the tooth fairy at Disney World. So, she was furiously trying to get her tooth to come out. It didn't come out until we got home, so Tinkerbell visited our house (since the tooth was already loose at Disney World).

Yea for an update!

Yuck for headaches and no diet coke and families that eat without you!

It sounds like the day worked out okay though especially since Lily was tall enough for Soarin and Test Track. We loved Le Cellier!

That is good info on the tooth fairy though Jordan's tooth would never just pop out. She lets them hang by a thread for weeks until we make her let us wiggle it (which take an hour of convincing!).

I had to take a peek at your TR. I "met" Tessa's mom when I joined the DIS a couple months ago. She gave me hope that someday MY Tessa will outgrow all of the trouble she is into right now (age almost 4). I laughed out loud when you said that your Luke is just like her Tessa. Good luck with that. :rotfl: I only got through the first few posts, but it looks like a great trip report, and a fantastic birthday! (Happy 40 by the way:cheer2:)
