:welcome: everybody! This is my first attempt at a trip report, so prepare for greatness. (My dad made me put that!)
Let me introduce you to the cast:
Me – 10 years old:
I’m Grace, the one writing this trip report. I am a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh. I love almost anything to do with him. I collect pins, and my favorite park is Epcot.
My Brother – 12 almost 13 years old:
This is my brother. He also collects pins. He has almost all of the Mickey Head World Showcase pins, except for Mexico and Morocco. He doesn’t have a favorite ride, but loves going to WDW, and likes the drive down a lot too. He also does Yugioh Cards. He will be referred to as DB, even though dear is not quite the word I would use.
Mom and Dad – both are 39:
My parents are big WDW fans. My dad went when he was a little kid. They really like Toy Story Midway Mania. They forced me to ride new rides this trip, and I’m thankful they did.
One big Disney family!

We drove to WDW and stayed from January 24th until January 31st. Here’s the first day.
Today was the big day! My parents were probably up long before, but DB and I were woken up at 5:00 am. We had already packed everything into the van last night, so we just gathered our extras and breakfast, and we were off at 5:30! We had made breakfast the other day, so we just heated up our turkey sausage and egg biscuits, and we were off! I had a caprisun, and everyone else had either water or milk. It’s 32 F. We keep driving, but stop at 6:30 to go to the bathroom at a gross 7 Eleven. My mom had to “fix” the DVD player, by pressing the on switch. We watched Star Wars I, and then started Princess Diaries 2. We stopped at 10:45 to get drinks, and ate our lunch on the road at 10:55. On the way to Savannah, we drove over this bridge. I'm not a bridge person. :scared:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3732.jpg
We had packed chips, and sandwiches. Delicious lunch, and at 1:25, we had made it to Savannah, Georgia.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3730.jpg
We walked into some Welcome Center, which was just a place where they sell these tram tours of all the sites. We went to the bathroom, and were back into our van. My parents were on a quest to find Paula Dean’s restaurant, The Lady and Sons. Well, we drove through the crowded, small streets of Savannah, and eventually, found it and got a picture of the sign.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3733.jpg
So much for stopping in a hotel there. Way to busy for my taste. So we decided to stop at a hotel once we were out of Jacksonville, Florida. It’s about 2:30, still making our way to Jacksonville, when we see a GOAT by the street! It was awesome. At about 3:00, it’s 70 F. Anyway, we’re exhausted, and just wanna get out of the car. Finally, at 4:30, we pull into a Courtyard by Marriot right by the road. Angels start coming down, gold light fills the air. “HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH!”
We check in to this (quite empty) hotel, and head to our room. I loved the room. The one bad thing was, this polka dot chair was the itchiest thing on earth. Anyways, I of course, jumped into my bathing suit and said let’s go to the pool. Well, the pool could’ve been frozen for all we know. The water was ICE cold. The hot tub was the next best thing. We took a nice 10 or so minutes in there, dried off, and went back over to our room, which was conveniently close. We decided to go to the Chili’s across the street for dinner, and then go to the grocery store near that to get fruit for breakfast tomorrow. At Chili’s, for an appetizer we got Kickin Jack Nachos, DELISH! DB and I got gigantic burgers. I forget what they’re called, but they’re on the adult menu. I’m quite impressive, I know.
At the grocery store, halfway through shopping my stomach hurt. Like really badly. I got all scared, because a stomach virus had been going around. All we heard at the parks was, “Don’t touch the handrails.” from my parents. Back to the grocery store, I got a banana, DB got grapes, and I think my parents got apples. We also had some cereal packets at home we were gonna eat. Back to the hotel, shower, getting into pajamas, watch Disney Channel. Good night Florida! The plan for tomorrow was wake up, do the 2 hr. drive to WDW, check in at the WL and hope our room’s ready, Epcot here we come!
Sorry for the lack of pictures! I promise there'll be more in Day 2!
Day 2 coming soon!

Yay! My first post! Thanks! WL is our 2nd (and probably favorite) home!
Yes, we both did Apple camp. DB did Garageband and Movie, and I just did Movie. It was really fun. :)

Yeah! I woke up this morning to find you started your trip report! I'm make sure to have Lauren read it too when she gets home from school. (And now I know she's really going to bug me to allow her to have her own DISboards account! )
You and your family are so cute - I look forward to reading more about your trip. And I don't think I knew you stayed at WL - we loved that place!
Thanks! I'm not much of a writer, but I tried!

After a good night’s sleep in the Sunshine State, it was time to get back on the road and to my happy place! We were conscious at about 7:00, changed, showered and flew to our vehicle. Munching on fruit and cereal, at 8:00 we were back on 95. So far so good. 9:30, the outskirts of Orlando! A palm tree jungle! We’re in Florida now, baby! DVD player still going strong, we watch Garfield and a bit of Over the Hedge. 10:00 am, 3 MILES FROM THE WORLD! I’m excited from head to toe!

Into the most magical gate ever:

Into the second most magical gate ever:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3742.jpg
Then, BOOM.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3743.jpg
We get our parking windshield thing. We find the perfect parking spot. And then, we enter our 2nd home – The Wilderness Lodge. We are welcomed home by a CM, and I am the first one to enter. Honey! I’m home!!! See, this is our home resort, (even though we’ve only stayed at two) we tried the Beach Club, it was pretty good, I LOVED the pool, and the mugs were cute, but the WL is home. So for the fourth time, I entered my gigantic home. Check in time baby! My parents headed over to the check-in, and of course, DB and I headed over to the pin station.Browsing pins, lounging in the awesome chairs, then my parents walk over. Our room isn’t ready! Oh well, expected. Off to Epcot we go! Conveniently, a bus for Epcot came just a few minutes after we showed up!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0059.jpg
Oh boy! Our first park! It’s very crowded. We grabbed a Test Track FP at about 11:15, and since lines were insanely long for everything else, we rode Mission Space, easy version!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3746.jpg
We made it to Mars, and mysteriously walked out back onto Earth. That is a fast spaceship. Anyways, off to my favorite part of Epcot, World Showcase! On the way over, we met Alice, and Mari!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3748.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3750.jpg
Hola, Mexico! Time to ride the Grand Fiesta Tour! (I think that’s what it’s called.)
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3759.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3760.jpg
Isn’t that picture of Donald singing, like, perfect? Back to World Showcase, we went to Norway next! We had to try some School bread. We walked into the bakery, grabbed some school bread, and this thing called Lefse. School bread was SO delicious, lefse was okay, DB liked it.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3764.jpg
I love DB's face in this.
Now China, we had some pot stickers and orange chicken, very delicious, then checked out the “terracotta army”, which we studied in school.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3767.jpg
Done with China, next Germany! I had to get a big pretzel here!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3771.jpg
Delicious! I loved it! We stopped to watch the Fife and Drum Core for a bit while I finished my pretzel. Browsed the shops in Japan, skipped Morocco, France, UK, and Canada, and boom! We were out of there. We cashed our FP’s for Test Track, one of my favorite rides. (Note, my favorite ride will change by the end of this TR.)
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3775.jpg
On the way out, we rode Spaceship Earth. Let me just say that I love the new changes they made to Spaceship Earth! It's so fun making a funny face for your future! Here's my parent's future:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0066.jpg
And we were outta there! Back to the resort! Our room was ready! We had a nice ground floor room , as close as you can get to the boat dock, and a good short distance to the pool and Roarin Forks! Then we of course, hopped in the pool! We relaxed, and got ready for a night at Magic Kingdom!

You're doing a great job! Loved all the pics in this installment - sounds like you really munched your way around World Showcase. I hate bridges, too, and we have a bridge here in Jacksonville called the Dames Point Bridge. It is a huge suspension bridge and it makes me nauseous whenever I have to drive over it. Luckily, I've only been on it twice in a year.
Keep up the good work!

Yea, I love Mission Space! I only do green version though. Only green. You guys should atleast try it. If Lauren can handle RnRC, she can do green version easy peazy. :upsidedow

Hi, thanks for reading! Beach Club is really nice. You guys should definitely check out the sand bottom pool. My brother and I used to pick up the sand from the bottom of the pool, then drop and it made a mini explosion. :rotfl2:
If the slide is open, definetely check that out. They have a really nice store there, I got a cute pair of Pooh earrings there. Try Beaches and Cream if they like ice cream a lot. Or, just walk around and and look at everything. Probably the best thing is the short walk to Epcot. So convenient! :thumbsup2

Okay, I left you with us getting back to the resort, getting the luggage to our room, hopping into the pool and grabbing some sodas from Roarin Forks to refresh ourselves for a night at MK!
I have to admit, there’s like, 5 pictures in this update.
I promise I will gradually get more!!!
Pool time!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4329.jpg
I talked a little about our room in the last update, but be had Room 1005, with a good view. Very quiet.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4312.jpg
View: (taken on a different day)
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4321.jpg
Okay, we managed to hop a boat to the MK for the night. It wasn’t EMH tonight, so we weren’t gonna stay for long. Through the turnstiles and up Main Street, I feel the magic! Towards Frontierland we go, my favorite land.
On the way, we see this AWESOME piano player.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3778.jpg
Over to BTM, one of my favorite rides. We snag FP’s for it, and head over to Pinocchio Haus for Dinner. Pizza and salad for everybody. DB and I had the best time waving to people on IASW. We got a seat right by the window.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3779.jpg
When we had finished and left, we walked by Peter Pan. I don’t know why, but that ride ALWAYS has an insanely long line, unless it’s AM EMH, and you get there right when it opens. Anyway, for some weird reason, almost EVERYTIME we went to the MK this trip, we rode People mover (TTA, what ever) first. I love this “ride.” Especially the part when you’re going at “super speed” into Mickey’s Star Traders. After that, Buzz Lightyear was next. I stink at it. Everyone else is good. I always just get a messed up laser gun. :snooty: Alrighty, next we headed over to the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. We’ve seen this show tons of times, but I still love all the corny jokes. We’ve never gotten picked to participate though. If you have ever gotten picked, share your story! We managed to fill the gigglewatt container, and got outta there. Out of Tomorrowland, and into a Teacup we went! Faster, faster, faster!

The lines were really long for a lot of things, so the best thing was IASW. Sing it with me!
“It’s a world of laughter, a world of tears
It’s a world of hope, and a world of fears
There’s so much that we share, that it’s time we’re aware
It’s A Small World After All!”
Unfortunately, we had a boat block, and we got stuck in that scene for a little. By then, Wishes had started and it was time to cash in our BTM FP! So, I get a little freaked out by fireworks, especially when I’m not facing them and I don’t see it coming. I kept my head down, and walked into Frontierland. Don’t get me wrong, I love fireworks. I just don’t like to be taken by surprise. Fortunately, it was over by the time we got on the ride. This is one of my favorite rides. It’s so much fun. I never want it to be over. Back out of Frontierland, and we wanted to try Snow White’s Scary Adventure. On our first trip, when I was like 4-5, this terrified me. And you know what, I really don’t think that they should make a Snow White ride scary. That’s not what it’s about. Anyway, we got out of there, and we headed back to the resort. Shower, change into pajamas, some cookies for dessert, and we fell asleep to Stacy! A great first day in WDW.
Coming Up Next: It’s Our AK Day! EE, Not For Me!

Ummm, hello? You're right in front of Casey's! How could you not go in for some cheese fries?
We love the TTA too! It's a nice "down" ride. And Lauren is also REALLY bad at BuzzLightyear! I beat her every year; and she pouts about it every year!
Monsters Inc. is great. While we've never been highlighted, they did choose Lauren's joke one time: "Did you hear the Invisable Man married the Invisable Woman? Yeah, their kids are nothing to look at!" HA!HA!

Great TR. I cant belive how good your write for a 10 year old. I'm 14 and I wish I had your writing skill:)
I'm not a bridge person either, I HATE heights so bridges sort of fit into that category.
I also never do well at Buzz Lightyear. MY highet score ever was a 3000. I was really put to shame last trip when my aunt, a first time rider, got 52,000 and i got 1200.
Can't wait for more:)

Wahoo! It’s Animal Kingdom time! Up at 6:50, and out the door about 7:30ish. A bus is there for us, and we’re off to the park of the jungle!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0077.jpg
We get there, and follow the ladies with the rope over to EE. We scurry to the stand-by and are on with little to no wait. Here we are in line! Can’t you tell this is my favorite ride ever?? Such a good pouty face!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0078.jpg
Yea, I’m not a big fan of Everest. I close my eyes for most of it (except for the big outside drop and the broken track), I always get nervous whenever I ride it, but I just don’t like it. Hey, at least I rode it once!! Anyways, we escaped the Yeti and came screeching back to the station. Grabbed 4 FP’s, so my dad could ride twice, and over to Primeval Whirl! Now, when we got on, there was a time machine back up. And we kept hearing the recording of Chester. We twisted and turned our way through the Dinosaur age, and hopped right back on with no wait. Next, we headed over to see Nemo, The Musical. We LOVE this show. I love the colors, the bubbles, the sounds, and everything. Awesome for all ages.
(taken without flash- we ain't no rule-breakers!)

We left the big blue world, and now it was time for EE again. First, DB and my dad, then my mom and dad.
Okie dokie, next we were going to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Flame Tree Barbeque! I chose the BBQ sandwich with cornbread, baked beans, and lemonade, while dad and DB got a half a rack of ribs with beans and cornbread and mom got a BBQ chicken salad. Oh my gosh, so good! Cornbread’s okay, and there were ducks all around us trying to get our food. They were semi-annoying, but the foods so good, with a great view of Everest! We had a delicious lunch, now time for my favorite part- Meeting Pooh and Friends! Winnie the Pooh is one of my favorite characters! We had a hilarious CM who greeted us. Hurray! Eeyore and Pooh!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3783.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3787.jpg
Next it was time for It’s Tough To Be A Bug. Seriously, my favorite part was walking in the Tree of Life. I really don’t care for this show. The little kid next to my mom was on the ground. Poor little guy. Plus, the stinkbug is dreadful.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3791.jpg
On a happier note, it was safari time! Into Harambe Wildlife Reserve we go! I was disappointed that they didn’t focus on the Little Red storyline a lot anymore. Oh well. Still, we saw tons of animals. This one even came like, right up to the vehicle.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3804.jpg
We didn't get a lot of good ones. Sorry. Also, that ride is so bumpy! I was on the far right, and I felt like I was gonna fall out! Okay, we defeated the poachers! Woohoo! Outta there. We’re a decent way away from it. Then I ask, “Hey DB, where are your pins?” Oh yes. We searched the backpack. Not there. We searched DB. Not there either. We raced back to the Safari and asked the nearest CM if they had a lost and found. He showed us the box, and we breathed a sigh of relief. Right there. Before we left, my dad and I wanted to ride Kali. DB and my mom sat down and watched Flights of Wonder while we headed over there. We decided it wasn’t worth 30 minutes today, so we watched Flights of Wonder with them, and then went over to this one shop to get pins:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3831.jpg
I got this pin, and DB got a Canadian mickey head. He collects the Epcot country mickey heads, like I said. We waited for a bus while snacking on chips, and we were back to the glorious Lodge. What’d we do next? You guessed it! The pool! They have new pool parties now with prizes, dancing, and games, so DB and I joined in the fun. I did the Cupid Shuffle, and DB and I did Limbo. Next, they hosted a music trivia contest, and DB and I won a rockin awesome (and very fat) Indiana Jones doll. We won by guessing songs by Modern English, The Killers, Hannah Montana, and A Goofy Movie (Upon The Open Road.) Very fun, now it was time to change and get ready for another night at MK!
Coming Up: MK, Wishes, and the famous TTA!

It's time for yet another night at the Magic Kingdom. Boom bop! (I’m not quite sure why I put Boom bop…)
Off we sail! Managed a boat to the MK, for a night of Fireworks, Pirates, and our ADR at the ultra-delicious Plaza! Through the turnstiles, and up my favorite street!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0088.jpg
We decided to go in the Tommorowland direction, to see what the mountain of space had to offer. It had a long line, so my dad took the tickets and ran into the line for FP’s. Very short FP line, now time for the most exhilarating attraction ever, The Peoplemover! Fun, fun, fun. After visiting Mr. Tom Morrow, it was time for Buzz. After a good shooting game, it was time for a ride on the right side of Space. Very fun! It was finally time to eat at the much anticipated Plaza restaurant!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0089.jpg
We had eaten this our 2nd trip, and loved it, so we wanted to come back again! My mom and I split the Plaza Club, DB got the Angus Chuck Cheeseburger (no surprise there!). and my dad got the Cheese Steak Sandwich. Oh my goodness, these were SO good! Sorry, no pics! But the dessert was even better. The Brownie Sundae. This was over-the-top delicious. And huge, too! We were stuffed. Time for Adventureland! I love the music they play when you walk in. POTC showed a 5 minute wait, but it was a walk-on.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0090.jpg
I love the drop. It sounds like you’re going to get soaked, but you end up completely dry. The lines were long for everything, except Jungle Cruise. So of course, we went on that. It was fun at night. We had a funny skipper, and a good laugh. The Carpet line seemed to be shortening up, so we hopped onto that. Haunted Mansion next! A 5-minute wait! When the ghost said, “Or you can come out my way… MUAHAHA” this one teenage guy screamed like a girl. He was kidding of course. It was funny. When we go backwards on this, and on Spaceship Earth, I feel like if I move an inch, we’ll go toppling down. Oh well, we ditched our Doombuggy, and were off to the Castle. Towards the exit, we stopped so we could see Wishes. We had a pretty good spot, everyone could see. I like this show so much better when I know when it’s going to happen. Beautiful show, now we sprint with the rest of the crowd out the gates and to the bus stop. After a semi-long bus wait, we were back home. It wasn’t too late, so we grabbed some mickey bars, and sat outside by the pool. Wiped our faces, walked to the room, changed, and watched some Stacy. I had to get a good night’s sleep to prepare my self for DHS!
Coming Up: A new ride, some cars, and Sci Fi ADRs!

Today was the day! It was time to face the park of thrill! Disney’s Hollywood Studios, ladies and gentlemen! Let’s do it!
We were up in a flash, into our clothes, and flying out the door! Rushing to the bus station, and arriving at the park where stars are born!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3840.jpg
Of course, we ran with the rest of the crowd, over to Toy Story Mania! We decided to hit the standby, and grab FP’s afterwards. This ride is SOO much fun! I could play it all day! The spinning is so smooth, and the guns work perfectly! Fantastic ride. We ran out, to discover of course, an obscenely long FP line. Oh well, we got in it all the same. A kind CM took our cards and got them for us. We decided to check on the line for Star Tours. 40 minutes is a little much for this. No big, let’s head on over to Muppets! We rushed to the holding room, to find it almost empty! Ah, leg room!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3850.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3851.jpg
We LOVE the Muppets. Love them. This show is so hilarious. A good plot, good 3D, and tons of fun for kids! Woohoo! We had fun, and then skedaddled outta there, to grab some treats from Starring Rolls for “a healthy breakfast.” Not before some pictures with Mater and Lightning McQueen!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3852.jpg
Back to Starring Rolls! Cinnamon buns, croissants, and chocolate muffins, babies! After my happy time pigging out on a muffin, it was time for some serious business. It was time to ride the Hotel of Horror- no, it’s not that… the Stop of Scariness- close… ah, the TOWER OF TERROR! Yes, I’ve never ridden this. Yes, I was terrified in the waiting room. And yes, I loved it afterwards! I quite enjoyed it! Of course, I closed my eyes for the entire thing. I also told my mom to tell me when the dropping would start. Hey, at least I rode it and liked it! Next, we decided to visit Prince Caspian in Narnia. We decided to meet the character first, and then see the movie. Hello, Caspian!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3856.jpg
(sorry for bad pic, I don't know what's up with the lighting)
Then we watched the movie.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3858.jpg
Basically, you could watch the trailer and it’d give you the same stuff. The only special part was the props from the movie. Outta there! Our TSM FP time had rolled around, so it was time for another shooting showdown! Woohoo! After we left, we saw that The Great Movie Ride had a 5 minute wait, so we decided to go for it.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3864.jpg
The good thing about this line is that it moves pretty fast. We scored front row seats, and we had totally nice CM, who’s name I’ve forgotten. She was great. The line for Star Tours was only about 10 minutes, so we hit that. Very fun. Lunchtime! We had ADR’s for Sci Fi Drive In Theater!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3868.jpg
This is my favorite restaurant. Sure, the food isn’t to die for, but it’s good! The atmosphere is so cool! We got the normal, burgers and fries for everyone. Yum, yum, yum! We couldn’t get any of their delicious milkshakes, because we would miss Block Party Bash. So we paid, and dashed outta there. Time for parade pictures!
If you haven’t seen this parade yet, and don’t want to spoil yourself, skip through all of these. As you can see in picture #11, they invite you out to dance!
Colors, bright colors!

I'm happy that you rode ToT!! It is my all time fav ride - I rode it 3x in one day my last trip. I would love to see the Block Party Parade - what great characters! What is the name of the little girl in Monsters, Inc.? I would love to be in her costume (I'm not short enough but it would be so much fun to portray her).

Time to go back home! A nice relaxing dip in the Wilderness Lodge pool, and we’re off! We were aimlessly headed towards our latest night at the Magic Kingdom! We got some lovely shots from the front of the boat we took there:

What better way to start off an evening then a nice ride on the TTA? Woohoo! Next, we decided to go on over to the Laugh Factory.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3966.jpg
Love this attraction! A couple of corny jokes later, we were out of there! The line for Buzz looked tolerable, so we did that once more. I, of course, lost. Oh well! I had something to look forward to! Casey’s!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3965.jpg
We each got a hot dog, and I split a fry pouch with DB. Oh my gosh, they have the most DEELISH cheese fries eva!!! I wish they gave you more friesin the little thing! After a yummy dinner, we headed off to Adventureland! Pirates of the Caribbean had a five minute wait, so we just went for it. Of course, it was a walk-on. Ahoy! Next was BTM, at night! I love this ride. It’s fun. Of course, now it was time to face the next mountain… the Splash Mountain. I’m shaking all over. We get in our log and I’m freaking out because there’s no seatbelts!!! AHH! I’m still a little terrified of it. Oh well, I atleast conquered it! Go me! Pooh Bear’s line had cleared up, so we decided to ride that. At the end, we always take this pic of me in front of Pooh. Look how much I’ve grown! :

http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3953.jpg
So much walking! On over to Fantasyland one last time! Onto the carousel! We hadn’t done this in forever! Right as we got off, Goofy hopped on with a little girl, so we just had to get on one more time.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3980.jpg
And finally, Dumbo’s line was practically gone, so we of course had to ride that.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3968.jpg
By now, it was 11:30, and we were worn out. Back to the Lodge! I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow! We were ready for our last day at AK!
Coming Up: Special Seating, Juggling, and DTD!

First of all - CONGRATS to you young lady for riding ToT! As I have mentioned, I will NEVER ride that thing but I'm glad you enjoyed it!:goodvibes
Great pix of the DHS parade. We have yet to stop and watch that one. I'm thinking I really need to in Dec.; my daughter Amanda would really love the bright colors and cheeriness of it all.
I agree - those servings of fries at Casey's are not big enough AT ALL. A little helpful hint for you - if you're on the DDP, you can use a snack credit to get an extra order!:thumbsup2

Hi, and thanks for the congratulations! I was shaking all over in the queue, trust me.
I think you'd like Block Party Bash. The weird thing is, it stops right before where we were standing. And then it just keeps coming along, after you've heard everything. So it's like, I just heard this, and saw it...
I also had to share the fry order with my brother! I was dying to get more! Next time I'll order two!

Up and at ‘em! It’s World Showcase time! We drowsily awoke from our comfy beds, and strode into the lobby and over to the bus stop. It was Epcot day! We asked the bus guy when the next Epcot bus would probably come. 20 minutes. Then of course, an Animal Kingdom bus pulls up. My dad looks at us, and then of course, our plans go down the toilet, and we hop on to the bus for our last day at Animal Kingdom. So we arrive to the park, and are greeted by extremely long lines to get in.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4038.jpg
The park hadn’t opened yet so we got in line. Then we noticed a tiny little line, with the words electronic ticket entrance by it. We decided to go on over to it. Turns out, when the park opens you can go through that cast member entrance and it had a really short line! So when the park opened we and one other family ran our snooty booties to the front, with a fantastic view of the opening show. Some random CM walks up, and asks if anyone wants to volunteer. My dad asked me if I wanted to. Of course, I said sure. So out of the ropes I go, over to the nice CM named Gary. Gary tells me he’s going to make a speech about Mother Nature, and then, I’ll have to turn this crank to open up the cover over all of the ride times.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3986.jpg
Then, it being the What Will You Celebrate year, he asked me what I was celebrating. I said riding ToT for the first time. (pretty lame I know) He asked me if I planned to see the Lion King show today. I said yes, and then he offered me VIP SEATING TO THE 10:30 LION KING SHOW! Woohoo! So he makes his speech, and I am working that crank! Too much, really, thank you, you’re too kind… Pre-show time!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3991.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3993.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3996.jpg
Anyways, the pre-show is done, and two ladies with a rope walk us on over to EE. Of course, we rode that and grabbed FP’s. Over to Primeval Whirl!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_3998.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4002.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4036.jpg
On the way back over to EE, we stopped and watched those cute little black monkeys. Then our FP time rolled around, so we let my mom and dad ride, and then DB and my dad. My dad checked his watch, and it was 10:30! We ran/walked through Camp Minnie Mickey, and I’m just shaking with excitement! We head up to the door, and we confirm that we are Party Grace. Into the huge theater, front row babies! And seriously, when I say front row, I mean that tiny little bench right at the front. About 5 minutes later, tons of people pour in, and we are ready for the show!! The lights dim, and the show begins! We got some great pictures:

http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4025.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4029.jpg
It was so fun! I had a great time. We walked out of there and figured it was time to go. There was no way we could top that! We took a bus to Epcot, because we did have ADR’s for Chefs de France, so we had to get over to Epcot sometime.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4040.jpg
We walked into the park and headed over to the Kim Possible cart, and landed a ticket to Norway. We headed over to Norway, and got the China Mission:

http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4051.jpg
We headed past Germany, and decided to stop by and watch Sergio the Juggler in Italy. And of course I got selected to hold the net and participate in the show, being the lucky girl I am:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/th_MVI_4063.jpg (http://s601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/?action=view¤t=MVI_4063.flv)

http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4087.jpg
We still had some time to spare before our ADR’s, so we went to Japan so DB could buy some pins there. I went outside to watch Miyuki the Candy Lady while they made their purchase, They joined me outside, and we watched. I had gotten a penguin last year:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_2460.jpg
So DB wanted one this year. I was in front, so I raised my hand as high as it could go. (not obnoxiously) She chose me, and I asked for a red dragon. (what he wanted.) She kindly made it, and it was so amazing looking!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4100.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4102.jpg
We stopped for a picture with Snow White:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4057.jpg
It was now time to check into our ADR for Chef’s de France! Woohoo! We scurried on over and checked in with the nice lady, and probably sat about 4-5 minutes out there. We were in and seated pretty quick, and while DB and I were in the bathrooms, our bread and soups arrived. We had ordered the French Onion Soup and the Lobster Bisque. I’m not fluent in French, so I’m just calling them the American name. I’ll copy and paste the French entrée names. Let’s return to the subject, shall we. Oh my gosh, these soups were so delicious. I favored the French Onion more, but they were both delicious. The bread was nice and soft on the inside, and everything was delicious. We had been planning and planning, so didn’t even have to look at the menu. We wanted to try a little of everything, so everyone ordered something, then we split all of it. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi sandwich, pommes frites et sauce tartare (fish sandwich and fries), DB ordered the Crepe Basquaise (crepe with chicken), my mom ordered the Croque monsieur et sa salade verte (ham and cheese sandwich and a salad), and my dad ordered the Demi poulet fermier roti Pommes puree au basilic et tomate braisee (chicken with mashed potatos.) It was funny, I tried one of my fries, and it tasted EXACTLY like a McDonald’s fry. I chuckled a bit. I’m not going to go through every little detail, but you get the idea. Everything was delicious. We walked out of there stuffed and happy. Almost out of the French pavilion, I ask DB, “Where’s your Miyuki candy?” Oh yes. My dad and DB dashed through the exit (some guy opened it for them) and it wasn’t by our table. All was lost. …Then of course, they headed up to the front, and got it back. Thank god for Lost and Found! We were out of there. Back to the resort on a bus, and into the pool on a slide! A night in DTD awaited us!
Coming Up: Goofy, Earl, and Pins!

It was about dinnertime, so we headed over to our favorite DTD restaurant: Earl of Sandwich! I decided to get a Pizza Sandwich; my parents split the Cobb salad and the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich, and DB got The Scudetto. These are so good! We loved all of them. Now it was time for one of my favorite parts of the trip: Make-A-Cup slushies! We walked (I ran) over to Goofy’s Candy Co., to see what parts they had.

I was kind of disappointed about them not having Minnie parts. But they had Goofy, so I decided to get him, with a Strawberry/ Pink Lemonade slushie! DB got the Mickey parts, with a blueberry slushie. There was a very nice man, who let us sample all of the flavors, and told us of some good combinations. While slurping our spectacular slushies, we browsed the home appliance store. It was almost time to go, but before we headed back to the van, DB and I wanted to stop in the pin shop. I chose to buy one of the name pins, and my brother got 2 pins (one mickey head and one Star Wars). We stopped by the Pooh store to do our photo opp with the Pooh bench. Look how we've grown:

Now it was time to head home and get some sleep, because tomorrow was Epcot day!

I am so enjoying your TR! You are a good writer and you have a knack for sharing the fun. Your day at AK was amazing, and it looks like you had a great time at DTD! I can't wait to see your Epcot day!:cool1:

Enough sleeping! Let’s go to Epcot! But before we dashed out of the resort, we had made reservations last night for Whispering Canyon Cafe. We headed on over and got a table in just a few minutes. We all ordered the yummy Canyon skillet, and pretty soon, we were all stuffed. Now we were ready to go to Epcot! A bus came pretty quick, so we were there in a jiffy. The lines were crazy, but TT had a short line, so we rode that twice in a row. Then we decided to try Mission Space. My brother and my mom went to ride orange, and my dad and I rode green. Next, we went to Soarin, which we rode and got FP’s for. We were close to Nemo, so we hopped on that. Turtle Talk with Crush was about to start, so we stopped in for that. Cute show, it’s good for little kids. We browsed the little stations too.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4129.jpg
Time for World Showcase! The World Showcase players of UK were out, so we watched them. We went to Norway and got a KP ticket for the Mexico mission. The time was quite a while away, so we stopped in France to get some sweets.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4136.jpg
We got a slice of cheesecake, a napoleon, chocolate mousse, a croissant, and a chocolate croissant. These were so delicious! My favorite was the cheesecake. We were still a little hungry, so we stopped at the Yakatori House, and got teriyaki chicken and sukiyaki beef. We went into the shop, and my brother got some pins. The Chinese acrobats were starting soon; so we sat down to watch them.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4141.jpg
When some of them were dismounting their formation, one fell, and the show ended. It was very scary. My Kim Possible time finally rolled around, so we headed over there to get my Kimmunicator. Everything was inside the resturant, but hey, I figured it would be. The Mexico pavilion is very small. So I completed another fun mission. The line for Character Connection had shortened up, so we went for that. We got pictures with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald!

http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4147.jpg
After that, it was finally time to use our Soarin FP’s. This is one of our favorite rides, but we almost always get fastpasses to ride it. By now, it was dinnertime, so we ate at Seasons because it was so close by. We got some sandwiches, I didn’t really like mine. We took a group shot, in front of the glorious golf ball:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4157.jpg
We were ready to leave, but the line for Spaceship Earth was short, so we hit that:
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4216.jpg
skipped to the buses (well, I skipped), and went in the WL pool and got a Mickey bar.

Wake up, sleepyhead! It’s DHS day! And you know you wanna be early for that! Wake up call from Stitch, clothes on and we’re out the door! On a bus to the park of dreams!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0140-1.jpg
We get in, watch the preshow, and join the mad dash to TSM! We grab some FP’s, and dash into the standby line, with a less then 5 minute wait! Woohoo! Love this ride!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4178.jpg
I’m happy as can be! Then… it’s mentioned. The ride of all rides, the thriller of all thrillers – ROCKIN ROLLER COASTER! I’m not backing out this time! I’m getting on that ride! Maybe. I walk through the queue, I’m so scared I can’t even laugh at the preshow. I’m in the alley way, I’m in line, I’m strapped in!!! We pull up to the gate, and I’m thinking, “Why did I do this? I need to get out right now! LET ME OUT!” Then the countdown starts. FIVE! (I’m gonna die!) FOUR! (Why did I do this?) THREE! (AHHH!!) TWO! (There’s no turning back!) ONE, AHHH!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4184-1.jpg
VROOM! I’m shot into Hollywood, eyes shut tight, sweaty hands clamped to the handles. I didn’t close my mouth for the entire ride. I couldn’t stop screaming. When we pulled into the station, I had to lick my lips, like 7 times because my mouth was so dry. We get off, and I scream, “THAT WAS THE BEST RIDE EVER!” And it really was!! I loved the loops, the corkscrew! Everything! We browsed the gift shop, and I found a very cute t-shirt.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4200.jpg
We’d come back for it later, my mom and dad said. The line was still short, so we rode it again, and got FP’s. I have done it! I have conquered every single ride in WDW!
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4196-1.jpg
Yay! We rode ToT, because it had a short line.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4197.jpg
It was finally time for our TSM FP’s, so we went ahead and used those. We had some chips and water as a snack, because we were starving. Next, we headed over to Muppets 3d. We love that show. It never gets old. Now, we got to use our RnRC FP’s! But sadly, when we got over there, the ride had broken down. So we just went in and purchased my new cute t-shirt. We took a group shot as we left, and it was time to go to Epcot, as we had ADR’s for Le Cellier.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4203-1.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_0150.jpg
We took the boat from DHS to Epcot, and we still had some time to kill before our ADR, so I grabbed a Kim Possible ticket, and it said to pick up in Italy. So we headed to France and my parents got another napoleon, and then we made it to Italy to get DB and I our gelati and pick up my Kimmunicator.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4206-1.jpg
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4204-1.jpg
I got the UK mission, so we headed over to do that.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4212.jpg
We also stopped for a picture with Pooh and Tigger.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4209-1.jpg
We also watched the UK World Showcase players again. Canada was next, so to get out of the rain, we watched O’Canada in circle vision. When it was over, the rain had stopped, and it was time to check in for our Le Cellier ADR’S.
http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/wlbowie/IMG_4214-1.jpg
I got the Beef n’ Macaroni (deelish), DB got burger and fries, and my parents both got steak and potatos. Everything here was absolutely delicious. I’ll leave you here, because this is so long. Until next time!

So many things to catch up on.........
LOVED DTD! Haven't eaten at Earl of Sandwich though. (Lauren doesn't do sandwiches.:headache:) Great pix! We love Goofy's! I think Lauren has every cup except for the Stitch one!
Love your brown Disney shirt - so cute!
And I can't believe all of the rides you do. I think I'll be able to get Lauren back on RnRC but she is a definite NO GO for ToT. And so am I!

poohbearluver,
Just followed your link from Cammie's TR and let me tell you that I'm truly impressed!! I'm sure that your family (beautiful one, BTW) is very proud of you.
I love your outlook and good -natured (positive) disposition. Also, although I DO love thrill rides (a condition that my 6-years old DD has inherited :) (She is an Eeyore fan) ) I share your love of IASW and Main Street. IASW is, for me, a must see and Main Street is just magical.
Keep up the wonderful work!! :thumbsup2
Best Regards,
Luis (51, more than 15 visits to Disney Parks (since 1977) and still enjoy them as any kid would...)

I left you off when we were leaving Le Cellier. Well, everything was delicious, we were filled to the brim, and as we walked out, it started to rain. We ran towards Mouse Gears, as it was the closest covered area. Well DB found 3 of the pins he needed, and a new lanyard to keep the pins from his collection, and a T-shirt. I found a bracelet. We paid for our merchandise, and ran out into the rain. It was still pouring outside, so we headed to Spaceship Earth, which virtually, had no line. Fun, fun, fun! We hung back and messed around in Project Tomorrow. I played a few games, and by now, it was time to go. We took the monorail to the Ticket and Trans Center, and walked to the Poly. We walked through, and weren’t crazy about it. We didn’t really like the layout. We took the monorail to the Grand Floridian. It was nice but it wasn’t for families. Our final stop was the Magic Kingdom, where we took a boat to the Wilderness Lodge. We dropped off our stuff in our room, and headed down to the arcade. We played a few games there, and then went to Roarin Fork’s for a snack. I got a pizza, and DB got a burger. We went back to the room, watched American Idol (not the attraction, the TV show), ate our food, and went to bed. We needed to get ready for our last full day at the parks!
I'm sorry for the no pictures! I promise there'll be more next time!!

Just found your TR and am thoroughly enjoying it! Can't believe you've hit all the rides now -- while I love RNRC and EE, I just can't bring myself to ride TOT. Dunno what it is about that one :confused3
Can't wait to hear more.
