what brand of camera do you use most

just from looking at the brand specific threads got me wondering which brands have the most users here...ok i am guessing nikon followed by canon but i think the others are gaining to. so since i don't think this has been done for a while if i can figure out how to post a poll i will

I'm actually going to bet Canon will be at the top just nudging out Nikon. At least at the moment Sony is tied for second with Olympus! Woohoo! :lmao: Although with P&S's it will be interesting........

Can "other" be a mix of a bunch of brands?

For everyday shooting now, I use Nikon. For traveling light, I use my Canon P&S and for the beach/underwater I use Olympus. ;)

Since the question was what brand do I use most I voted for Nikon. We actually have a Canon S2 IS and Canon Powershot (forgot all the little numbers) and Kodak PnS as well but by far the D90 is what gets used the most; almost every day verses now and then if someone other then myself takes pictures.

And if I spring for an underwater camera, I'm considering the Pentax.

I'm Canon only. I started out with a S5 IS and sold it to buy a XSi. My wife has a Canon SX110IS. We also have an A630.

I still have a Sony P&S that I carry. And we have a Nikon P&S in the house that seems to be retired. The Blackberry, Sony/Ericsson and Motorola round out our cameras that are actually used these days.

I put in my Canon vote. The most used would be one of the 4 Canon DSLRs (XT, 30D, 5D, 50D). Following that would be the Fuji compact. But also in our house is our Sony video camera, an older Sony compact, a Kodak APS film camera, and a box of cameras that I inherited when my dad passed away which I need to go through and see what's working. I know that box contains his old disc camera :lmao: and at least one brownie.

Nikon. I had a p&s coolpix p2 but it broke so I just have my D80 now. I'm thinking of picking up another p&s and actually thinking of the Pentex Optio for the waterproof. :thumbsup2 but I'd still be mostly Nikon user because I'd use that as a carry around purposes and water use only really. ;)

I had to vote 'Olympus' as I've only had an Olympus PnS for the past 6 years or so. I've JUST purchased a Canon XSi, so if this poll comes up again in a few months, I'll have to vote 'Canon' at that time!!
