Some pictures of the Snow in Ireland

Here are some photos I took back at the start of Feb of the snow here in Dublin. It lasted about a week and was the first tie in many years we have had snow like this. Any constructive criticism is welcome :-)

very pretty,guessing it 's not a common thing there? love the look of snow when it hangs on the trees like that before it turns black from the traffic,somehow then it's just not the same

if it's common,when you ever get it you again you may be able to set your custom wb for it so it's white and not blueish( mine you take a photo of just a big patch of snow then put it in you custom wb but not sure how other camera do it). saves a lot of time with the color corrector tool:)

No it's not all that common it snows every few years but never seems to stick, this is the first time in many years that it has. Thanks for the advice jann hopefully it will snow some again so I can put it into practice. :)

Wow! Do they always have blue snow in Ireland? I thought Ireland would have green snow!

Seriously, you need to check the white balance on your camera or correct it in post processing so that the snow is white.

I was in southern Ireland when you were hit with the snow. I think you all need driving lessons more than photography lessons. :rotfl2:

Cool to see Ireland white! I've always seen it in lush green:thumbsup2
I'm not good at getting white snow either and I live in NH.
