Hello Everyone!
We just made cash reservations in a one bedroom at Vero for November. The Cast Member indicated that we would receive a garden view, however, when the confirm arrived it states "Variable View".
Does anyone know what this means?
Could we possibly get a view of the parking lot?
Thanks for the info!

If you are staying in a one-bedroom, they do not break it out by views. You can put in a request for oceanview, but it won't be guaranteed. There is a large dune that protects the resort from the ocean but also makes oceanviews possible only when you can "see over" the dune. The rooms with an oceanview are limited. Maybe others here can suggest one-bedrooms where they have gotten a good view. I think it's possible that you might get a room looking out the other direction. But, don't despair. It wouldn't be a lousy view of the parking lot it would be towards the parking lot/A1A but also looking out across to the Indian River. Or, you might get a pool view.....I don't think there are any views that are terrible, just the oceanview is most coveted.

Owners will receive priority over renters for view requests. This likely guarantees a garden view I would think.

I don't think any of the one-bedrooms look over the parking lot. THis is how the rooms are set up (at least it's how they are on the 3rd floor): The buildings are roughly in a U shape, with the open end of the U facing the parking lot. The dedicated 2-bedrooms are on either side at the top of the U (partial parking lot views). The 1-bedrooms and studios are farther down the sides of the U and the base of the U. The base of the U faces the ocean.

If you can, request 3rd floor, ocean view. The first and second floors are too low to get any view of the ocean at all.
