I was lucky enough to get out of Wisconsin for a few days at the end of last week and I thought I'd give everyone a chance to take a look at the results of my first trip with a DSLR.

Since I'm not getting booed off the board I'll post a few more, sadly since it was a short trip I didn't get a ton of good pics, but I'm happy with a bunch of them. There's only 7 in this group, maybe if I realized I missed a good one I'll add it later.

A sign inside the Gaylord Palms where we stayed, not on-site... sad..., but if there's anything I've learned from my mother, you don't complain about something that's free... She actually won the trip.

Inside the Japan pavilion, if I had seen the shot coming I could have got a better angle, but I was just looking around and saw the shot between the pieces of wood, and somehow it worked.

Pirates broke down literally when our boat was pulling up... so they made us leave, thought it looked cool with the cannon, probably would have rather had the focus fall on the cannon, but I didn't have time to take it again... This one was taken on the fly while walking.

When you're only in the parks two days, you're always go go go..., so we took a little bit of time to go visit the Poly, and this basically sums up how we all felt at this point... not the best picture with my fiancee's legs, but it's more about what the picture says, not what it shows.

Really nice shots! I love the one from Tom Sawyers Island, that's a nice perspective. Great monorail shots too!
